The latest in a long line of international cat burglars, Selina Kyle is also known as the beautiful and bombastic Catwoman. When not attending lavish galas in the name of the Kyle Wildlife Conservancy, Selina can be found surrounding herself with her pride of exotic cats, or else robbing the rich and undeserving of their ill-gotten gains. Slinky, sly, and sultry, Selina oozes sex appeal, and wields her knowledge of it as well as she does her whip and razor-sharp claws.
Voice should be medium to low, mid-20’s. French accent. Husky, akin to Eartha Kitt or Kathleen Turner in Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Punctuated with cat-like sounds when she dons her costume.
[SELINA, gentle laugh] Chéri, I am the chairperson of a Wildlife Conservancy. Rare animals are my passion, my one true love. And what could be rarer than an animal that is already extinct? I may focus my attention on trying to preserve those species under threat, but there is still much to learn from those that have already left this world.
[CATWOMAN, purring] Why hello, mon beau. It’s about time you showed up. I’ve been expecting you.
[CATWOMAN, insistent] We can’t let that philistine get away with the lynx! I’m not going to let him destroy it just so his mother can stick it in her jewelry box!
An avid aficionado of all things batty, Kirk Langstrom works as a paleontologist at the Gotham Museum of Natural History. He’s also well aware that the Robinson Park Zoo is concealing some very unusual and dangerous specimens. Langstrom is a dedicated family man, and hopes his research into how bats echolocate can help his blind daughter, Becky. Excitable and cursed with a bad habit of rambling, Langstrom possesses a keen intellect and powers of observation. Think Matt Smith in Doctor Who.
Voice should be high to medium, late 20’s to mid-30’s. American accent.
Ladies and gentlemen, ah, thank you so much for attending this event. It does my heart good to see so many notable people taking time out from their busy schedules to learn about our work here. I'm sure I speak for everyone at the Gotham Museum of Natural History when I say that it means the world to us.
[frantic] This is all just some big joke to someone, I see! Who would do this? Francine, where are you? Oh, there you are, dear. Please, let my wife through. Please, everyone, please, move out of the way. My daughter’s blind, please let them through.
[gently] Hello, friends. Oh, they have you cooped up in these awful cupboards. You should be free, flying in the night. I’m sorry. I just need to take a little sample here… Dead skin will do…
Tasked with handling the corporate side of the Kyle Wildlife Conservancy, Karl is the long-suffering brother of socialite Selina Kyle, and is frequently left in the lurch by her carefree behavior and disregard for proper protocol, which may be a credit to his patience and dry sense of humor. A consummate professional who never lets his feelings hinder him. Has a subdued crush on Bruce Wayne.
Voice should be medium to low, mid-to-late 20’s. French accent.
[angry] Absolutely not! The animals of the conservancy are under our protection. They are rare and unique specimens - not commodities to be lent out to Dinah Drake for use in some puerile action film.
[sarcastic] Oh yes, the relationship status of the most gorgeous man alive is far more important than the conservancy. How silly of me to think otherwise!
[flirtatious] A true pleasure to meet you, Bruce. Selina’s told me all about you.
Head keeper at Robinson Park Zoo, Harrison Wells almost single-handedly revitalized the ailing institution, saving it from closure. His acquisitions include a particularly smart gorilla (his personal pride and joy) and a pair of rare bats with supersonic cries, which remain hidden from the general public. Charismatic and savvy, he is also a reserved and guarded individual who keeps watch over his animals like a hawk.
Voice should be medium to low, mid-to-late 30’s. American accent.
Thank you. Seems the director finally realized he needed a head zookeeper who doesn’t think Pongo and Pan are just movie characters. [laughs]
[frustrated, muttering] Bats, bats, bats! Mention them anymore and he’d sprout fur and wings. One of those devils could bite his face clean off and he’d go, “Phwoar! Saliva sample!”
[alarmed] Oh, God, where are the earplugs? And the shovel? Bat-brain’s going to get himself killed!
A Senegalese pirate with a vicious streak a mile wide, Omobolanle is hell-bent on recapturing the ruby lynx from the Americans that stole it. He intends to cut the bones down into jewelry and make a pretty penny. Catwoman mutilates his face when he holds her hostage. Dangerous, distrustful, vain, driven by greed, and with a pronounced sadistic edge, like a more extreme version of Barkhad Abdi in Captain Phillips.
Voice should be medium-low to low, mid-30’s to late-40’s. Despite the "Ghanaian" listing, a broad African accent will suffice.
[pleased] Ah, beautiful! Feel the quality of that ruby. This will make a wonderful trinket for my mother. A necklace perhaps, once it has been carved down.
I don’t need to fire anything. [perversely eager] A harpoon will do plenty of damage when wielded by hand!
[infuriated] How can I show my face back in the capital now? I have been despoiled by that harpy’s claws! My standing shall be forever damaged.

[loudly] Stand down, I know her! [brusquely, to CATWOMAN] You have the lynx?
I still think it would be wise to return to land, my captain. Have someone in the capital attend to this.
