Vtuber debut trailer
Project Overview
I am renewing my Vtuber avatar and want to make a debut trailer for it. It will be posted publicly on YouTube, you can be credited in the caption if you wish. There will be a “making of” video too, so the progress we go through will be public as well. If there are specific details you don’t want to have public let me know, but the general workflow will be part of the “making of” video. Please provide a discord handle when you audition, there will be a server for this project. I also need you to be patient as this project might take a very long time to come to fruition.

Here’s what I need:
musician (the entire music of the debut trailer will be your job. I have no knowledge about music, I can only give you examples I’d like it to sound similar to, the video and therefore the song needs to be roughly one minute long, aside from that I need a short intro & outro jingle for future videos)
Artists (I’ll need a few snapshots of the character doing its usual things- the ideas aren’t fleshed out yet and I welcome you to bring your own ideas but I expect anime style scenes, seperately from that I also need a general background I can use in videos, here I expect a red black gothic bedroom/crafting room with a hint of Alice in wonderland aesthetics)
Video editor/animator (you’ll be responsible for putting the assets provided by the others together and bringing the debut video to life)
Artist/animator (I’d like to include some fully animated anime style clips, just a few seconds)
Director (someone who can help me fine tune the idea into an actual script that everyone can work on. I’m not good at organisation)

I need someone to make the main music for the debut trailer. I need something with a dark academia, slightly gothic aesthetic, think vampire magical school. A tune that could play in the show Wednesday/adams family, a tune that might remind some of Harry Potter, yet something that definitely hints at vampire. Not too dark and dramatic, think of a vampire that’s an artist? I have no idea about music but I’ll provide some examples of music I’d like it to be similar to. I’m assuming you’d make the music digitally with some software and digital instruments. This song will be roughly a minute long, aside from that I will also need a few second long intro and outro for future videos in the same style, maybe matching. To audition for this role, please provide me with a 10 second sample of your music, in the aesthetics mentioned above.

I need someone for editing the debut trailer itself. I’m not too well versed with video editing. I’m not familiar with these types of videos so bringing your own ideas is very welcome. The vtuber avatar will be a gothic vampire but not too dark, imagine a youthful vampire artist? Elegant yet playful. To audition for this role, please provide me with a 10 second clip of a mock up debut trailer in the above mentioned style, feel free to use random images from the internet, this is just for visualization of your skills.

We will add some animated scenes to the trailer (anime style, a few seconds long). I’ll provide you with the character design and you’ll animate a scene (instructions will be provided once we have a draft). The character is a vampire artist, so it would be good if that fits into your style/skills. You may need to work together with the video editor to help animate the debut trailer itself. You may work together with the artists. To audition for this role, please provide me with a 10 second clip of your animation (can be some old project of yours, I just need to see your animation/art style)

You might need to work together with the animator. To audition for this role, please provide me with 3-5 drawings in anime and gothic style variations, you may pick your focus (either the scenes or the background or both) as there will be multiple artists.

I need someone to help me flesh out this idea, organize the project, and direct the others to their tasks. We will brainstorm together, I’ll show you what my general inspiration and idea is, and you help me put it all together. The final decisions will be mine but I welcome you to bring a lot of ideas and suggestions into this. to audition for this role, please provide me with a rough outline of the debut trailer, show me your vision.
