A series of animations that follows the Akatsuki on their many misadventures in bounty-hunting and conquering their enemies. While trying to lead his dysfunctional organization to victory with an end goal of world domination, Pain and his crew make new friends and vicious foes as they continue to disrupt the peace in Mayor Palpatine's orderly city.
RULES
• All communication for this project is done via discord.
• Have a good microphone, if you have too much background noise in your audition to the point where it is distracting, it will not be taken into account.
• [Optional] We're looking for voice actors with an extensive vocal range who are willing to voice multiple characters, so if you think that's up your alley, audition for multiple roles in the production. With that said, even if you only audition for one role, we'll still cast you if we think it's best suited to the role!
• If you're auditioning for the role of a recurring character, please know that if you are cast, you will be expected to return for a multitude of episodes in the series!

Deidara is a major antagonist in Naruto Shippuden and a major character in Lego Akatsuki. He is very short-tempered and often tends to overreact to things. He is something of a sadistic arsonist who's most distinctive trait was his love of his art, which usually took the form of his own explosions.

"You think you're so cool! And those eyes make me sick! Always judging me... and my art!! You have no appreciation of the beauty of my work... and it makes me want to kill you!!"
Itachi Uchiha is a major anti-hero in Naruto and Naruto Shippuden and a major character in Lego Akatsuki. He is the older brother of Sasuke Uchiha and a member of the Akatsuki. Itachi is suffering from "ninja sickness", an illness so dire that it has nerfed his powers and abilities. He possesses incredible self-control of his emotions and constantly displays an emotionless personality.
"My foolish brother... if you want to kill me... curse me! Hate me! And live a long and unsightly life... Run away... run away... and cling to your pitiful life. And then someday, when you have the same eyes as I do, come before me."
"You are weak. Why are you so weak? Because you lack... hatred."

Tobi is one of the main antagonists of Naruto Shippuden and a major character in Lego Akatsuki. He is cheerful, playful, and very teasing, harboring an innocent and lovable personality. His voice is goofy and high-pitched.

"Hey, hey, hey! Deidara, look at that! A dumpling shop! Let's take a breather, can we? Can we? We've been walking all day I'm totally exhausted!" [Chaotic laughter]

Homelander is the main antagonist of The Boys TV series and a major character in Lego Akatsuki. He is the leader of The Seven and the most popular superhero in the world who is a lovable and charismatic patriot. Behind the scenes, however, he is a sociopathic narcissist who will kill anyone who disobeys him in the blink of an eye.
Try to emulate Antony Starr's performance of the character in your audition! Do not worry about being exact, you can add in a bit of your own take!

Annie January, otherwise known by her hero alias, Starlight, is the deuteragonist of The Boys TV series and a major character in Lego Akatsuki. Unlike the other members of her team, she is a genuine hero with good intentions and a pure heart, capable of showing compassion and remorse.
You can either try to sound like Erin Moriarty when voicing this role or do your own take on the character!

A-Train is a major antagonist in The Boys TV series and a major character in Lego Akatsuki. He is a speedster and a member of The Seven, the most popular superhero team. A-Train is a complex individual with many inner struggles. He is self-centered and mostly interested in fame, fortune, and publicity rather than helping others.

Queen Maeve is a major anti-hero in The Boys TV series and a major character in Lego Akatsuki. She is a member of The Seven. Queen Maeve's public image is that of a warrior, a feminist, a humanitarian, and a role model, but, in reality, is a generally depressed, broken, disillusioned, and cynical person.
Try to emulate Dominique McElligott's performance of the character in your audition! Do not worry about being exact, you can add in a bit of your own take!
"Homelander. Enough. The only thing she's guilty of is being fucking stupid. She obviously fell for this 'Hugh Campbell guy', he's pumping her for information... so back off, leave her alone!"
"I really did want to make a difference. I really did care. I was just like you. And then I started giving pieces of myself away and I guess I gave away everything."
"Everyone always asks, what's our special weakness? Gamma rays? Iron daggers? Some ridiculous, stupid thing? The truth is, our weakness is the same as anyones. It's people. The people we care about."
We are not looking for a specific take on Batman for this series as he is very much his own character here. He is not as serious as his comic counterpart but isn't as goofy as he is in the Lego Batman Movie. Batman is shown to be self-centered and somewhat bitter following the deaths of the entire Justice League. Batman resents The Seven and believes himself to be the greatest superhero ever, possessing a huge ego.
"It seems that The Joker has successfully bat-proofed this vehicle. Strapped to the truck are the decomposing bodies of my parents. If I go within 25ft of them, I will be hit with wave upon wave of debilitating flashbacks, the kind of which I will not emerge for at least 5 minutes."
"No, no, I'm retired I just uh... I'm not gonna stop wearing my Batman costume. I'm Batman still. I still go out on the prowl... if I see crime it's just... it's not my problem."

The Joker is one of the main antagonists of the DC Universe and a guest character in Lego Akatsuki. In this series, he was dumped by Harley and was forced to retire from his life of crime after Batman went missing. Despite not sharing the appearance of the Heath Ledger Joker in this series, we're looking for a comical take emulating his voice for the character.
"Hi, I would like to order 1 large cheese pizza, please. Yeah, just deliver it to Batman's lair, you know, the Batcave. [Laughter] Thanks. Heh. Let's see Batman get out of this one."
"Hey, cut me a break would ya? I was forced to retire after you did, Batman! Now I'm working at Mcdonald's and getting paid $3 an hour. Don't you know how unsafe it is to be a criminal these days? The Seven don't just give you a slap on the wrist and send you to Arkham like you used to! Homelander paralyzed Bane and decapitated Mad Hatter. That's no fun at all!"
"Not so fast, Batman. I have a bus full of children hanging from the top of a skyscraper in West Gotham. A detonator has been given to the mayor of this city that if pressed, will snap the wire holding the bus on said skyscraper. Now, the mayor is hooked up to a machine I invented that is slowly drilling a hole into the side of his head. If he doesn't use said detonator to kill said children, then a bomb will go off in Gotham City library, BUT... if the library---"
Ashley Barrett is a major antagonist in The Boys TV series and is a guest character in Lego Akatsuki. She is the Director of Talent Relations for Vought International and the primary manager of The Seven. Ashley is a deceptive self-promoting liar who has a general disregard for others. She has no real power over The Seven and is terrified of Homelander, willing to do his bidding out of fear. She is overworked and stressed, but also possesses self-confidence when talking down to her subordinates.

"I have spent over 100 hours in crisis management meetings specifically figuring out how to cover up your bullshit... including all three of your straight-up murders... while you were out in the club with your crew, or getting your toe sucked by Popclaw, who, let's not forget, you also murdered. Yeah, that's right. I know about that. You did not give a shit about all the collateral you caused then. Now, all of a sudden, you care because it happened to you? Go fuck yourself."
"Is your idiot brain getting fucked by stupid? It's not rhetorical. Answer me."
"You're gonna get to run again! Can I get a 'what-what?'. Look, you'll need insane amounts of rehab but luckily you heal fast, bro. We're gonna get you back in your old suit. We're gonna get you out there ASAP. Oh my god, I almost forgot! We are already working on your new movie! 'Training A-Train', a gritty biopic. You're a roughneck gangbanger from the southside, when a track coach, we're thinking Tom Hanks... teaches you a more civilized way!"
We are looking for a voice actor to voice every clone trooper in the series, including but not limited to Commander Cody, Senate Commandos, 501st Legion, and many more!
An impression similar to that of either Temuera Morrison or Dee Bradley Baker would be best.

Peter Parker / Spider-Man is a guest character in Lego Akatsuki. He is an incredibly popular vigilante, who rivals the success of The Seven and is hated by them as a result. Unlike The Seven, however, he is a genuinely good superhero who strives to help people in danger and save lives.
"I'm just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man."
"I guess it's easy to laugh in the face of danger when you don't take anything too seriously."
"And that means Spider-Man is going into action again! I'll fight as I've never fought before!! Nothing will stop me now!! For I know at last that a man can't change his destiny... and I was born to be... Spider-Man!!"
Walter Hartwell White is the main protagonist turned antagonist of Breaking Bad. He is a demanding, calculating and ruthless meth cook and drug kingpin who goes into business with the Akatsuki, manufacturing his product for them to deal with on the streets.
An impression of Bryan Cranston's portrayal of the character is a must.

Tanjiro Kamado is the main protagonist of the Demon Slayer series and a guest character in Lego Akatsuki. He is kind by nature and exhibits a great deal of determination and will not give up once he has a goal to achieve.
"If you can't tell the difference between good demons and bad ones, then you don't deserve to be a Hashira!"
"You've killed and eaten a lot of people! So don't play the victim! Your whole being is twisted! And I can't forgive that! You devil! I'm going to cut off your head!"

Zenitsu Agatsuma is a major character in the Demon Slayer series and a guest character in Lego Akatsuki. He is in a constant state of anxiety and paranoia, always crying and trying to run away from the sight of risk.

Inosuke Hashibira is a major character in the Demon Slayer series and a guest character in Lego Akatsuki. He is an extremely short-tempered and proud man who always likes to think he is the strongest fighter in a situation, constantly challenging most people he comes across and wanting others to respect and praise him for his skill.
"Just cutting off your head won't be enough!! I'm gonna send you to hell!"

"When you lose to someone smaller than you, it destroys your soul!"
Tony Stark / Iron Man is a guest character in Lego Akatsuki. He is one of the leading members of The Avengers, a new superhero team that rivals The Seven after its formation. He is egotistical and proud, believing The Seven to be washed-up old frauds.
"My bond is with the people, and I will serve this great nation at the pleasure of myself. If there's one thing I've proven it's that you can count on me to please myself."
"A hero? Like you? You're a lab rat, Rogers. Everything special about you came out of a bottle!"
