We run a YouTube channel covering Bigfoot — the sightings, the stories, the footage that doesn't have a clean explanation, and the people who've spent years looking for answers in places most people wouldn't go alone...
The tone sits somewhere between campfire storytelling and investigative documentary, and we're looking for a voice that makes people feel like they're deep in the woods at 2am whether they're watching from their couch or not.
The work is three videos per week from finished scripts. You'll need to carry weight and atmosphere. It should sound SUPER natural.
These are stories told with genuine conviction and the narration needs to match that. The ideal voice is deep, unhurried, and grounded. The kind of voice that's been outside. That knows what silence in a forest actually sounds like. Think less true crime podcast host, more guy who's spent real time in the backcountry and has a healthy respect for what's out there.
Lumberjack energy is the vibe. Rugged, no-nonsense, completely unfazed by the subject matter. You don't oversell it. You just tell it straight and let the stories do the work.
What matters most is that the read feels lived-in and real. We need a clean recording setup, and reliable turnaround.
We're not looking for a one-off. This is a long-term collaboration. We want someone who grows with the channel, develops a voice audiences come back for, and is in it for the long haul. If that sounds like you, this is an ongoing paid role with rate open to discussion.
