In the town of Sakurashin, both human and yokai co-exist. This town is protected by a barrier created by the spiritual sakura known as the seven pillars. The story revolves around four teens; Akina, Hime, Ao, and Kotoha; They run an office in Sakurashin called the Hiizumi Life Counseling Office. When the town's safety is threatened, they must band together to protect the town live in.
Hello and welcome to my casting call for my new abridged series! Please be aware that while I am looking forward to everyone having fun with these roles, I am also looking for professionalism in their work. So please, if you will, have the following for your auditions:
1. Please have a good microphone
(I know this is obvious, but I want to be able to hear your voice clearly, and if you can try to have little to no static and/or popping in your recordings as possible.
2. There will be screaming involved
(This is a little less obvious, but seeing as though some of the characters do fight in the show, it is safe to assume there will be screaming/grunting/other fighting sounds involved. If you are not comfortable with that, then I apologize, but that's the way it has to be. I won't be changing the script to fit your needs.)
3. If you are casted, please provide me with your skype name and email
(I need to be able to get in contact with each member that I cast for. That being said, with each new script that comes out, I will be contacting you on skype and each script will have a 2-3 week window for you to turn in lines. If I can't reach you through skype, I will use email instead. If I can't reach you at all, I will hold a re-cast for that character.)
4. Feel free to experiment and have fun with the auditions!
(Even though I have a set preference in mind for each character, if you have seen the show and have something else in mind for the characters' voices, please feel free to try it out! It doesn't hurt, plus there will be extra roles later on, so if you aren't casted this time, you will get a second chance down the line!)

Hey everyone! Since I'm not really getting auditions for the two of the more important characters that I need (Yae and V Lila F), I'll have to extend the deadline. I dont want to close out the auditions until I have auditions for these two characters. It'll most likely just be for another week or two. Also, thanks to everyone who auditioned so far! For the characters that already have auditions, I already given it thought to who should voice each one but since the deadline is extending, you can still audition. Thanks once again everyone!
Toka is the younger sister of Kyousuke Kishi, both of whom are yokai with superhuman strength. Toka is very kind-hearted towards everyone she meets, except her brother who she thinks of as nothing but a nuisance. She also has a crush on Akina. Whenever she gets flustered, she tends to break things unintentionally which is why most of her friends view her as a klutz. In this abridged, she does have a small quirk. She'll sometimes think homicidal thoughts whenever Akina and a girl other than her is brought into conversation. If her anger isn't kept in check, she may just go on a rampage and "HULK SMASH" anything that's in her way. (Voice range: Medium-High to Medium)

(Overly excited) Akina~!! I'm so happy to see you!! Do you need anything? I can get you anything you want! What would you like?! Some food? A drink maybe? Ohohoh waitwaitwait! Maybe I can get you some- *Accidently hits a wall* Uh...Kyousuke? I broke the wall again....

Juri is a human nurse who runs a clinic in Sakurashin. She has an upbeat personalty and isnt afraid to take charge when the situation calls for it. She is always there to lend a helping help to both humans and yokai alike. She also sometimes has the tendency to act provocative even when she doesn't mean to be. She also does a fight scene later on the show, so just as a precaution, I've added fighting dialouge in her lines. (Voice Range: Medium-high to medium)

Mina is Kana's twin sister. She is also obviously half-mermaid and half-vampire. Between the two of them, Mina is more outgoing. She will do anything for fun, even if it meant causing a bit of trouble for Shido. When she comes in contact with water, it will cause her to grow, giving her the appearance of a young adult. (Original form voice range): Child-like to Medium-high voice range. (Young adult form voice range): Medium-high to Medium

There are only a few things that best sum up Lila. She's Juri's sister, a witch, a magician, and has a sister complex. Early in the series, Lila is shown to have some resentment towards her sister even though she loves her very much. Personality wise, she is a bit cold towards the people she meets until she gets to know them better. She will then act a little more friendly. Later on in the series, her personality will change to reflect her sister's. (Voice range: Medium-high to Medium *I want her voice to resemble Lust from Fullmetal Alchemist but feel free to experiment with this character*)

Hime is a very kind and forgiving young girl who is also the mayor of Sakurashin. She is devoted to the town and its citizens that she has sworn to protect since she was a child. Personality wise, there are times when she is serious and a bit harsh, especially when it comes to her job, but most of the time she'll goof off which ticks off some of her friends. She also has a huge appetite and sometimes talks with food in her mouth so expect a bit of that in the show. (Voice range: Medium-high to Medium)
(With food in her mouth) Kyousuke, shut your face! I can do my job just fine thank you!
Don't worry little one~. The people in this town are very nice! E-except for that guy over there. He's kind of an ass.

Yae is the land goddess of Sakurashin. She is usually dressed as a nun who wields two katana swords beside her waist. She is usually conservative but she has a fondness of bears and plush toys and will stop dead in her tracks to cuddle them. This sometimes applies to her big brother and some of the other female characters. She cares for the people of Sakurashin just like Hime. Also, just like some of the other girls, she can be a bit provocative. (Voice Medium-High to Medium)

Shido is a caring man who works for the police in Sakurashin. He is usually carefree but in a pinch, he will jump into the fray to help his family and friends. He cares for both Kana and Mina like they were his own children. Because of how he looks and acts, people mistake him for a old man but he's really 28 years old. (Voice range: Medium-low to Low)
Not that I mind of course, but if I didn't know any better, I'd say you were starting the party without me.
Mina! Stop bothering Kana! You know she's fragile.

Not much is known about Eiji other than the fact that he is half-yokai. He doesn't speak much but if his friends are in danger he doesn't hesitate to help. (Voice range: Medium to Medium-low)

Kana is a child who is half-mermaid and half-vampire. She is also has a twin sister named Mina. Unlike Mina, she is shy and is almost easily frightened. She also treats everyone with a little bit more honesty and respect than her sister. When she comes in contact with blood, she will grow to the appearance of a young adult. (Original form voice range): Child-like to Medium-high voice range. (Young adult form voice range): Medium-high to Medium
