Voicing Vocaloid - A Fan Project/Group
Project Overview
Hello, welcome to this CastingCall.Club page!
I'd like to start off by thanking you for clicking this page! It is very appreciated, and I hope you are interested in this!
What is Voicing Vocaloid?
"Voicing Vocaloid" is the name of this project/group! It is a place where you can meet others through vocaloid and be able to voice and sing as your favorite digital singers. I wanted to make this casting call to meet others and find others who would take this both as a serious project, but still have a lot of fun working on this with me. I will be making a YouTube account, which I will put in this description as soon as it is created. There, we will post comic dubs, song covers, skits, improv, and many more vocaloid based "things".
Wait... what IS a "Vocaloid"?
Do I have to audition to join the Discord?
What are the requirements?

- Singing either a segment of the song (or the whole thing if you'd like) provided as well as voice acting the lines given.

- Someone who fits the character's voice
Please feel free to join the Discord! https://discord.gg/NEPJw4F

Hatsune Miku (初音ミク), codenamed CV01, was the first Japanese VOCALOID to be both developed and distributed by Crypton Future Media, Inc.. She was initially released in August 2007 for the VOCALOID2 engine and was the first member of the Character Vocal Series. She was the seventh VOCALOID overall, as well as the second VOCALOID2 vocal released to be released for the engine. Her voice is provided by the Japanese voice actress Saki Fujita (藤田咲, Fujita Saki).[1][2]
Designed to be a cute, high pitched and young female Japanese singer, the vocal is of a non-professional vocalist and represents a voice acted result. It has strong attack and is known for its fairly high adaptability and morphing ability. Due to its high usages among Japanese producers, the vocal was regarded as both "The VOCALOID" voicebank, as well as the "standard" vocal among VOCALOID usage, the vocal itself was meant to replace KAITO and MEIKO from VOCALOID. Miku was created to have stand out vocal traits compared to MEIKO. This was also the first vocal for VOCALOID2 that was designed for VOCALOID2 itself.
Either sing The World Is Mine, Senbonzakura, Two Faced Lovers, or Tell Your World.
"Kon-ban-wa!! Good evening, Tokyo! Are you ready to see my friends and I preform?! ... I can't hear you!" *yelling to the crowd*
"I just... *sniff* feel so honored.... to be able to sing for you all...! Thank you so much, each and every one of you...!" *tearing up, about to cry but is happy*
"Rin & Len were developed by Crypton Future Media using Yamaha's Vocaloid 2. Their voices were created by taking vocal samples from voice actress Asami Shimoda at a controlled pitch and tone. They were the second release within the "Character Vocal Series," which included the vocals Hatsune Miku and Megurine Luka. Rin was the first of the Kagamines to be illustrated and Len was made to match her, following Crypton's concept.[1]
They received mixed results from producers because compared to Hatsune Miku, they were considered much harder vocals to use. Asami Shimoda noted that she often received comments from Vocaloid fans that Rin's voice echoes within their head and makes them feel dizzy, while Len's higher ranges were not favored by those not fond of the pair entirely.[2]"
In this, you will only be auditioning for Rin. Search up some videos of her voice on YouTube for references if need be. Her voice is High Pitched, and she's a very strong chest-voiced Soprano.
Sing Either Tokyo Teddy Bear, Lost One's Weeping, Kokoro, or Meltdown. (Japanese and/or English is fine.)
"Hi there! The name's Kagamine Rin! I'm 14 and I have a twin brother named Len! He's SO annoying though... Anyways, I love oranges! What do you like?"
"You know... I normally never open up to people like this... you seem like a person I can trust, and I respect that about you. ... Hey. Can I tell you something...? Please, promise me you won't hate me. Please..."
Kagamine Rin & Len (Japanese: 鏡音リン・レン), sometimes referred to as Rin & Len Kagamine, are humanoid personas voiced by a singing synthesizer application developed by Crypton Future Media, headquartered in Sapporo, Japan. They use Yamaha Corporation's Vocaloid 2 and Vocaloid 4 singing synthesizing technology. Their voices are sampled by Asami Shimoda. They have performed at live concerts onstage as animated hologram projections.
Voice Range (Len): D3-C#5 (Original), A2-D4 (Power Append), B2-C4 (Cold Append), A2-C4 (Serious Append)

"EYO! It is I, the amazing Len Kagamine! A virtual singer and the ultimate banana god!"

Megurine Luka (巡音ルカ), codenamed CV03, is a Japanese VOCALOID developed and distributed by Crypton Future Media, Inc., and was initially released in January 2009 for the VOCALOID2 engine. She is the third release of Crypton's Character Vocal Series and is a Character Voice VOCALOID. In March 2015, additional voicebanks and an upgrade to the VOCALOID4 engine were released.

"MEIKO (メイコ) is a Japanese VOCALOID originally developed by Yamaha Corporation and distributed by Crypton Future Media, Inc.. She was one of the 4 known "Project Daisy" vocals. Her VOCALOID3 update was developed and distributed by Crypton Future Media. She was initially released in November 2004 for the first VOCALOID engine. There has since been a second installment developed for the VOCALOID3 engine, dubbed MEIKO V3. Her voice is provided by the Japanese female singer-songwriter, Meiko Haigō (拝郷 メイコ Haigō Meiko)."
"MEIKO's original release was aimed to be a professional and standard vocalist.[15] When MEIKO was updated, the voicebank had to be completely re-done with a similar tone to the original, thus some aspects of the vocal have changed in consequential versions. The vocal was also originally a counter-partner to the KAITO "Straight" vocal."

"Well, if you DON'T help, that cooler inside isn't coming along."

There has since been a second installment developed for the VOCALOID3 engine dubbed KAITO V3. His voice is provided by the famous Japanese singer, Naoto Fūga (風雅なおと)."
"The Original voicebank is based on a professional singer. It was a male Japanese vocal that leaned towards genres such as jazz, but due to its high compatibility with the original VOCALOID engine, was easily adaptable to many other genres of music. When KAITO was updated, the voicebank had to be completely re-done with a similar tone to the original, thus some aspects of the vocal have changed in consequential versions. The vocal was also a counter-partner to the MEIKO "Straight" vocal originally."
Either sing Erase Or Zero, Cantarella, or FLOWER TAIL.
"I could stay a bit longer and have fun in the dark, manager!"

Either sing Echo, Machine Gun, or Mosaic Roll.
"Hey... I'm Gumi. There's really nothing much to know about me though... I like carrots and gummy bears, and I like to sing. What are your interests?"
"Ugh... Seriously Len? You're giving me a headache, you know!"
Camui Gackpo (神威がくぽ Kamui Gakupo), is a Japanese VOCALOID developed and distributed by Internet Co., Ltd. as Gackpoid (がくっぽいど Gakuppoido), which was initially released in July 2008 for the VOCALOID2 engine. Yukari's vocal was released in co-development to her VOICEROID voicebank and was meant to portray a young female vocal with much softness and expression. Yukari's vocal was unique at the time of its release and had several supportive additions including the VOICEROID release. It was a natural vocal that leaned towards genres of music such as Jazz which require a vocal capable of slower tempos.

The IA vocal was originally intended to give a vocal based on the clear and crisp vocal of Lia. It is operatic in nature and noted for its large voice range and tempo range, both being the largest at its time of release. This allowed the voicebank to cover a wide range of roles and music genres.
Sing "Outer Science".
"Hello there human. My name is IA. I'm a digital software used to sing and preform songs. It's nice to meet you."
