Project Overview
Aline, a heartbroken student who failed to get into her dream major, discovers a food-eating contest at the fair the prize: a scholarship for that exact program. Driven by desperation and absurd determination, she enters the contest against all odds. After failing miserably, she stumbles upon a bizarre doctor who gives her a pill that makes her stomach elastic, turning her into a literal eating machine. What follows is an increasingly ridiculous showdown between Aline and the reigning champion, the elegant and arrogant Jane Bellington Gulpsworth. With her boyfriend Alexis cheering (and later sacrificing himself in the most ridiculous way possible), Aline devours her way to victory — and disaster. A mix of satire, absurd comedy, and over-the-top anime-style drama, Over-Eating Contest is a story about chasing your dreams… even if it means eating everything and everyone in sight.
