[Voice Extras] Do You Know Where Your Kids Are?
Project Overview
(You do not need to submit multiple auditions of your reel) This listing is specifically for general voice actors. These roles will fill side characters in each episode. If you are good at doing infomercials, teenagers, children, or other unspecified politicians and news anchors, this listing is for you! [This project is in active production. You will be added during our recording process for our pilot episode. Things might move very fast, but there will be plenty of documentation and a quick orientation to help get you acquainted. ]
When looking for talent, I prefer all my roles to have natural/realistic voices. Please avoid cartoony/anime-ish voices.
Do You Know Where Your Kids Are? is a reimagining of Cryptid Paranormal Investigators, originally created by Moral-Skull Productions. This new version will rewrite and retell a cohesive story, blending familiar characters with new faces, all under the umbrella of MetaChrome Studios, where our focus is on original audio dramas.
The series captures the spirit of classic monster-of-the-week shows like Scooby-Doo, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, and Goosebumps, while also drawing inspiration from the eerie charm of old internet creepypastas. If you were once a creepypasta fan, this project is for you.
the story follows Zeke Batson, a teen reintegrating into the strange world around him after years of isolation. As he begins high school, Zeke meets new friends - Fauna and Naomi - and together they face a string of creepy, unsettling events that blur the lines between the paranormal and reality.
MetaChrome Studios’ Policies & Commitments:
We maintain a strict anti-bullying, anti-homophobia, anti-transphobia, and anti-racism policy.

All roles are for actors 18+ only.

This project is independently funded and committed to equitable, inclusive, and safe creative practices.

Jennifer Hewitt is a no-nonsense, fast-talking news reporter with a style very much inspired by Nancy Grace. She’s sharp, opinionated, and dramatic, often delivering her lines with a mix of urgency and performative outrage. This is a minor reoccurring role, but the right actor can make her unforgettable.
We’re looking for someone who can parody Nancy Grace convincingly, leaning into her cadence, tone, and intensity while keeping it fun and exaggerated. Actors are encouraged to watch clips of Nancy Grace to capture the rhythm, energy, and signature delivery that make this character instantly recognizable.
It just blows my mind! What as parents are we teaching our kids? This is not the first time we have seen kids idolizing killers on the internet. My problem here is nothing else makes sense. Here's what I think. There's no way this 11 year old murdered the family in their sleep and carried their bodies downstairs! Like come on, something is not adding up!
