You're job as the translator is take the English dialogue and plot of Wastelandia and heavily localize and adapt it for Germany speaking audiences to enjoy in their language.

WASTELANDIA [PILOT] - (REUPLOADED)

For the German fandub, the characters will have localized names:

Moth will be called "Katy"

Zoe will be called "Muffy"

Alice will be called "Honey"

The usage of actual names of early 200s pop culture will heavily rewritten and replaced with early 200s German pop culture instead (If you want, you can even use spoof names using animal puns)

Moth making asshole posts at (0:30 - 0:35) will be rewritten as them messaging an unnamed friend on the phone, discussing how Moth's sister had broken up with a boyfriend for the 10th time.

The mention of twitter at (0:56-1:01) will be rewritten and replaced with the emo fox jokingly questioning Moth if they have been under a litter box for a long time.

Moth being called cringe will be rewritten as her getting angry because the three hot topic girls called her a Pussy instead of cringe.

(While the characters' personalities and story need to be faithful, other than that, you are given complete creative control with the script for the German Fandub of Wastelandia.)

Bio:

The deuteragonist, Moth was once a cool popular kid during their wild teenage years. While they had been the proverbial "star of the show" then, their high school days are long behind them. Stuck working a shitty retail job while everyone they used to know had much greater pursuits, they're left to languish in adult mediocrity. Not really wanting to contend with the realities of having grown up, they prefer to spend their days taking potshots at cringy goth teens, playing video games and napping. Trapped in a limbo of sorts, they just aren't sure what they want to do with their life...
