Welcome to the Lands Between

Welcome to the Lands Between

Project Overview

We are working on an Elden Ring-themed parody of Bo Burnham's Welcome to the Internet. In our version, White Mask Varré addresses the Tarnished with some lore bits and jokes.

As of right now, the lyrics are complete, the arrangement and art are in progress, and we're looking for a lead singer to create a recognizable Varré impression.

The song will be posted on YouTube and advertised on Reddit, Twitter, and Tumblr. You will be credited on all platforms.

Please note that this is a fan project, and the role is unpaid.

If you have any questions, message us here or on Discord (@MagicMashka0764).

As we work on the project, we will mostly talk and share files on Discord.

We are looking for a lead to portray Varré from whose POV the song is written. Please audition if you'd like to sing as a sly, sarcastic, and just a tiny bit sadistic character.

The preferred range is baritone (G2 - B♭3), but the song can be transposed if needed. Vibes are our priority, so we'll gladly consider your audition if you're a good voice actor with a different vocal timbre. If you are not familiar with the game but still interested in the role, you can find voice reference here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yp6mfzUQlfM

For this audition, please sing any part of Bo Burnham's Welcome to the Internet emulating Varre's tone and, preferably, voice. You can audition with a song you already know and feel more comfortable singing; however, this one is the base for the parody song and a better showcase.

Make sure your microphone is capable of recording your performance without picking up overwhelming background noises or excessive peaking/clipping.
