Project Overview
Hello, welcome to the casting call! We are looking for a new VA for Mai Kujaku/Mai Valentine for the on-going Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist Manga (Duelist Kingdom Arc). An actress was originally cast (Chapter 5 - 9) but a different direction came into mind.
We are dubbing the entirely of the Duelist Kingdom Arc from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist Manga!
Story Description:
Yugi Muto is forced to take part in Maximillion Pegasus' Duelist Kingdom tournament in order to free the soul of his grandfather, after Pegasus' strips it from his body. His friend Joey Wheeler takes part too as he needs the prize money to pay for his sister's eye operation.

Character Description:
At the beginning of the series, Mai is a self-absorbed woman who is only set out for prize money, personal satisfaction and power. She was also very arrogant and prideful of her Dueling skills and looks and used those to brag to Téa Gardner a lot.

(Context: Mai talks about her plan to duel Yugi) As a duelist, of course I want to fight Yugi! But with the rules of this island, that’s not a good strategy… Look at Inspector Haga! First I need to crush the weaklings and collect my star chips. I’ll fight Yugi after that…
(Context: Jonouchi asked Mai why she came to Duelist Kingdom) Both! What else do you think?! If I win the prize money, I’ll travel the world… No! I’ll live in Paris for years and buy all the chanel and vuitton that I want! (greedy) (Context: Mai get mad at Jonouchi’s response back to her) How dare you! So what are you here for?! (annoyed, upset)
