Samon Kusaribe( 鎖部 左門,Kusaribe Samon) is a member of the Kusaribe Clan. Samon believed that it isn't the Tree of Exodus that's going to destroy the world, but instead it would be the awakening of the Tree of Genesis. In the first half of the story Samon was the main enemy of the group, because of his belief that the Tree of Genesis would destroy the world. Because of his belief in this Samon made the decision of putting Hakaze into a barrel and sending her into an isolate island to die. The voice type I want is in the low range mature adult sounding.

Tetsuma Kusaribe is one of the subordinates of Samon Kusaribe. When Samon left to talk with Mahiro and Yoshino, he was tasked with the supervision of the Tree of Zetsuen's revival. Tetsuma is a smart person with quick, logical, and strategic thinking, known to hate whatever defies logic. Hakaze has noted him to be "full of conceit", and even noted him to have been a "scared cat", though it is unknown whether this description stems from the tense relationship between the two of them.
Tetsuma is a member of the Kusaribe Clan.
Hakaze notes Tetsuma to have been a "scared-cat" as a child, and she liked to tease him and exploit that weakness. His dislike for Hakaze may stem from this among other factors, and is likely one of the reasons of why he supported Samonaccomplishing his plan.
“Most likely. Very few humans can move freely within the boundaries set by the Black Iron Syndrome. It appears I’ll have quite the gift for Mr. Samon. Hmm.”
“Only if they cooperate then we don’t have to get our hands dirty. And you, if you’d only had the heart to listen to Mr. Samon to begin with, these two wouldn’t had to get involved.”
“We thought it’s best for the clan that you would perish on that island… And I’m sure I’m not the only one to feel that way.”

Hayakawa Takumi works for the government. He is the head of the military branch assigned to fight against the Kusaribe Clan.
In the anime Takumi first appeared when the military kidnapped Yoshino. He talked with him about their startegy and their course of action in the upcoming attack on Mt. Fuji. In the manga on the other hand he first appeared when the military is already attacking the Mt.fuji, he is in charge of deploying tanks, helicopters to the scene. Later on he was demoted because of the failure of the mission.
Once that the world has settled after the attack of the Tree of Beginnings, he had been trying to regain his position in the government. He is said to be spreading rumors about the Magician of Zetsuen.
Ep 3 line “There have been too many casualties from the black iron syndrome. We’ve been ordered to bomb tunnels and railroads to the city, using helicopters at long range.”
Ep 3 line “Think about it. Who would want to go to a region where most of its inhabitants have metallicized? On top of that, there’s no known cause, and protective gear won’t guarantee safety.”
