Warped Reality [Object Show]
Project Overview
This is my object show Warped Reality!
Warped Reality takes place primarily at Camp Cinder, a summer camp based around helping campers develop their tapus (basically special abilities). 18 are selected for a competition, hosted by Angel Ring, his great grandson Ring Box, and Ring Box's partner Box TV as his co-hosts. As the competition goes on, weird things begin to occur, changing the atmosphere of Camp Cinder, and their lives, forever.
Unfortunately, as of now WR is unpaid.
Some general information:
- While there will be timeframes they will be relatively lenient since I understand things happen! Given Warped Reality also is an unpaid project, I feel like you all deserve more leniency.
- As I've said Warped Reality is UNPAID (as of now), while I aim to one day I am just a high school student right now so payment is not realistic for NOW. However, if WR gets popular enough or I end up being able to substantially pay you guys, I will.
- For all positions COMMUNICATION is the top quality. Stuff comes up and I get that, but PLEASE communicate!!

As a background designer, you will be expected to draw, color, and shade backgrounds. Sometimes you will be asked to animate, but I might make a separate role for background animators. You will be expected to communicate with animators who share your scene, which will be available through a spreadsheet!
Requirements:
- NO watermarks.
- Use a vector software of some kind (Adobe Animate or Illustrator are preferred, but I understand some aren't able to get those; however there are some that are free such as Linearity Curve for Apple products such as the iPhone, iPad, and Mac as well as Inkscape for computer! I suggest taking a look).
- Lineless backgrounds or at the least thin lined backgrounds are preferable.
Position Info:
- Work time will likely be anywhere from 3 weeks to a month and a half, though it depends on the size of the episode.
- Work is generally focused for right after character animation OR during animation; we are still testing with when exactly we're doing backgrounds.
- Concepts and sketches however will still happen during the stages when backgrounds are not being produced.
- Adobe Animate
- adobe illustrator
- Any Vector Art Platform

Recently, I've wanted to make Warped Reality more accessible for those in the OSC who don't speak English. So we are looking for translators to translate our scripts (since Google Translate is super unreliable) so that we can achieve that goal.
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of both English and the language you're creating subtitles for.
- Communication and ability to work in a team of 1-3 people.
- Have good availability!
Position Info:
- Work time will be once audio is finished.
- You will be expected to communicate with other translators.
Translators we ALREADY have (full):
- Latin American Spanish
- French (France)
Translators we are LOOKING for:
- European (Spain) Spanish
- Russian
- Portuguese (Brazilian)
- French (Canada) [WE DO HAVE ONE, BUT HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED]
- Japanese
- Arabic
- Chinese (Mandarin)
- Overall, any language you can provide! All of them would be great!
I am not SUPER well versed on languages and dialects and all that so feel free to reach out to me if you want to help! I'd love to learn honestly since languages are really cool.
