Project Overview
I'm working on an announcement for my next webnovel project, and some scope creep-induced compulsion wants me to have an announcement feature some VO from the protagonists as a way to make a promotion I can use in advertisements.
You would be speaking two lines total (These are in the audition), basically for a "Before"/"After" for the character you audition for due to them having an altered state of mind at times. You will see what I mean if you're selected.
This is my first time hiring a voice artist. I usually only commission visual artists.
$40 is the flat rate (Effectively $20 per line) but there may be gratuity depending on quality.
The audition lines will be the same as the actual lines used. I do not expect the audition lines to be perfect. If you are selected, you'll be provided with character reference art so that you can give it a better go with a visualized appearance. You have my word audition recordings will not be used.

Depending on success of the project, there may be future performances available. There are zero promises on that.
Voice Actor
Lead character. Young adult male, ~22-24. Lives on the border between Socal and southern Nevada in a town with a population of 500. Nerdy, hesitant, tepid. Has another state of mind where he indulges in his nerdy power fantasies, where he speaks in a far more intense voice. You would just be recording a couple of lines for a character reveal.

Voice Actor
Navajo woman, aged approximately early 20s. Firm, assured, confident-sounding. An almost Conan the Barbarian-esque stoicism and sternness. Takes on another personality that is far more savage and morbidly excited.
