Hi, I'm Luke Hill and I'm going to be doing an animated series on YouTube starting somewhere within the next 3-4 years. One of the episodes I'm planning is YouTube themed and I need the following YouTubers for the series. Some, I may cut out if I don't get auditions for them. Unless someone knows a person on here who can do it, or can connect me to that person somehow, I have no choice. As most of these projects do, mine included a few rules and guidelines to follow.
1. No intentional spamming. I read my inbox pretty quickly and I will contact you within 48-36 hours of your audition, so don't worry if I don't get to you right away. My point for the rule is I don't want 50 messages from you and have to swim through those messages to get to the audition itself. I love messages and comments, but don't over do it.
2. Keep the chat and comments pretty. No hatred toward anyone for auditioning, and no swearing each other out. We all deserve to be treated as equals, so treat them in a kind manner.
3. As far as recording goes, a great quality microphone is recommended, but I will accept moderate to good quality as well. Blue-Yeti, BLue Snowball, and Shure are great resources when thinking about the microphone to use, but they can run you pretty high for money. Logitech or usb microphones are good to use to and I'll accept those. If you're interested in good quality and don't ahve a lot, here's a link listing the best cheap and affordable microphones out there. The link also gives a tutorial for a pop-filter which I also recommend you check out. :) https://music.tutsplus.com/tutorials/10-best-affordable-microphones-for-the-home-studio--audio-25
4. You can audition as much as necessary, but don't go overboard with it. There's a fine line between auditioning and posting a fixed audition afterwards, and spamming. If I haven't gotten to you, which is rare, then wait. I will eventually give you feedback. If you don't get the part, don't feel too bad because I may have something else in mind for you later.
5. Most importantly, have fun with it. You have tons of time to get your voice out so spend as much of it as you can practicing, and auditioning. That makes it stress free and less time consuming for you. ;) Good luck to you all, and thank you for reading.
By the way, I'll post an explainer vid for those who want it. I might be able to explain the rule better there.
