(FANDUB) Precure: Reimagined (All Seasons) CURES ONLY

Project Overview

Welcome to the Precure Reimagined Project!

Thank you for joining us on an incredible journey to bring the magic of Pretty Cure (Precure) to a global audience. In our fandub project, we strive to recreate the vibrant world of Precure while capturing the spirit of the original anime that has captivated audiences for nearly two decades. The franchise, an iconic part of the magical girl genre, emphasizes friendship, courage, hope, and the power that comes from believing in oneself. With each season, a new cast of characters, worlds, and villains are introduced, giving fans endless stories of bravery and kindness. We’re excited to breathe new life into these stories, honoring their legacy while adding our unique interpretations of beloved characters.

Our Vision and Goals

At its core, this fandub project is a labor of love, created by fans for fans. Our primary goal is to make the Precure series more accessible to an international audience, capturing the beauty and emotion of the original Japanese version in a way that connects with viewers worldwide. The Pretty Cure franchise has left a significant impact on its audience, often conveying important messages of teamwork, empathy, and resilience. By creating this fandub, we aim to preserve these themes while bridging cultural gaps, allowing more people to experience and appreciate the magic of Precure.

Why Precure?

Pretty Cure has been a vital part of the magical girl genre since 2004. Known for its engaging storylines and multidimensional characters, the franchise has created a universe that’s inclusive and empowering, inspiring people of all ages. Our fandub allows us to explore these timeless themes while celebrating the unique world of each Precure series. From action-packed battles to heartwarming friendship moments, we are committed to capturing everything that makes Precure special, connecting fans of all backgrounds with stories that resonate on a personal level.

The Significance of a Fandub

Fandubs allow fans to take a hands-on approach to storytelling, giving voice to characters and stories that inspire them. For us, dubbing Precure is a chance to pay tribute to a series that has impacted our lives. We believe this project will not only celebrate the essence of Pretty Cure but also inspire a new generation of fans. By inviting our community to participate and contribute creatively, we’re fostering a space where everyone has a voice, just as each Cure in the Precure series brings something valuable to the team.

About Our Team

Our team is a collective of passionate creators, each bringing a unique skill set and love for Precure. From experienced voice actors and sound designers to newcomers eager to learn, we have built a supportive environment where creativity and collaboration flourish. Our team includes writers, audio engineers, editors, and project managers, all dedicated to producing a high-quality dub that honors the source material while making it accessible to fans who may be discovering the franchise for the first time. We are thrilled to welcome you into our community and look forward to creating something truly magical together.

The Role of Each Team Member

Every role within our team is essential to the success of this project. Voice actors breathe life into the characters, creating a connection with the audience. Writers and translators capture the essence of each storyline and adapt it for a diverse audience, staying true to the tone and emotions of the original scripts. Sound designers and editors bring the entire project together, layering voices with background music and sound effects to enhance the story’s immersive quality. Whether you’re joining as a voice actor, scriptwriter, or sound editor, know that your contribution plays an integral role in bringing Precure’s world to life.

Casting Call: Who We’re Looking For

Our casting call is open to a variety of roles across the Precure universe. From the brave Cures who embody heroism and kindness to the quirky and memorable villains who pose unique challenges, each character presents a fantastic opportunity for actors to showcase their talent. We’re looking for individuals who can capture each character’s essence, adding their personal interpretation while respecting the character’s original spirit. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Precure or just discovering it, if you have a passion for storytelling and voice acting, we invite you to audition for a role that resonates with you.

Audition Guidelines

We’re committed to making the audition process smooth, welcoming, and fair for everyone. To ensure that each applicant has the opportunity to shine, we’ve outlined some key guidelines:

  1. Audio Quality: Clear and high-quality audio is essential. We ask that you submit recordings free from background noise, as this allows us to hear your performance clearly. A quiet environment and good microphone setup will greatly enhance your submission.

  2. Character Interpretation: We encourage each applicant to bring their unique interpretation to the character they’re auditioning for. Feel free to experiment with different tones, accents, and styles that you think best capture the character’s personality, while staying true to their defining traits.

  3. Positive Environment: Respect for fellow auditioners and team members is paramount. We’re all here to celebrate our shared love for Precure, and maintaining a positive and supportive community is a priority throughout the project.

Bringing the Characters to Life

Precure characters are as diverse as they are inspiring, each with a unique journey, strengths, and personality. From the compassionate and courageous leaders to the endearing and determined teammates, each Cure brings something special to their group. Our goal is to honor these distinctive personalities, ensuring that every character feels authentic and relatable. By casting voice actors who understand and appreciate each character’s story, we hope to bring the characters of Precure to life in a way that resonates deeply with fans, capturing the joy, humor, and depth that have made these characters so beloved.

Script Adaptation: Preserving the Heart of Precure

Adapting the script is one of the most challenging and rewarding parts of the project. Our writing team works meticulously to translate each episode, staying as close to the original Japanese dialogue as possible while making adjustments to help the story resonate with our target audience. This process involves careful consideration of cultural references, character nuances, and emotional tones. We strive to create a script that captures the heart of each episode while making it accessible and meaningful to viewers around the world.

The Importance of Cultural Sensitivity

Precure is a uniquely Japanese series, filled with cultural nuances that give it a distinct charm. As we adapt the script, we’re committed to preserving these cultural elements wherever possible, while also making the dialogue accessible to an international audience. Our goal is to maintain the series’ authenticity, allowing viewers to experience the original essence of Precure while creating a bridge that enables deeper understanding and appreciation of its cultural context.

Recording Sessions: Crafting Authentic Performances

Once casting is complete, our team will move into the recording phase. Recording sessions will be conducted primarily online, allowing us to bring together talent from different locations. In these sessions, directors will work closely with voice actors to capture the heart of each scene, offering guidance on tone, emotion, and pacing. Our approach is highly collaborative, encouraging actors to ask questions, try different interpretations, and ultimately bring their unique perspectives to the characters they portray.

Editing and Sound Design: Creating an Immersive Experience

After recording, our post-production team will begin the process of editing and sound design. This stage is essential in bringing the audio and visual elements of Precure together, ensuring that the final product is polished, seamless, and immersive. Editors work meticulously to synchronize voice lines with the animation, add sound effects, and layer in background music, creating a cohesive and engaging experience that transports viewers into the world of Precure.

Quality Control: Ensuring Excellence in Every Episode

Quality control is a crucial part of our process, as it ensures that every episode meets our high standards. Before releasing each episode, our team will carefully review the final product, checking for consistency, clarity, and overall quality. This process includes reviewing audio levels, adjusting timing, and making final edits to ensure that each scene flows naturally. Our commitment to quality is a reflection of our dedication to the fans and our respect for the Precure series.

Why Dubbing Matters

Dubbing Precure into multiple languages allows us to share its powerful messages with a broader audience. By creating a fandub, we can make the series more accessible to viewers who may not be familiar with Japanese, while preserving the emotional depth and impact of the original storyline. Dubbing is about more than translation—it’s about capturing the soul of a story and conveying it in a way that resonates universally.

Growing the Precure Fanbase

One of our hopes for this project is to introduce Precure to new fans. Through our fandub, we aim to attract viewers who may be unfamiliar with the series, inspiring them to explore the world of Precure and connect with its empowering themes. By reaching a wider audience, we can help expand the fanbase, fostering a community that appreciates and supports the series.

Collaborating with the Community

Community engagement is a vital part of our project. We believe that fan projects like this are an opportunity to connect with people who share our passion, fostering a sense of belonging and collective enthusiasm. We encourage fans to join us on this journey, share their thoughts, and contribute their talents. Our project is a celebration of the Precure fan community, and we are excited to work with passionate individuals who want to be a part of something meaningful.

The Legacy of Precure

Precure has left a lasting legacy on its fans, providing countless stories of friendship, courage, and empowerment. By creating this fandub, we hope to honor that legacy, offering a tribute to a series that has inspired so many. Each episode, character, and transformation sequence serves as a reminder of the importance of resilience and kindness, values that transcend cultural boundaries and resonate deeply with fans worldwide.

Your Journey with Us

As a member of our team, you’re not just contributing to a fandub; you’re joining a family of creators who are passionate about making a difference. Every voice, every sound, and every line of dialogue you contribute brings us closer to our shared goal of creating something beautiful.

Rin Natsuki appears as a tomboy and plays enough sports to have every team clamoring for her to join them but has always time for her family and friends. Her parents run a flower shop which she often helps in. Her alter ego is the Cure of Passion, Cure Rouge.

Rin is a girl who displays both tomboyish and feminine traits. She has a passion for designing accessories and is responsible for creating the designs for Natts House. Rin is straightforward and down-to-earth in her personality, which contrasts with the cheerful and optimistic nature of her best friend, Nozomi Yumehara. Rin takes on a nurturing role towards Nozomi and her siblings, often acting as a big sister figure.

Although Rin is usually straightforward, she can be hot-headed, impatient, and passionate at times, which can lead to clashes with more reserved and stubborn individuals. Rin's greatest fear is losing someone she loves, which is most noticeable in her attachment to Nozomi. Additionally, Rin has a fear of unnatural things, which stems from her childhood where it took her a long time to recover after being startled by such things.

Komachi Akimoto is kind and shy, and likes to read books and write. However, once she is angered enough, she will snap and release her temper. Along with her best friend, Karen Minazuki, Komachi is also a popular senior at her school. She is a volunteer at the school library, along with Karen, and often spends her time there writing stories. Her dream is to become a writer, and she exhibits particular talent in this: though he harshly criticized about the first half of it, Natts praised her first completed story upon the seventh revision, and he does not give praise lightly. Her parents own a traditional Japanese sweetshop, which has the same name as her, Komachi. Her alter ego is the Cure of Tranquility, Cure Mint.

Komachi is known for her kind, gentle, and feminine personality. She is often lost in a daydream of romance and other fantasies while searching for inspiration for her future as a novelist. She is very kind towards others and retains a calm and peaceful nature, and is also shown to be wise and polite regardless of the situation or how angry she may be. She is also very delicate and can shut-down entirely if given even the smallest critique. She seeks approval from others and enjoys showing her work to those who are interested, using her writings to reflect her true feelings when she is unable to express them openly. Komachi can also become quite creepy when telling ghost stories, as seen in episode 27 and the movie.

Milk is a white-and-pink rabbit-like fairy in Yes! Pretty Cure 5 and GoGo!. She ends her sentences with "~miru." Unlike Coco and Nuts, she cannot transform into a human. Milk takes her role as the caretakers of the Pretty Cure seriously and learns to have faith in them, always eager to help when they struggle.

In Yes! Pretty Cure 5 GoGo!, she gains the ability to turn into a human and acquires the power of the Blue Rose after picking up a glowing blue seed and nurturing it. Her human alias is Mimino Kurumi, and she later becomes a second-year transfer student in the same class as Nozomi and Rin. Her alter ego is Milky Rose . Although she initially presents herself as Kurumi, her core personality remains unchanged, as noted by Nuts.

Milk is a strict, no-nonsense type of person when it comes to Coco and Nuts. She tries her best to watch over them so they don't make any foolish decisions. If she's unable to be with them, she starts to feel useless and worries a lot. She is unable to tolerate anyone who shows rudeness to either of the two. Initially, she would only show coldness towards anyone who was not them. She is also selfish and greedy, but as she begins to trust the Cures and befriend them, she acts less disrespectfully and learns to be kinder to others.

However, Milk is also a lot like Nozomi. She can be childish most of the time and only causes problems for others, even if it isn't her intention. As a human, she displays a much more mature side though and appears to be very selfless. But at times she could be swept up in what the girls are doing at the time.

Inori Yamabuki (also called "Buki" by her friends) is a 14-year-old student at Christian Private White Clover Academy. She has a fond for animals, and she aspires to be a veterinarian. Her Pickrun, the Kirun, is yellow and has horns on its head, and her alter ego is Cure Pine. She also is the tritagonist of the series, Fresh Pretty Cure!.

Inori may look calm and quiet, but actually suffers from low self-esteem. In order to improve herself, she joins the dancing group with her friends Love and Miki, which they called "Clover". She sometimes lacks common sense and just goes with whatever situation she finds herself in.

Inori is calm, gentle, quiet, and shy, making her stand out somewhat from the other three relatively rambunctious Fresh! Cures. She tends to worry about what others think of her, and gets embarrassed easily. She is very protective of those she cares for, though she usually prefers to avoid disputes whenever possible. While she normally goes with the flow, she can also be quick-witted and nimble when the situation calls for it. She adores animals, and aspires to become a veterinarian like her parents when she is older.

When she is first introduced, Inori is a reserved girl with low self-confidence; she seeks to improve on this aspect of herself, however, and over the course of the series is shown to grow more confident.

Setsuna Higashi is a young girl who appears to be in her late teens. She works for Labyrinth until episode 23, and is the first of the original three members to appear, as well as the only female of the group. Her Pickrun, the Akarun, has a ribbon and wings. She can transform into Eas and Cure Passion.

As Eas, Setsuna initially had a cold and calculating personality. She was quick to anger and lacked any patience. She didn't care about others' feelings and was unwaveringly loyal to Moebius. However, after befriending Love, her personality began to change. The flaws in her character started to become apparent, and her stubbornness and pride made it difficult for her to admit when she was wrong. Upon being reborn as Cure Passion, she gradually transformed. Initially shy, reserved, and anxious after joining Pretty Cure, she started to open up more thanks to her friends. Over time, she became more cheerful and energetic. Setsuna eventually evolved into a kind, patient, and intelligent person who deeply cared for those close to her. However, she found it challenging to understand social cues and Earth's customs, often approaching situations with innocent naivety.

She was burdened by guilt over her past actions while working for Labyrinth, and even though she came to terms with it over time, the feeling never completely went away. Despite her transformation since her time as Eas, her seriousness and determination remained intact, now channeled into her battles as Cure Passion.

Erika Kurumi is one of the Cures and the secondary main heroine of Heartcatch Pretty Cure!. She lives a fashion shop called "Fairy Drop", and she lives with both her parents, plus her older sister whom she is really jealous of. Her heart flower is the white cyclamen, though it can turn red if Erika experiences extreme jealousy of her older sister Momoka Kurumi. Her Cure ego is Cure Marine.

Erika is a feminine young girl who loves fashion and dreams of becoming a fashion designer. Everything she loves revolves around fashion, and she has turned it into an art form capable of helping others open up and feel their best. She is able to tell their feelings or moods using the color therapy she is going through. She is also a very fast learner and shows that when she puts her mind to things she has some skill.

Usually, she is cheery and energetic, but she has times when she can come off as selfish by acting lazy, childish, and immature. She has a short-temper and can be impatient, and she's pretty blunt and likely to be nosy when curious. This brash personality causes her to come off as abrasive towards more shy or reserved types, but at the same time she can become more mindful towards them and will always be there to comfort them should they need it. She cares deeply for her friends, even if she struggles to express it in a way that doesn't cause them further anxiety.

Despite their similarities and shared interests, Erika is very jealous of Momoka and often ignores or pushes her away as her sister attempts to help her or make suggestions. She wishes to surpass Momoka someday and would rather do it on her own then ask her for help. But over time she gradually begins to open up to her sister and grows less hostile.

She crossdresses because she chose to take the place of her older brother, Satsuki, who is too sick to act as the heir of the family dojo. Her Heart Flower is the peony, symbolizing her rebirth as a person and her noble background. Itsuki's Cure ego is Cure Sunshine.

Befitting of her image and upbringing, Itsuki is a wise and princely young woman who is very formal with others. She is calm-tempered and kind, willing to help friends and strangers alike, but she can also be stern when it's necessary and has no problem stepping in to defend those weaker than her. She is brave and compassionate, but this will not stop her from unleashing rage on those who hurt the innocent. She is strongly admired by others for her strength in character and as a person, which played a part in her struggle to find a compromise between who she thought she had to be and who she wanted to be. Itsuki has a fondness for anything cute and girly. While she is normally gentle and seems to be on the introverted side initially, she becomes excited by things like toys and clothing. Yuri Tsukikage is seen in Heartcatch Pretty Cure!, though is considered the fourth Cure to join the heroines, and throughout most of the first half of the season, she is clouded in mystery. She appears in the dreams of Tsubomi,Erika and Itsuki before they become Pretty Cure. In the series, she is the first Cure to make an appearance, her identity being Cure Moonlight. Despite being a Pretty Cure before the series started, she can't become one now because in the battle with Dark Cure, her partner, Cologne, sacrificed himself to save her and ever since she went through this painful experience of seeing her friend die for her, her heart Flower wilted completely and her heart seed broke. As a result, she was incapable of becoming a Pretty Cure. But soon, she became a Pretty Cure again and revived her legacy as Cure Moonlight after she met Colonge again as a spirit. After reasoning her and hearing her friends are in danger, she begged the Tree of hearts to let her become a Pretty Cure again and also seeing Colonge again, her Heart Flower revived too.

Yuri is calm and composed, well known for her cool attitude and her frequently chart-topping exam scores at school. She cares for little and is initially cold towards Tsubomi and Erika. After losing Cologne she became quiet and withdrawn, fearful of causing others to feel burdened by her or risk losing someone else she cherishes. She believed it would be impossible for her to become a Pretty Cure again and was deeply saddened. Before this happened, she was shown to be overly confident and bold. She wouldn't listen to Cologne when she believed she didn't need a partner for help until Cologne died for her.

Her true personality is one of contentment and maturity. She can be stubborn when she sets her mind to something but begins to open up as she spends more time with the group. She shows a more friendly side to herself by this point. Although generally mature, she can sometimes be oblivious to other's romantic feelings for her.

Kanade Minamino

Kanade excels at studies but isn't good at sports. She is popular at school and dreams of being a pâtissière when she grows up and taking over her parents' cupcake shop, the Lucky Spoon. She also has a strong love for cats and an affinity for their paws. In comparison to Hibiki, Kanade is shown to be mature and calm. She is naturally quiet, but not out of shyness; showing a temperamental side when flustered or annoyed. She is also very stubborn and struggles to admit to being wrong or at fault, and due to feelings of inadequacy, she can become competitive and set on difficult short-term goals.

However, Kanade is also friendly and feminine. She loves to make others happy with her elegant, motherly approach to things. While she can be stern with those she cares about, her fussing incidentally pushes them away until realizing she means no harm. At times she can also show a more girly personality, usually when dealing with her feelings for Ouji.

Kanade is very calm and quiet-natured, a huge contrast to Hibiki. On several occasions, Kanade has exerted examples of elegance and maturity, pursuing goals such as cooking. Despite her womanly nature, though, she can also be very stubborn and will almost refuse to admit that she's wrong. She is also prone to feelings of inadequacy, making her a bit competitive by nature and forces her to set extremely high short-term goals.

Being the most mature of the group, Kanade has taken on a sort of mother-figure to the others. Though she can be stern to others, especially towards Hibiki and her younger brother, she just cares for them deeply and doesn't realize why her fussing tends to push them away.

Ako is initially introduced as a reserved and somewhat abrasive girl, quick to lash out and treat those around her rudely and inconsiderately. Eventually, it is revealed that this behavior is due in part to Minor Land's takeover of Major Land and her belief that she would be forced to save everyone on her own. In her Masked form, Cure Muse is very aloof and mysterious. She insists that she's not an ally of the other Cures, though she does often show up to lend them her aid. She does not speak in this form, instead allowing Dodory to speak for her. After her identity as Cure Muse is revealed and she finally joins the rest of the Pretty Cures outright, Ako lets down her cold exterior somewhat. She reveals herself to be a sweet and considerate girl who enjoys music and loves to sing. She acts somewhat mature for her age and seems capable of understanding things most kids her age wouldn't. Despite being the Princess of Major Land, Ako has little sense of grandeur about herself. She often insists that people simply call her by her name rather than her title.

Miyuki is a bright, kind-hearted, and energetic girl who loves fairytales. She is always happy and optimistic but seems occasionally naive. Miyuki is also really clumsy to the point where she sometimes ends up hurting herself when she gets overly excited, such as hitting her head after falling back. Multiple running gags in the series include Miyuki falling flat on her face after she randomly trips and her always getting hit in the face by random objects such as Candy and Pop's storybook.

During her childhood, Miyuki was a quiet and timid girl who was too afraid to interact with others. She would often read storybooks to console herself until Tae, her grandmother, gave her a mirror necklace and told her to always put a smile on her face in front of it. An encounter with a mysterious girl results in her becoming who she is now. Despite being normally cheerful, she still shows notable signs of nervousness such as her class introduction, being on stage for the fashion concert, and finding the Akanbe frightening in her first battle. However, Miyuki gains confidence in her abilities and develops courage over time. Her enthusiasm, motivation, and determination often help her to lead the other Cures in battle.

As she loves fairytales, her favorite childhood is reading storybooks. Miyuki loves them because the happy endings to these stories always leave a warm and happy feeling inside her heart, which she summarizes as a feeling of being "ultra happy!", making her cherish happiness and smiles in high regard. She hates seeing others being sad or crying and does her best to cheer them up when they do. Miyuki eventually realizes what her own happiness is and wishes to share that kindness and feeling with others.

Akane, who was born and raised in Osaka, speaks in the Kansai dialect" She has a tomboyish personality, which is often reflected in the way she stands or sits. Despite her tomboyishness, she loves cute things and has a soft spot for gorillas.

Akane is a passionate girl who loves making others laugh. The first impression she gives is that of the class jokester, always full of puns and jokes to make her classmates laugh. As such, she appears to be generally popular and well-liked. Her friends see her as an interesting girl who always manages to make them laugh. She has a habit of speaking her mind, which can get a little out of hand sometimes, such as when she introduced Nao, Reika, and Yayoi to Miyuki as being a "female gang leader", "Miss Popular" and "crybaby" respectively, causing visible discomfort to the three. Yayoi, with her crybaby personality and fascination with superheroes, is often the target of Akane's jokes. However, there does not seem to be any ill-meaning behind the teasing, and the other girls seldom take offense.

Despite all the teasing, Akane is extremely loyal to her friends. She also tends to act before she thinks. For example, when she witnessed Cure Happy being defeated by an Akanbe, she remembered how Miyuki had helped her out, and immediately went to help Happy even though she had no chance of winning against the Akanbe. Her strong wish to help her friend earned her the Smile Pact and allowed her to transform into Cure Sunny.

Concerning being a Pretty Cure, Akane was initially against the idea, turning down Miyuki's bold invitation. When she did become a Cure, she seemed quite cool about the whole idea, ready to do her best in battle, though not overwhelmingly enthusiastic like Miyuki or Yayoi. Similar to Nao, she does not understand why Miyuki and Yayoi are so hyped up about being "superheroes", and gives Miyuki a cool reception when she insists on the group coming up with a signature phrase.Ironically, though she loves to make puns, she was initially embarrassed by the ones made in her Cure introductory speech.

In terms of sports, Akane is excellent at volleyball, easily beating her classmates in a friendly match. She aims to become the ace attacker of the school volleyball team and comes down hard on herself when she is unable to perform well. She is also an independent girl, as she told Miyuki that she does not normally allow others to help her out, but gave Miyuki a chance to help her with volleyball training due to her enthusiasm and willingness. She can also be extremely focused, as she turned down Miyuki's offer to become a Pretty Cure (or "kiripura" as she mistakenly calls it) as she wanted to focus more on her volleyball training

Akane's family runs an okonomiyaki restaurant, and it is shown that Akane enjoys cooking.

She is a shy girl with a big heart. She was first depicting as a crybaby, "crying over the slightest nudge". Though she had a few friends, she mostly kept to her own due to her shy and modest nature. When Miyuki and Akane saw what potential she had in art, they managed to draw a more passionate fire out of her. When their lives were put it danger, she completely shed her baby-ish personality and showed her true strengths. Now that she's made a few friends, Yayoi has became more energetic and passionate about being a Pretty Cure, especially the superheroic elements. She is quite bubbly, sweet and outgoing, and while she may appear as a crybaby, she is actually quite strong when it comes to protecting her friends and making the right decision.

Intelligent and introverted, Rikka stands in sharp contrast to her much livelier and more outgoing friend, Mana. While Mana thrives in social settings and loves to be the center of attention, Rikka finds solace in quieter pursuits, such as studying and reflecting on her thoughts. Her love for academics is evident, as she consistently ranks among the top ten students in the national trial exams, an achievement she takes great pride in. As noted by Mana in episode 9, Rikka's intellect and diligence are unmatched at school, where she is frequently placed at the very top of her class. Her hard work and focus on academics have made her a standout student, but there is a caveat—when Rikka becomes engrossed in new hobbies or distractions, her grades tend to dip, revealing a more complex side to her character. Despite her calm and composed demeanor, Rikka is not one to shy away from being blunt when necessary. Her straightforwardness can sometimes come across as stern, but it is rooted in her desire to be honest and clear with those around her. She is not afraid to speak her mind, even when it may be uncomfortable for others. Although she strives for a peaceful and uneventful school life, Rikka's quiet existence is often disrupted by Mana, who, with her energetic and impulsive nature, frequently drags Rikka into various escapades. As Mana's childhood friend, Rikka feels a deep sense of duty to watch over her, often stepping in to help steer her away from potential trouble. Rikka may not always enjoy the chaos Mana brings, but her care for her friend runs deep. In return, Rikka places a great deal of trust in Mana, knowing that her friend has always been there to protect her. Their bond is built on years of shared experiences, with Mana often stepping in to support Rikka during difficult times, which has solidified Rikka's unwavering faith in her. Though Rikka may come off as reserved and pragmatic, her loyalty to Mana is unquestionable, and she is always there to lend a helping hand or offer a word of encouragement when needed. Their relationship is one of mutual care, with each complementing the other's strengths and weaknesses, and though Rikka may try to keep a low profile, her devotion to Mana will always remain a cornerstone of her life.

A popular idol star with a cool atmosphere, she is immensely popular among girls. Her nickname is Makopi. Her true identity is Precure, who fled to Earth from the Trump Kingdom. At the beginning of this work, she is already one of the main members who has awakened as a Precure. She is the person who indirectly gave birth to the three Precures: Mana became a Precure because of her desire to save Makoto, Rikka because she wanted to help Mana, and Arisdo because she wanted to help Mana and Rikka. Because of this, she is considered the first Precure in the work, overtaking the protagonist Mana.

As the last remaining Precure from the Trump Kingdom, which was destroyed by the invasion of Jikochu, she escaped with Princess Marie Anjou, but they were separated on the way, and she ended up exiling to Earth only with her partner fairy, Darby. She regrets not being able to protect the Trump Kingdom from the enemy invasion and feels a strong sense of mission to find the princess and save the Trump Kingdom as soon as possible. Her career as a singer began with street performances and eventually rose to her current position, thinking that her princess might find her after hearing her song.

Her singing ability is exceptional, and everyone acknowledges it. According to Darby, she was the best singer in the Trump Kingdom, and even on Earth, her debut song became a million-hit success in just one week.

Perhaps because of the experience of losing all of her colleagues in the Trump kingdom, in the beginning, she did not rely on her colleagues and practiced a self-sacrificing battle method while distancing herself from others. Little by little, she opens up to Mana's sincere attitude, and in episode 7, she officially becomes an ally with them. Initially, she devoted herself to idol activities and didn't go to school, but in episode 10, she transferred to Ogai No. 1 Junior High School and became a classmate with Mana and Rikka. She has a strong sense of responsibility and is very sincere to the point of being old-fashioned. She possesses a professional mindset that allows her to complete tight schedules without complaint. She always works hard for the people who listen to her songs and takes pride in making people smile. On the other hand, she is a bit awkward in interpersonal relationships and is not honest about her feelings, so she sometimes takes on an attitude that differs from her true emotions. She also pretends to be calm and collected to prevent her true feelings from being revealed. In a word, she is a tsundere type—strong on the outside but weak on the inside. After she got along with Mana and the others, her cool and naive side, as well as her poor interpersonal relationships, gradually improved. By the second half, she rarely showed this side, usually smiling naturally. She doesn't stand out much, but she is actually quite a big person. She either embraces and protects Regina, the daughter of King Jikochu, or trusts Rikka first, who protects Ira, who has amnesia. Even though the king was responsible for the fall of the country, she did not resent him. Considering that she is a character who harbors resentment for the destruction of her country, it is not an easy task to do.

She is so mature and spirited that you wouldn't think she's a 10-year-old elementary school student. She speaks confidently to her seniors and middle school students without hesitation, and even the Pretty Cures were initially drawn to Aguri's pace. She has firm opinions and an old-fashioned personality, never overlooking situations she thinks are wrong, which often leads her to lecture those around her. She is smooth with words and carries herself with dignity, often making old-fashioned remarks with deep meaning, despite being the best lady she is. However, even though she's Cure Ace, most people around her react with bewilderment rather than admiration when an elementary school student says such things. Compared to Makoto and Rikka, her mature side seems to have been maximized. At school, she interacts well with her peers and participates in group activities, but she doesn't form deep relationships beyond that. It's not that Aguri doesn't like spending time with her friends, but she distances herself from them because she feels her priority is to defeat Jikochu first. However, after taking the advice of Mana, Makoto, and others, she becomes close to Eru, a classmate, and makes her first true friend in episode 28. Aguri sometimes shows a childlike side. In episode 27, she gets excited when she sees Japanese sweets at a tea ceremony, but manages to suppress her excitement. After the battle with Jikochu, Mana saves the sweets, and Aguri gratefully receives them. In episode 37, she shows herself to be a picky eater, especially when it comes to carrots. She even blamed herself for being disqualified from Pretty Cure due to this. However, after experiencing the carrot field, she overcame her picky eating habits.

As a little girl, Towa was very sweet and admired her older brother. She dreamed of becoming a Grand Princess for the sake of helping the land, but knowing that only a Princess Pretty Cure could become one eventually got to her, when she became brainwashed by Dyspear. As Twilight, she seemed to take after her adoptive "mother" in terms of characteristics. In contrast to her child self, she believed that dreams are pitiful illusions that people believe in. Twilight also saw the Pretty Cures as fake princesses, and was ruthless and vain enough on calling herself "Noble, Precious, and Beauteous." While she would initially appear courteous around Haruka, she used their moments together to dishearten her after feeling threatened. After being purified, she is shown to be somewhat naive and awkward around others. While she is polite and formal, her upbringing gave her a lack of social grace as she wasn't used to the customs of Earth, like thinking that she could buy a castle and three housemaids. However, she remains kind, courageous, and helpful, and cares deeply for her friends. She begins to learn how to do her things independently without assistance, but she still heavily adores Kanata and admires her big brother.

Due to being deceived by Dyspear before, she also became observant and perceptive, being able to discern and detect the presence of a suspicious person.

Mirai is a thirteen-year-old girl who is just about to enter her second year at middle school. She's a strange, funny, lovely and energetic girl who is interested in various things, and tends to think outside of the box. Her stuffed bear Mofurun that was given to her by her grandmother, Kanoko, is very important to her and she admires Riko a lot. Her goal is to study magic she loves while trying to gain Riko's admiration. Although sometimes rash, Mirai is extremely caring and selfless, as she will sacrifice herself for the friends she loves. She is also hardworking in order to attain the things she strives to accomplish, which is why she finds magic exciting to learn. One night, Mirai is up late, noticing how big the moon looks and runs out to her balcony. Suddenly, she spots something flying and spinning out of control before it crashes into the trees. Curious, Mirai decides to head out to investigate but is stopped by her mother, who asks where she’s going. Mirai tries to explain what she saw, but her mother reminds her not to stay up late, even during spring break. The next morning, Mirai is still thinking about what she saw. Her grandmother playfully suggests it could have been a magician flying on a broom, exciting Mirai even more. Seeing her daughter’s eagerness, her mother allows her to go search for it and tells Mirai to pick out a pendant as a reward for helping with housework. She chooses a pink, diamond-shaped one and happily puts it on. Mirai then hurries outside with her teddy bear, Mofurun, placed in a basket. As she walks through the park, Mofurun accidentally falls onto the ground without her noticing.

As she spins out of control, she falls into a tree and grabs onto a branch, boasting to a nearby cat that she meant to do that, but falls again as the branch snaps. The next morning, she is out searching again. Almost falling off her broom, she notices a girl had dropped something. She decides to tell her then slowly floats away again but the girl chases after her and tells her she saw her last night. She introduces herself as Asahina Mirai and asks to be her friend but Riko tells her she is in a hurry and speaks the magic words "Cure Up! Ra-pa-pa!" and takes off on the broom once more as Mirai grabs on and tells her not to leave. Having one more passenger than usual, Riko runs out of energy and the broom loses its magic. As both girls start to fall, Riko's pendant begins to glow and she notices that Mirai has the same one but in pink. They both float in the air for a while as they are both surprised that they have the same pendant but soon fall back down after realizing they are hungry.

However, her cooking skills and schooling could use some improvement. Ichika has a way of making others smile through her pure and genuine feelings and the heart she puts into everything she does. She's usually very perky, and when she's really excited, she hops around much like a rabbit. Ichika can be clumsy at times and is fairly emotional. Learning that her mother is coming home soon, Ichika decides to make her a strawberry shortcake as a present. She attempts to make it several times, but it could never rise properly. While she's working, a hungry Pekorin crashes into her face through the open window. The fairy eats up and enjoys the failed cakes, and as Ichika makes another one for her mother, Pekorin notices the Kirakiraru sparkling from it. Ichika then finishes baking the new shortcake and it successfully rises, but the celebration is short-lived after she learns that her mother would not be able to come home that day, which drains her of her motivation to complete the cake. As she laments, Gummy, who sensed the Kirakiraru coming home her house, arrives and steals it from the remaining shortcakes, turning them black and powering him up. Ichika and Pekorin then give chase, with the unfinished cake in tow. Pekorin strives to protect the cake Ichika put her feelings into, which in turn gives the girl confidence to finish it. Just then, they are surrounded by a bright light as she decorates the cake with a rabbit's face on it. Just then, the cake turns into an Animal Sweet and a Sweets Pact. With those, Ichika transforms into Cure Whip for the first time. After getting adjusted to her newfound powers, Whip uses her attack to turn Gummy back into his smaller form and to return the Kirakiraru to the blackened sweets.

Himari is a very shy and gentle person who tends to run away from strangers and gets nervous when she is in the spotlight or around a large number of people. However, she has a great passion for sweets and enjoys learning about the science behind them. She has spent a lot of time studying sweets-related books and has become quite knowledgeable. As a result, she has earned the nickname "Sweets Doctor" because she is capable of answering questions about various sweets and determining their effects on the body. When she talks about her favorite topic, she tends to chatter on and on, which has caused her to drive away others in the past. This makes her hesitant to speak up when she is around people she is not familiar with.

While Ichika is playing basketball, she completely misses the basket and runs into Himari, who is reading a book. Asked if she was alright, Himari says she was before leaving, forgetting the book she dropped- only to return after Ichika mentions it. The next day, Ichika encounters Himari in a pudding shop during a sale and they both ask for the last one, but it ends up going to a little girl who asked for it while they were trying to figure out what to do. They then decided, at Pekorin's suggestion, to make one themselves. The two of them go to the patisserie, but Ichika keeps burning the sugar. A somewhat reluctant Himari tells her what she was doing wrong and starts talking more about pudding and other sweets. This causes them to run out of time, which brings back some saddening flashbacks for Himari, who had difficulty making friends because her tendency to talk a lot drove them away, and she was afraid she was doing the same for Ichika. The next day, she sees Ichika looking for a book in the library and returns to the patisserie later to find her trying to make the pudding again. She offers to help her out and together, they successfully create a giant one, with Ichika making a smaller one for Himari that she decorated to look like a squirrel. Suddenly, Pulupulu appeared and stole the Kirakiraru from the big pudding and transformed it into his most powerful form. After Himari's pudding is targeted, Ichika transforms into Cure Whip but has a tough time against him. Himari tries to get him to stop when her pudding turns into an Animal Sweet and a Sweets Pact, allowing her to transform into Cure Custard. Using her newfound super speed, she along with Whip freed the Kirakiraru and forced Pulupulu back into his normal form. They then proceed to enjoy the pudding after the Kirakiraru returns to it

Above everything else, she desires freedom and feels stifled by the strict rules at home, which require her to behave and dress more appropriately. Initially, Aoi's competitive nature makes it hard for her to accept her own shortcomings, but she eventually learns to let go and embrace her personality, which is "hard and chewy," and develops her own unique musical style. While Ichika and Himari are on their way to buy ingredients to make sweets, they overhear someone singing. They decide to check it out and see Aoi singing with her band Wild Azur, and Ichika enjoys the music. Aoi meets the two while they wait in line for some ice cream, stopping a couple of taunting high schoolers from cutting the line. Later, the band finds out that there will be a Battle of the Bands competition with Misaki Ayane, Aoi's idol, being one of the judges, so she volunteers to write the lyrics for the song. She has a difficult time coming up with anything decent, and even though Ichika tries to help her out, she still can't figure it out. By the day of the contest, Aoi still hasn't come up with anything and starts to lose confidence when Ichika and Himari arrive backstage to give her some blue sky-inspired ice cream with a lion's face on it. Aoi takes a bite from it when she starts to have flashbacks of hearing Ayane perform live for the first time, which inspired her to become a rock singer. After eating it, she suddenly came up with the perfect lyrics for it and soon it is Wild Azur's turn to perform for the competition when Hotto, one of the Kirakirau Thieves, attacks the stage, causing the crowd to evacuate. Ichika and Himari transform into Cure Whip and Cure Custard respectively, but Hotto's heat made it difficult for the two to hold him off. He then targets the ice cream that was kept safe in a cooler, but Aoi steps in to defend it, and her determination to protect it causes the ice cream to turn into an Animal Sweet and a Sweets Pack. Aoi then immediately transforms into Cure Gelato. Using her newfound ice powers and lion's roar, she was able to hold Hotto off before she and the other two Cures sent him flying, freeing the Kirakiraru he consumed. Soon after, even with there being no crowd in sight, Aoi and her band perform the song she wrote and little by little, the audience returns to listen, including Ayane.

Yukari is a clever and refined lady with a fickle personality, who is prone to teasing others to get different reactions out of them, mostly out of being egotistical. She is quite perceptive, being immediately able to tell that something was off with Rio. Spending time with Ichika and the others and being a Cure makes every day an unpredictable experience, and this liveliness is something Yukari seeks. She also takes an interest in macarons after her own first batches fail, and she likes the idea of having something she can work on improving. As a child, Yukari kept on trying out new things in order to find anything she would feel passionate about, but she was not able to. Being seen as "perfect" becomes depressingly dreary to her, and nobody wanting to look beyond that "perfection" makes her feel lonely. Since enjoyment cannot be given to her, she realizes that she needs to create enjoyable situations herself. She embraces this and herself in episode 29, and admits she won't be able to erase her inner darkness and sadness, but being with her friends and surrounding herself with a "colourful world" makes her able to deal with it. Yukari makes a brief cameo appearance in the first episode of the show, when she sees the vision of a macaron in the sky after a kirakiraru eruption at Ichigo Mountain. Her next short appearance is at the end of episode 4, when Ichika accidentally bumps into her as she takes a jump, and she chuckles in response.

Ichika, Himari and Aoi then learn more about Yukari, who is extremely popular among her high school peers and the townspeople and is rumored to be one of the most beautiful girls in the whole school. One day, while Ichika attempts to pet Three-Star-Kitty, Yukari notices and is successfully able to pet him herself. She then slowly warms up to Ichika. So much so, that the next day, Yukari takes her around town, first to a boutique where she tries on different outfits and then playing a crane game and looking at the different-colored macarons among other things. Ichika notices something is up with Yukari whenever she sees them, so she suggests Yukari stops by the KiraKira Patisserie soon so they can make their own macarons together. Himari and Aoi are shocked to see her at the patisserie as them, along with Ichika, start making the macarons. When they didn't turn out right, Yukari makes a batch herself, but they do not turn out right and didn't taste as well as they want it to. Yukari then briskly makes another batch, and the finished cookies all looked cracked, so she tries to make yet another batch when Ichika suggests decorating it to fix it, and she then does so for one of them, having it resemble a cat. Seeing it makes Yukari smile, but the celebration doesn't last long when Maquillon, a Kirakiraru Thief that would steal the Kirakiraru from macarons, appears and steals more from the ones they already made. The three Cures, wanting to protect them, transform to battle her but have a difficult time doing so. Just then, Yukari, wanting to defend the macarons, stands up to Maquillon. As a result, the cat macaron she held became an Animal Sweet and a Sweets Pact, allowing her to transform into Cure Macaron for the first time. Using her newfound cat-like agility, she is successfully able to defeat Maquillon, turning her back into her normal size and restoring the Kirakiraru she stole from all the macarons.

Akira has a rational mind and knows her way around places, making her a reliable person. Her caring nature extends to her younger sister Miku, who is sick. Akira often gives her chocolate to cheer her up and once even sacrificed her own Kirakirau to rescue her. Despite being referred to as a boy by those around her, Akira doesn't mind and can even be a bit of a show-off at times. Later, Ichika learns that Akira had moved in next door to her, and she started falling for Akira even more. The other Cures join her at her house to learn more about the mysterious boy next door. Akira looks on from the balcony and asks Ichika if she knew of any good shops that sold chocolates. Ichika shows her one with a book she flipped through. The two of them head into the shopping district the next day to the store in question and bought chocolate, one as a gift for Akira's ailing little sister Miku, who was in the hospital, and another for Ichika as a thank-you present. As Akira explains to Ichika about her sister, a Kirakiraru Thief named Bitard attacks and steals the chocolates intended for Miku, leaving Akira shocked. Ichika tries and fails to get them back. Upset by this, Ichika comes up with the idea of having her and Akira make their own chocolate instead. At the patisserie, they make a chocolate doghouse with a strawberry resembling a dog's head as the other three watch. While making them, Himari and Aoi figure out that Akira is actually a girl when she called it "cute". Just then, as they finish up, Bitard appears again to take the homemade chocolate, but Ichika transforms into Cure Whip in front of Akira to defend it. However, like last time, she was easily defeated and de-transformed. Seeing this and the other Cures also struggling against Bitard increases Akira's desire to protect the chocolate even more. One of the dog chocolates then reacts, turning into an Animal Sweet and a Sweets Pact. With this, Akira transforms into Cure Chocolat for the first time and used her heightened sense of smell to track down Bitard easily, eventually defeating him and restoring the stolen Kirakiraru he stole from the chocolates. That night, Ichika visits Akira again when her father Genichirou appears and reveals to her that Akira is actually a girl, not a guy like she thought, causing Ichika to become shocked.

She is extremely diligent and always sought for improvement in order to become perfect as shown during her time as an apprentice in her fairy form, and her efforts paid off as she acquired the ability to transform into a human, which she goes under the name of Ciel. However, success soon blinded her, and she began to neglect to her brother Pikario, which led to their estrangement. She was truly overwhelmed by her guilt and self-hatred of not understanding him like Ichika does, which turned out to be her fatal weakness and begot to her loss of her dream after Noir thieved her Kirakirarus, but fortunately she then overcame her sadness after tasting one of her brother's failed waffles and learned to understand her brother Pikario with a deeper comprehension. Also, her desire of achieving perfection by relying herself so as to avert embarrassment can be an obstacle for her. For example, she refused to admit how she always revert into fairy form when extremely hungry, which ignited a chaos at school. But as the series progresses, she begins to accept help from her friends and cooperate with them. Overall, Ciel is a caring and goodhearted girl who not only cares for her brother and friends, but also her enemies. For example, she treats Bibury with kindness during her encounters with the latter and even rescuing the latter courageously.

Ciel arrives at Ichigozaka from Paris to open her pop-up shop Ciel de rève. She is seen near Ichigoyama and turns back into her fairy form Kirarin, appearing upset. Later that day, now Ciel again, she appears at a fruit stand in the shopping district the Cures were shopping at and startles them, wearing only a pair of sunglasses to conceal her identity as a famous patissière. She soon reveals her identity, causing a crowd to draw around her and the KiraPati girls to be shocked at being in her presence. She then announces that she will open a shop there for a limited time and hold a special demonstration for the spectators. The next day, the girls come by to see Ciel, and are marvelled by her ability to create fancier sweets than the ones they are used to seeing. Ichika is so impressed that she asks Ciel if she could be her apprentice, but she immediately turns it down. Ciel later demonstrates a live cook-off, which impresses the townspeople. She once again turns down Ichika's request on passing on her skills, but gets to know Ichika better as a person when exploring the mountains to collect ingredients with her. Her fancy pancakes are a big hit with the audience. Just as the atmosphere of the show is heating up, Ciel almost gets harmed by Bibury who turns Iru into a monster, until Cure Whip comes to the rescue, establishing her budding admiration. Hana is an energetic optimist who aims to become someone who is like a big sister or an adult, but often fails at most things she wants to do mostly because of her childishness. However, she does have moments where she becomes disheartened because of her failures and would conceal her sadness by trying to be happy, mainly because of her being bullied in the past. She also tends to act before she thinks. Flaws aside, she is brave, caring, supportive, and forgiving towards others. On the morning of the first day of her new school, Hana decides to trim her own bangs to look more like a mature lady but ends up cutting them too short. Then she ends up running late after protecting someone from a flying baseball that was coming toward them. As she stands in the way of it, she hears a baby's cry along with a flash of pink light and time stands still for a brief moment. Later on that day, she hears the mysterious baby's cry again and she rushes to the rooftop of the school, meeting up with two other intriguing students she encountered earlier, class representative Yakushiji Saaya and seemingly social misfit Kagayaki Homare. That night, while looking out over her balcony, Hana notices the same flash of pink light in the sky flying toward her and hitting her. After she recovers, Hana gets back up but is shocked to see she is now holding a baby named Hugtan, along with her caretaker, a hamster named Hariham Harry. However, they end up leaving as strangely as they came. The next day, Charaleet, who works for the Criasu Corporation, extracts a group of frustrated students' Prickly Power to create a monster called an Oshimaida. Hana tries to help when she sees Hugtan and Hariham Harry in danger. After a brief scuffle, Hana promises to protect Hugtan from the Oshimaida. Her determination causes her chest to glow and a mysterious heart-shaped crystal, her Mirai Crystal, to appear. Using the PreHeart, Hana then transforms into Cure Yell and is able to stop the Oshimaida using her newfound strength. She purifies it using Heart For You! before Charaleet leaves. After the battle, she feeds Hugtan the Tomorrow Powerer from her Mirai Crystal as Harry notices the immense amount of it Yell possessed.

Despite having been a famous child actor, she was once lost and uncertain of her own future until she realizes her hidden dream of becoming a doctor. She also has some peculiar interests, like a love for spicy foods and enthusiasm towards sets of tools. She also has a hidden competitive streak. In the first episode, Saaya is first seen in class when transfer student Nono Hana charges into the room, late for her self-introduction. After hearing the cries of a baby, Saaya meets Hana and Kagayaki Homare on the rooftop. Impressed by Hana's energy during her introduction, Saaya offers to show Hana around the school. In the following episode, Saaya further interacts with Hana. Saaya demonstrates much maturity in her role as the class rep, and the two converse about the Pretty Cure and various other topics as Saaya writes the school newspaper. After school, Saaya appears at the door of the tree house, drawn by the sound of Hugtan's tears as Hana frantically tries to calm her down. Saaya realizes that Hugtan is likely upset due to hunger, and after a quick internet search, learns how to prepare baby milk. Saaya reveals that she, like Hana, experiences a strange phenomenon where time stops for an instant with the cries of a certain baby. As Saaya calms Hugtan down with the finished bottle of milk, both Hana and Hariham Harry (hiding in a corner) are impressed. Hana compliments Saaya on her kindness, while Saaya believes that on the contrary, her kindness doesn't hold a candle to Hana's courage during her introduction. Hana then concludes that Saaya is courageous as well, as is required of someone to be kind to others. Hana cheers Saaya on as the two laugh. When an Oshimaida appears nearby, Hana and Saaya rush to the scene. Hana reveals her identity as a Cure by transforming in front of Saaya, which shocks her. As Saaya looks on, concerned, she remembers Hana's cheers from before, which causes her to create a blue Mirai Crystal from her heart. Having found courage from within herself, Saaya transforms into the Pretty Cure of Wisdom, Cure Ange. She fends off the Oshimaida's attacks with Heart Feather!, and her analytical skills allow her to pinpoint the Oshimaida's weak points, lending to the Cures' victory. Homare is a mature girl who excels at everything. However, she appears to have self-esteem issues, quitting figure skating after her failure to complete a jump during her childhood scarred her mentally. Fortunately, she regains the confidence to skate again after some encouragement from Hana and Saaya, which in turn granted her her Mirai Crystal, and she has become a more confident and resilient person onwards. She also loves cute things, like her rabbit doll, babies, her dog, and ice cream. In episode 4, Hana and Saaya attempt to get Homare to join the team, finding her to be a good candidate for being the third Cure. At first, she is reluctant to join them, but she soon takes a liking to Hugtan. She is also seen taking care of a stray dog she rescued from being run over by a truck during the time stop. Later that day, she challenges a group of bullies picking on a group of third graders to a basketball match between her, along with Hana and Saaya, and them. She is seen to be incredibly skilled at playing, but once she attempts to jump and make a basket, she remembers a frightening fall she took and hesitates, instead of passing the ball to Hana, who scores a lucky shot. Hana and Saaya soon learn that Homare was once a famous ice skater and was really good at it until she missed a crucial jump, which badly injured her and essentially ended her career. Then, Homare's coach, Umehashi, is targeted by Charaleet and his Prickly Powerer is used to create a powerful Oshimaida with data that Ruru gathered. The Cures have a difficult time against it, and Homare once again watches. She hopes to be like them and learn to fly again, and that causes her Mirai Crystal to appear, but it is far away from her. She attempts to reach out for it when everyone cheering her on, but when she attempted to jump, she is once again traumatized by the jump she failed to make and the resulting injury. She barely misses the crystal and tumbles to the ground before it disappears. Watching this causes the Oshimaida to feel regret over not being able to help Homare, which in part helps Cure Yell to defeat it. In the end, Homare is still upset about not being able to obtain her crystal. In the next episode, Homare helps the other girls out in opening Beauty Harry, a boutique that Hariham Harry opens, and it has a successful launch. However, Homare is still feeling upset about everything that happened and still wonders whether or not she'll be able to jump again without remembering her injury. Hana and Saaya assure her that there are things that she could do that they can't, and that is OK with them. Just then, Charaleet appears again, knowing that the despairing Homare will have a good amount of negativity to create a strong Oshimaida. He shackles her and sends her flying to the wall of a tall building. Charaleet mocks her inability to make the clearing between the wall and the building across from her, making Homare remember her injury again. He cruelly tells her that she'll never shine again as Homare plunges to the nadir of her despair, and Charaleet uses the Prickly Powerer to create a powerful skater Oshimaida. Yell and Ange appear to fight it and rescue Homare, but it proves to be too fast and impossible to target because of its spinning abilities. Just when things seem lost, Homare, who is still conscious even after being targeted, starts to regain hope and belief in herself, despite still having fear about jumping. Her determination grows when her Mirai Crystal appears again, but she would have to jump in order to get it. She decides to take that chance and jumps over the gap, successfully obtaining the crystal this time and transforming into Cure Étoile. In her new form, she regained her confidence in being able to jump, which immediately fit with the other Cures, and after using Heart Star! to weaken the Oshimaida, Yell purifies it.
