Just to say, in this description it'll sound like they're going through absolute hell. Which is not entirely the case, since I'll try to largely make it family friendly and a comedy!! (Apart a few episodes)
I'm making an indie child-teen educational series about mental health, that's gonna be on YouTube about 2 engaged Anthro Animals (a cat and a dog to be specific) called moonlight and max who travel across wildly different universes, searching for a portal that leads back home! They'll go into weird, funny, traumatic, but also largely colorful and happy universes during the journey!! While trying to find a portal that leads back home to earth, they don't just have fun every single episode (though a large amount), they also face problems like hunger, thirst & tiredness.
But they also have to face themselves & their own problems they've been avoiding for years
Max is autistic and hates change, which is bad for him because they are in a completely different universe, Moonlight has PTSD & ADHD which makes it extremely difficult to function sometimes.
They both have their own trauma and go through a lot to recover during the series.
What happened to both of them won't be revealed here, but at the end they get a happy ending!
Just so you know, realism for me is extremely important. While I was coming up with the idea of this series, all I could think about was how in other series or movies, plot armor, the way they're always completely fine when going into a new environment and how they're completely fine the next episode is always the case. I wanted to change that to make it more realistic.
They'll get a bunch of scars, trauma and loose and gain trust throughout literally every single episode! They have to get used to their environment, new life, and how they'll most likely won't find anything to eat that day.,.
There'll be a lot of goofy shit in between tho lmao

He was then adopted by an old Tortoise couple at 7 years old. He didn't have friends until 8th grade where he met Max Aswellon and Bearton Wellow for the first time. A year later, he started dating Max, and they have been together ever since. (10-11 years) Max proposed a year ago btw!
He gets frequent panic and ptsd episodes every time anything with fire gets mentioned, even just smoke can trigger a reaction
During the traumatic event, he hit his head on a car from an explosion (I won't elaborate, you'll see it when the episode releases) and might have a mild traumatic brain injury (tbi) because of it
(Which the symptoms may worsen over the series because he can't go to rehabilitation in different universes)

He's a gay Japanese 26 year old Dog that grew up a bit in Japan but moved to Switzerland! He has a big brother called Vector but they haven't talked in years, and that's partially because he literally stopped talking.

He grew up only with his mother and big brother, his mother was abusive & manipulative. He'd cry in his room all day, until Vector came to comfort him. Until one day... Which I'll not spoil here! If you really want to know you have to wait till the episode comes.
Vector never spoke again after that day, & Max swore to never talk positively about his mother again.
His mother also has a really strong belief of God (IF THIS SOUNDS DISRESPECTFUL I AM EXTREMELY SORRY. I'm trying, & if it comes off as something else please tell me respectfully), and thinks everyone who didn't believe in him would burn in hell, or also that every sin someone committed would get them into hell, and it's unfortunate she is also transphobic and homophobic. Max spent most of his life in the closet, thinking it wasn't right he liked men. Until moonlight helped him overcome it!

After a failed job as an astronomer, he got suggested a job at the SPAIA (Supernatural protection and investigation agency) and he's been doing that behind everyones backs for years, because the person in charge threatened to kill him if he didn't... So yeah

I'm not gonna go into detail, but she thought she was: straight (because she THOUGHT (just a thought lmao) she didn't like women), then lesbian (because she didn't like men), then aroace because she didn't like people romantically or the other way!

So here's what you would do:
You'd watch the finished episode and try to see if there could be a trigger in it. Like for example: blood, bloody scars, heavy breathing, chewing (can both be a misophonia trigger!!), eyestrain, trauma, anxiety attacks, etc. that I might've missed while animating, or don't see as a trigger.

With every episode that has flashing lights, doesn't matter if this role already viewed it or not, will have a trigger warning and the exact moment when it is on screen. (There most likely won't be any or at least not a lot of flashing lights tho! And that number would decrease even more if someone with epilepsy works on this.)
