Project Overview
“Where the Willow Knows” is a historical fiction novel set in the late 14th century England. It surrounds the lives of childhood friends Agnes Beaumont and Léonin Cantrell. They live carefree lives, falling in love –unbeknownst to them–, until Agnes is sent to France for a chance at a better life than what her bustling village of York has to offer. When she returns at 18, she finds a beautiful willow tree planted on the hill she and Léonin used to spend their time. Only now, Léonin is the King’s head guard. And the King asks for Agnes’s hand in marriage. With growing tensions overseas and now within the castle walls, what will be their fates?

What I’m Looking For: I’m looking for an artist with a semi-realistic style–realistic and detailed enough to be pleasing but still maintaining that cozy fictional look. I will NOT respond and/or reach out to any cartoony styles, anime styles, and other styles that do not match my vision. With this in mind, please respond to this role with links/pictures of your artwork and any other details you’d like to share.

For now, I’m unsure whether to have only one narrator for the entire audiobook, or multiple people to give life to each character. If you are interested though, feel free to comment under this role with a demo and/or description of your work! I am open to any accents/genders, but a clear, female voice with a british accent would be ideal.
