Project Overview

Hello CCC! You may know me from Spider Queen and while I am still excited and casting roles for that, this is not the place. 


Moth: A Dating Sim was a game I made in 2 days where you can date either the moth your dating, three moths or build your friendship with Billy. There are three endings to the game, achievable through pursuing one of the characters above. If you wish to play the game you can by clicking here. It's free and you can play it in your browser! 

Anyway, now it's been done I've decided to try and make a video of all three endings but with added complete voicing for the characters. And this is where you guys come in! This is a short game, each ending taking from 3-5 minutes each, resulting in the game taking about 10 minutes to complete. You will receive full credit for your role, but for some roles, the final thing will be your audition. Don't worry - if this is the case I will tell you. 

And now for the rules -
- Don't be rude to other people, may it be cast members or people auditioning for a similar role or whatever - I will not allow it! Deconstructive criticism counts here as well, please be constructive. I will have to ask you to leave.


-I will send you all the lines at once if you get the role and will expect them back within a week. You will only have a few lines each so this hopefully shouldn't take you long. However, if personal problems come up, please let me know.


-If you have any other credit methods that you would like please tell me. 

-Please do not make this project last in production longer than it needs to be. While this is a silly game, please do not do things that will purposely make people angry, pissed off, attack others or anything similar.

- You are allowed to say your lines more than once, but no more than five. You are allowed to re do it.

The moth who you planned to have a date with at the start of the game. Whether you stick with that plan is up to you.


Your Love's voice should sound like they are patient and will give one to many second chances. They speak optimistically and with happiness. So their voice shouldn't sound like they've just witnessed all their family crash and burn in a car accident, but instead got their life achievements. I'd recommend speaking with your normal voice just with a happy tone to it.

  • I set up our date at the top of the ladders! I can't remember which though. It's troubling. Will you go up and check for me?

Cousin Moth

Your Love's cousin. A bit territorial around them but has a lot of love to give.


Cousin Moth has a gruff voice but is also strict. He will get to the point and fast but will easily make mistakes. He forgives for his mistakes but will reminiscent on them at later dates. He is kinda like you mixed your stereotypical mean bully with a police officer if you need a reference for his voice.

  • Are you dating my cousin? Wait - you are? Oh...

  • You can go in. Your love is waiting for you inside. Just don't try any funny buisness or I'll hurt you!

Three moths triplets, all of whom are looking for love.  They are listed together, but you can audition for only one, two or all three if you want. 


Moth 1 is the most kind but the most superficial. They are much nicer in the tone of their voice than the others but will betray you for diamonds, pearls, jewels you name it.

Moth 2 is the one who doesn't exactly know their place in the group or in life but love you in such a way that makes it seem like you're their only purpose in life.

Moth 3 is the most straightforward. They are the one you end up cheating with at the end of the game. They have a seductive tone to their voice and speak with a high position.

Joe./Bob is a disbeliever in your love, but has a wife and kid. While his wife shares his opinion his son is actually pretty cool.


Joe/Bob is like that stereotypical christian white dad who has strict beliefs and is quick to judge and express his hatred for people outside his beliefs. His voice is naggy and judging, in a low tone.

Helen is a disbeliever in your love, but has a husband and kid. While her husband shares her opinion her son is actually pretty cool.


Helen is like a soccer mom at a PTA meeting with strict beliefs. Infact, if you've ever watched a PTA mocking video with a Helen, specifically the line "Fight me Helen" then you'll know the character I'm trying to get across here. She's judgy and strict with a mean girl vibe to her. She speaks in a high tone.

Billy is that one neighbour hood kid with strict parents with totally different views. He's cool.

Billy, being a little kid, has a little kid voice. He's fun loving and kind and just wants to be friends. While he is sad when you don't want to play with him, he is understanding, but he's still a little kid. He has a high pitch to his voice but his voice is more neutral in tone.

Shopkeeper is incharge of a various knick nacks shop that sells jewels, crowns and eyeballs?


For this role, think of a typical salesman trying to sell you something, but they've got that feeling that makes you feel at home with them with their soothing voice. For this role, speaking in your normal voice but making it seem like you're superior to everyone else and that people should come to you would be best.

Barista's

The Barista's are all working at MothBucks, but in reality there's only one person truely doing their job.


Each audition line is for a different barista.

Barista 1 has a more sarcastic tone to their voice. They're more prepared to crack a joke than do their job as they don't have the motivation to do it.

Barista 2 is bright and chipper and eager to help you! They're always positive and will actually get you your order on time. They do have a bit of a high and mighty tone to their voice as they're a bit self aware.

Barista 3 is a more monotone voice that sounds like they wouldn't give a shit if you decided to steal everything from the store.

  • Don't tell my boss but I'm not feeling up to doing my job. Have a donut free of charge kiddo.

These are just extra roles that need to be casted.


Line 1 for each sentance are separate customers. They're all angry and speak fast and madly.

Line 2 is a tired and depressed student who speaks in a monotone but calmly. They don't want a fight.

Line 3 is an angry person breaking up with their fiance over the phone after a distressed phone call. They aren't specifically speaking to you, but from their angry tone you can judge that they don't want to talk.
