Project Overview

An aspiring hero fails his lifelong journey to become a knight.
In desperation, he turns to dark powers to give himself the future he was denied.

Vow to Vitra (VtV) is a 2D action-adventure animation about ambition, sacrifice, and the hardship of becoming your ideal self. 

It takes place in a world which combines the heroes and magic of fantasy, with the aesthetic and technology of near future sci-fi. These two sides will often interact to create all manner of awesome characters who combine tropes present in both settings, from mecha-knights, to gun wizards, to magic infused AI monstrosities, anything is possible in Vitra!

Requirements:
All applicants must be 18 years or older
You must have a discord account since development of the animation will be managed there
You must have a Paypal account
Payment will vary based on the role to account for the average length of lines.

Note, the payment listed is for VA work is for the entire script, not just the kickstarter trailer.

    Heya everybody! I'm about to begin production of the kickstarter trailer, and I've had a really hard time trying to find 2D animators to help out with the segments I can't animate myself!

Gail is the main character of VtV, he is an average sounding, young guy with a lot of anxieties about himself and what he will amount to in his world. The main problem he will struggle with is his guilt from failing to become a knight, along with the hardships of his new, chaotic life.

References:
Something similar to Stark from Frieren but with a more mature, slightly monotone voice. 
He usually speaks in a somewhat formal manner but when he’s feeling strong emotions his formal facade drops.
You can deviate from the references as much as you deem necessary, just make him sound interesting!

Dysana is the main villain in VtV, she is a young, bipolar noblewoman who relishes her position as a knight for the violence and status it provides. Her speech varies from a nonchalant, sort of joking disposition, to a psychotic, sadistic whisper meant to intimidate people. She speaks in a european accent, I have a strong preference for French but I’d be willing to hear out any other european accent (ie. British, Russian, etc.)


References:
Something like Mistral from Metal Gear Rising, but less um.. flirty, and somewhat less mature voice when she isn’t angry/serious.

Honestly I don’t have a super concrete Idea for what she should sound like, you don’t need to follow the voice reference if you think you could come up with something cool!

Calo is a relatively older character (mid 30s) who will serve as the leader and “glue” of the group. He is completely obsessed with embodying the heroic, knightly image that people imagine when they see him. His entire identity outside of being a knight is irrelevant to him, to the point where no one has even seen his face.

Similar to Solaire from dark souls but slightly less cheerful, more neutral sounding
Solaire of Astora Dialogues [English subtitles, Timestamps, 1080p HD]
He speaks in a manner similar to a fantasy character, but with the occasional modern word and phrase thrown in. Since he is wearing a helmet I will muffle his voice a bit.

Deci is a character that serves as the comic relief and source of information in the group. She is very devious and likes to mess with people to get a reaction out of them, but in the end she tries her best to keep everyone in the group safe and well-informed about everything in the world.

Since she is a robot I will be putting a voice filter over her lines, you don’t have to edit anything but just keep that in mind when you’re recording.

Shun is a character who’s the practical-minded, quieter member of the group. She acts sarcastic, nonchalant, and often comes into conflict with Calo for making decisions based on emotion. She will be the primary source of conflict from within the main character’s group since her practical mind often comes into conflict with the more emotional decisions made by the rest of the cast.

Shara is a character who serves as Gail’s only friend before he meets the other main characters. She is a very kind, shy person who tries her best to make Gail feel better about his shortcomings. Similar to the generic imperial officers from Star wars, but with a slightly archaic, medieval-esque manner of speaking.
