Hello! If you aren't yet aware, my friends and I are currently putting together a Voltron Abridged series. We currently have every role cast except for Lance, so this casting call will be focusing on casting his role (sorry, ladies)!
The lines below are merely samples from the current working abridged script and may change. With that being said, the story in this series IS much different than the original (hence it being abridged!), and we would like potential cast members to be aware that Lance's personality may be a bit different than it is in the show!
So, before we begin, here are a few rules!
1. BE FAMILIAR WITH THE SHOW! I completely understand if you aren't caught up or don't even follow the series, but we would love for you to have a basic understanding of the concepts so that you can deliver lines the way they are intended, specifically if they poke fun at an element of the real show.
2. HAVE A DISCORD! We primarily communicate through a Discord server dedicated to the project, so we rely heavily on our actors being active there!
3. INCORPORATE EMOTIONS! While we would love for you to sound as much like Jeremy Shada as possible, your impersonation skills are secondary to your acting. Please, please, PLEASE show off your voice acting abilities!

If you've seen the show, you should know that Lance is the flirty, fun goofball of the group. We've ultimately kept those characteristics, so feel free to do with that what you will! Keep in mind that Lance IS still 17 in this series, so it's better to sound younger than older!
