Wings of Fire Graphic Novel Dub: Book 1 Part 2
Project Overview
🎙️ WINGS OF FIRE: BOOK 1 (PART TWO) - COMIC DUB PROJECT 🎙️
Presented by CalebVA
Hey there! I'm CalebVA, a rookie voice actor who’s passionate about editing and bringing stories to life through voice and visuals. I’ve worked on several comic dubs and creative projects, and I’m super excited to kick off a full comic dub adaptation of Wings of Fire: Book 1 (Part TWO) — the start of an epic fantasy adventure filled with dragons, destiny, and danger!
This project will be a full-length comic dub, aiming to bring the world of Pyrrhia to life with engaging voice acting, sound design, and visual editing.
🔊 WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR:
I’m casting voice actors for all major and supporting roles, and I’m hoping to build a solid team of reliable, talented VAs to bring these characters to life. If you love dragons, fantasy stories, and collaborative storytelling, this is your chance to join a passionate project from the ground up!
📌REQUIREMENTS & RULES
✅ Please submit clean recordings on a decent mic.
✅ Cut your lines to your best or favorite takes.
✅ Submit your recordings as ONE .wav file.
✅ Must have a Discord account – All project coordination and updates will happen there.
✅ Respect the deadline – Timely submissions keep the project moving smoothly.
⚠️ If you consistently delay turning in lines, you will be dropped from the project.
⚠️ I may ask for a few re-dos, but I’ll keep this to a minimum. Your time is valuable, and I’ll only ask if necessary.
💬 Let me know if you’re willing to voice extras as well!
🎯 This is a long-term project, so if you’re open to voicing in future parts or possibly Book 2, please indicate that in your submission!
🎭 CHARACTER AUDITIONS
Read the character descriptions carefully before auditioning! Every dragon has a distinct voice, personality, and role in the story, so bring your best interpretation to the table. I am open to original takes on the characters or trying to match the same voice from the audiobooks.
Whether you're new to voice acting or a seasoned pro, this is a great opportunity to collaborate, create, and have fun in the world of Wings of Fire. I can't wait to hear your voices bring these characters to life.

She is also fierce, sensible, unrepentant, strange, matter-of-fact, proud, bold, loyal, loving, sarcastic, curious, prone to rage, stubborn, and hopeful. She is neither clever nor subtle, and she often tackles problems by approaching them directly. She has an astoundingly fierce lack of stealth, often making excessive noise, picking fights, or accidentally blowing something up. She has a strong personality, which is often met with dislike from other dragons; however, she often attempts to be polite, and she feels devastated when her actions negatively affect those she loves

No one else wants me. No one can even touch me. You saw that. I was born with too much fire. Usually when dragons like me hatch, the SkyWings drop them off at the highest mountain peak. That's what my mother was going to do, but Queen Scarlet saved me and killed her to punish her.
I call upon the tradition of the Champion's Shield. It says the queen's champion may stand forth for any dragon sentenced to execution. If I can defeat the next dragon you set me to fight, you must let her go free. I want to stand for my mother."
Her Majesty said I might as well follow my true nature. That's how she raised me letting me be myself, giving me dragons to kill. Maybe you'd feel better if you could be who you really are.

(Angry.) Come on fight like a fair warrior!
(Boastful.) I aim to gain my freedom in this arena, you will be no match for me.
(Snort’s.) I expected better from a weakling such as you, I guess I was wrong for once.

Your Majesty, the facts are clear. You gave an order. Kestrel disobeyed you and fled the kingdom. She has been living under your mountains for the last seven years, aiding and abetting the Talons of Peace, who also refuse to follow Your Majesty's orders. She deserves a long, painful execution. There is no need to drag this trial out.
(Announcing a fight) After four wins, Horizon the SandWing — formerly, and unwisely, a soldier in Blaze's army — has been challenged to a match with the Queen's Champion, Peril. Claws up, fire ready! Fight!
(Announcing) After last month's battle with Blaze's army, our queen's dungeons were stuffed with IceWing prisoners of war. Only nine have survived. After two wins, I give you — Fjord of the IceWings! And in this corner, an unusual case — a MudWing, but not one of our allies. No, this dragonet was found hiding under our mountains, protected by the Talons of Peace. Is he one of the dragonets of destiny? Not if he loses this battle! If these prophesied dragonets are as wonderful and legendary as they're supposed to be, this should be a showdown to remember. I hope you're prepared to impress us, dragon of the mud. I present to you ... Clay of the MudWings! Claws up, teeth ready! Fight!
Osprey was a kind, intelligent, and mellow dragon compared to other SkyWings. He chose to befriend Peril instead of fearing her like most dragons, teaching her about SkyWing laws, policies, and traditions.

Your Majesty, I do have one or two words to say in this prisoner's defense.
Forgive me, Your Majesty. I must speak. Kestrel was one of your most loyal soldiers. She was sent through the breeding program, on your orders, and brought forth one egg. Upon hatching, it turned out to hold twin dragonets.
You told your guards I know, for I was one of them to kill the other dragonet and take Kestrel back for trial. She tried to grab her daughter and fly away, but the heat of the dragonet's scales burned her talons before she was a wingbeat into the sky, and she had to drop her. She fled, leaving her only living dragonet at your mercy.
Burn is described as one of the most dangerous dragons in Pyrrhia, and she made the world a more dangerous place. She was monstrous, impatient, strong, scary, creepy, cruel, merciless, crazy, and controlling. She was described as the biggest, scariest, and meanest of the rival sisters

I don't care. No prophecy decides what happens to me. I'm not letting a bunch of words or baby dragons decide when I die or what I bow to. We can have peace when my sisters are dead and I am queen of the SandWings
"The world doesn't need a prophecy. It needs me as Queen of the SandWings."
The supposed new queen of the SkyWings is a bore and a nuisance. She wants to 'restore order in the Sky Kingdom' and 'establish the stability of her own throne' before engaging in any more battles at my side. She's even more difficult than her annoying mother, and she follows orders very poorly, if at all. We haven't had a satisfying battle in weeks. I'm considering getting rid of her.
