Woodland: A Roblox Film Series
Project Overview
Please read before submitting:
UPDATE: You do not need a Roblox account but if you do, and you want to help with filming let me know.
Please provide a discord username alongside your submission.
This project is rated PG-13 (Occasional mild swear)
The script is in early development and may take a while to finish.
Each episode will be (hopefully) 15-30 minutes long.
I will upload more roles as needed.

Lori is a wise protagonist. She and her dad just moved to Canada from Nevada, but only for the remainder of this Winter. They live in a remote house in the forest having little contact with any nearby towns and cities. She is desperate for something to free her boredom, but what could be that relief? Towards the middle of the first episode, Lori will meet Wendi. She and Wendi hit it off and began hanging out frequently. Maybe this Winter won’t be so bad after all.
Lori will have a lot of screen time and a lot of lines. She will have quite a few episodes dedicated to her and her transition into this new way of living.

*Curious*: “Sometimes, I wonder how my life would change if I just did one thing differently. Maybe something small wouldn’t make a big impact, but what if I never lived in Nevada? What if I never ventured to Canada? These are the questions I ask myself.”
*Scared and panicked, almost to the point of crying*: “I know you’re not Wendi! What did you do to her!? Tell me now! I don’t know who the hell you think you are, but Wendi wouldn’t do this to me, and I know that for a fact.
*Neutral* “Winter was never really my favorite month. But this has got to be a new low. Canada? Really? It’s freezing up north! And my dad wonders why I get mad at him sometimes? At least he’s trying? Kind of.”
Wendi lives in a Cabin on the edge of the woods. She isn’t the easiest person to warm up to though. But Lori is different… Lori is not like everyone else. Wendi and Lori grow a strong bond but Wendi has to keep her secret. She can’t let Lori see her true colors.
Wendi will have a lot of screen time and a lot of lines. She will likely have one-two episodes digging deeper into her character and backstory.

*Comfortingly*: “Betraying a friend? That’s low. But you’d have to be a real jerk to betray the person you’ve known since you were born. I wish people weren’t so awful sometimes but I’ve been there too. I’m here for you if you need me.”
*Nervously*: “L-Lori… There’s something I’ve been meaning to tell you… I really hope you’ll forgive me for not telling you sooner but I can never let my guard down, y’know?”
*Intimidating/Scary tone (Slightly demonic): “There’s nothing else I can do. I gave you a warning, but I guess my brain has finally pushed away my morals. If you’re leaving me anyway, and you have no one to go home to, at least you’ll get a little news publicity… if they find your body that is… there’s nobody to live for, nobody to fight for, nobody to trust. Nobody loves you, nobody cares about you, and nobody ever wanted you.”
Charles is Lori’s father.
Charles will be in the majority of episodes, with a decent role in each. He will have a sufficient amount of lines.

*Angry, talking on the phone* “We’re already in Canada! I told you I didn’t want to see you for the rest of the year! No ifs ands, or buts! Goodnight!”
*Curious*: “Well who’s this you got with ya? Ain’t she a character?”
Dawna is Wendi’s sister. She constantly bickers with her older sister even though they have a moderately solid relationship.
Dawna will be heavily involved in episodes revolving around Wendi. She will have a sufficient amount of lines.

*Frustrated*: “Mom said it was your turn to take out the trash! I don’t care what you think, just clean up your own messes!”
*Excited/Oblivious*: “Wait… does that mean we’re going to be on the news!? Eek!”
Maurice is Wendi and Dawna’s mother.
Maurice will have a decent amount of lines.

*Threateningly/Yelling*: “She’s the only one left and I want her dead by tomorrow! You hear me! Good. Her perky ass better not get you caught or you’ll be our next dinner!”
*Caring*: “I know you like the kid but good things come and go. Don’t warm up to her, she’ll betray you like the rest of their kind.”
Dan is Wendi and Dawna’s father.
Dan will have a decent amount of lines.

*Ignorant/Mockingly*: “How was your day Wendi; *cuts off Wendi and continues line in a high pitched voice* ugh dad, it was fine, I’m just a lonely little teenager with no friends and no social life. Everything sucks and everyone hates me.”
*Angry*: “Oh no she did not! Wendi get here right now!”
*Angry*: “You’re supposed to get out there, do your job, and get back. Do I make myself clear?”
Pick 1-3 voice lines and read them how you like. These roles are open to any gender or age. Some cast members may receive these roles alongside a side role, or multiple background roles.
