Wings of Fire Animated
Project Overview
WoF Animated is a non profit project based on the books of Wings of Fire. We hope to make a show out of these books, and make the characters come to life with the power of animation and voices!
Many voices are currently closed, though many other very helpful roles such as artists, animators, musicians, and sound effects artists are open!

Umber is caring, loyal, and observant, and is very kind to his loved ones. He is constantly relieved that the war is over, but still wants to keep them safe. He is clays brother.

Concept artists will help out with various designs, including characters, backgrounds, and more! In applications, you must have dragon drawings, and the art must be high quality.

Rough animators will animate the details and get the basic movement in animation so that final animators can easily line and color the works! Applications for this role must include animations of animals or dragons, be high quality, and have lots of movement. 2D Animation only!

Story-boarders get the rough scenes drawn down. This often includes litre to no movement, only including the important parts of the story so that it can be understood. Applications for this role must include a full storyboard and be high quality.

Musicians or composers will be in charge of making theme songs for various characters, as well as making music for the overall series. Application for this role must include wordless music. No modern or futuristic music such as rock, pop, or electric is allowed. Please only submit medieval-style music.

Fjord is an icewing who fought in scarlets arena. He was a skilled fighter, and was intent on surviving the battles. He did not hesitate to attack his opponents, even dragonets.

Hvitur is a icewing who will be starting the first episode of our show, sadly having a small amount of time on screen.

Grouchy, tough, and hard-headed, Dune is one of the guardians that raised the dragonets.

Well isn’t this thrilling? Queen scarlet is the main villain of book one. She is violent, manipulative, and malicious. She also happens to be very egotistical and jeweled, loving her treasure.

Tsunami is a fierce, brave, and loyal main protagonist of the series. She loves her friends no matter what, and will do all she can to protect them. (Please note that she is the main character of the second book)

Starflight is a sensible, tentative, and knowledge seeking main protagonist. He absolutely loves a good scroll— or a hundred. (Please note that he is the main character of the fourth book and an important character elsewhere)

Osprey is a wingless senior skywing who is wise, kind, and mellow. He chose to befriend peril and teach her things like reading and history, instead of fearing her like the others.

Cattail, the mother of clay, is lazy, careless, and irresponsible. She sold clays egg to the Talons of Peace for two cows, and doesn’t really care about clay or any of her children.

Blister is cunning, controlling, and very manipulative. She is one of the candidates to being the next sandwing queen, and is described by starflight to probably try to take over the rest of the tribes. She despises her sisters, and believes she should be queen because she was about to challenge her mother to the throne before she died.

Vermillion is the prince of SkyWings, and loyal to his mother, queen scarlet. This loyalty is born out of fear though, as he has watched many of his siblings die at her hands. He is cowardly and fairly weak.
