Wolfwilde Animation Series
Project Overview
I’m looking for long term voice actors who would like to join me on the adventure of creating a supernatural/slice of life/comedy animated series. We’re going to start with shorter episodes (2-8 minutes ish) that follow the main cast of characters as they navigate college for the first time. The end goal is to move from short animated videos to full length (22 minute) episodes that revolve around the underlying supernatural plot. The shorter episodes focus more on the aspects of college life/young adulthood and are meant to be comedic and informative. It’s something to build our portfolios and have fun with. The series is rated +18 due to the mild usage of cigarettes, drugs, and alcohol, as well as mild to heavy gore and implications of sex. I love the vibes that Bobs Burgers has where it is geared towards adults but is more wholesome. That’s the sort of vibe I want to go for.
There are two main stages to the project (both are paid). The first stage is our practice stage. Since this is beginner friendly, some of us may never have had the chance to voice a character before. We’re going to start with short snippets (less than 2 minutes in length - though they will probably only be around the 30 - 60 second mark). It gives us all a chance to get to learn the workflow and you can really get down to how you want to play the character. All the practice scenes will be animated. Everyone on the main character or side character cast will get to do scenes specific to their characters. Mains will have more, and those that do side characters are invited to voice background characters for scenes that have them.
The second stage are actual episodes. Episodes will range in length, but I imagine them to be between 2 to 8 minutes in length. My personal end goal is to reach full 22 minute length episodes that follow the main, underlying plot. But for these shorter episodes, we will focus on more of the smaller things that’ll be happening. Episodes will be following the main cast, but may stray to look at some of their relationships with side characters (ex: one main cast member is a vampire, so there may be an episode revolving around him and his coven as opposed to him and the other mains on campus).
**This series is pro LGBT+! Most main characters are a flavor of queer. If that is a problem for you DO NOT AUDITION. If the idea that your character might be gay/lesbian/trans is too much to handle, please just don’t audition. Some characters are open about their sexuality and some aren’t.

Voice Actor
Age: 19
Brief background: a werewolf who’s moving out of the family home and going to college for the first time. Boy is trauma free (for the most part). He’s got good control over his werewolf transformations, but as a wolf he is very impulsive. He’s super friendly, loves squeaky toys or small creatures that make squeaking noises when being ripped apart. His favorite food is baby deer and bunnies. Argone is a bit of a hopeless romantic and has never dated before. He is excited to try meeting girls in college, though finds out he may be a tad bi-curious as well.
Argone gets along with just about everyone. He’s a bit naive and overly trusting of the world around him. Everything he’s learned about human life has come from movies and television shows. He usually finds himself in stupid and/or dangerous situations and isn’t entirely sure how that happened. He’s also really bad at flirting but he tries his best. A+ for effort.
Personality: he’s super friendly and a little goofy. He loves people and can strike up a conversation with anyone. As a wolf, his emotions are twice as strong and he has intrusive thoughts that push him to do whatever is on the forefront of his mind. He has a high prey drive and food aggression, but is still friendly towards humans. Just don’t shove your hand into his food bowl and you’ll be fine.
Voice requirements: masculine voice with an American accent. Must be able to do “intrusive thought” whispers that range from soft little whispers to harsh commands.

“Hey! It’s really good to see you again.” Tone: friendly and excited.
“You’re pretty. Wait no! You’re not pretty. No! No no! I mean the scarf-. The scarf is pretty. But you’re also … you know what I’m just gonna leave.” Tone: hopelessly fumbling while trying to compliment someone he has a little crush on.
“Kill. Maim. Maul. Destroy.” “Ball ball ball. Squeak! Make it squeak!” These would be his intrusive thoughts. I envision hearing them as persistent whispers. But I’d love to hear how you would handle them. (I hear it a bit like The Absolute from Baldurs Gate 3. Short, assertive whispers that force him to do what they say)

Age:19
Brief background: Riley grew up in a very wealthy town in Arizona. She has a good relationship with her father (mother passed away), but she hates living in his shadow. She tried college once and took a gap year after struggling with depression. During that gap year she met a girl online and the two have been secretly dating. Riley strongly supports LGBT+ rights and will physically fight anyone over it. She came to Fire Mountain University to be with her new girlfriend, using the excuse that they have a decent degree program.
Riley is a bit more on the naive side, especially with classist issues and relatively staying safe. She never had to worry about money, housing, transportation, or even folks who may seek to do her harm. Regardless, she is always open to learning more about how others live.
Personality: Riley is confident and friendly. She likes seeing the good in people, even if there’s not much left. She struggles a bit with depression, but she tries to have an outwardly smile to prevent people from noticing. She is a little naive when it comes to classist issues because she never had to worry about finances or money, but she actively makes the effort to learn about how others live.
Voice requirements: feminine but confident with an American accent

“I never saw you as a monster. Monsters hurt people. And you never did that. Although, you did massacre a small family of bunnies.” Tone: soft and sensitive, while trying to cheer up a friend.

Age: … uh. His ID says 22.
Brief background: Fox is the twin brother of Remmick. He’s a shapeshifter who’s got quite a bit of trauma and lived part time with a vampire coven that treated him like shit. He’s learned that the only thing people care about is his ability to take any form and impersonate others. If he wanted to stay alive in the coven, he had to fight tooth and claw to keep them from biting him. Which now means he has a bad habit of getting physical (hitting/shoving) if anyone bothers him. He reacts out of defense rather than malicious intent. He uses Aleksandr, the youngest vampire of the coven, as a bodyguard due to his fear of being alone. He and Alek have a discreet open relationship, but Fox more or less just uses it as bribery for whatever he wants. Fox is straight but tolerates Alek with very strict boundaries.
Personality: Fox is very social, and he’s quite excellent at manipulating people. He can be super bubbly and sweet, but he can scream and blow up in aggravation. He likes to be flirty and to blend his compliments with mockery. Every move he makes is calculated. He’s not impulsive. He knows how to convince people to do what he wants. He’s very good at reading the room and knows who tolerates his erratic behavior and who doesn’t. He can be very docile and calm when around folks who don’t like high energy individuals.
Voice requirements: Fox has the biggest range out of everyone. His voice is masculine with an American accent.

Age: 25ish
Brief background: a Russian sailor who shipwrecked in the late 1800s. He was the first to go insane and try to cannibalize his crew mates when food ran out. His bloodlust summoned a vampire who welcomed him with open arms into his coven. Aleksandr is the youngest vampire of the coven. He’s very openly bisexual. He very much became co-dependent to Fox after they met as Fox keeps him well fed in exchange for protection. He is a bit obsessive over Fox (he fears losing a good food source and likes Fox’s shapeshifting abilities) and the two have a very discreet, open relationship. He’s very much aware that the relationship is one sided and that Fox uses his emotions to bribe him into protecting and serving him. Alek doesn’t care. He likes the attention and the fact that Fox gets into trouble and feeds him his enemies.
Personality: Alek left his humanity years ago. He can be mean spirited and views anyone outside his coven as livestock (including other vampires and supernaturals). The only non-friend folks he treats with respect are those he’s attracted to, and it’s not because he values them as a person. He’s manipulative of his prey, trying to keep them close to him to have an easy kill. He does have a sweet side with his coven and his friends. He suffers from mood swings when he’s hungry and can get quite angry.
Voice requirements: Aleksandr has a masculine voice with a mild to heavy Russian accent. English is a second language for him, so sometimes he drops articles and/or conjunctions. Every once in a while he’ll forget a word and may fumble.

Age: he tells people he’s 22 because that’s what Fox says and they’re twins so they’d have to be the same age
Brief background: Ren is very quiet about what he is, but you get the suspicion that he’s not entirely human. He avoids that topic. He grew up struggling to mask his neurodivergent tendencies. He and his twin brother Fox stuck together like glue. But after Fox made a deal with a grand devil, the boys were separated. Ren, using his outwardly large appearance, turned into a bodyguard. Which was a great job because it meant he didn’t have to talk to people. He also has a pet horse on campus. And he very, VERY much hates vampires. Ren is straight and asexual.
Personality: Ren is quiet and shy. He’s also very anxious about everything. He loves being near people, but not interacting with people. He’s like a cat that likes to be in the same room as you and occasionally meow for attention. He is also a gym bro and a huge animal lover
Voice requirements: Ren has a deeper, masculine voice with an American accent. He’s more monotone and has a hard time relaying emotion through words.
** Ren, even though present in a lot of scenes, has the least amount of lines. He’s relatively quiet unless the scene specifically revolves around him. In episodes where he is the main character we will hear his thoughts and those thoughts do not shut up.
