Voice actor needed for BIG role (MALE)

Project Overview

This is an ambitious and long overdue project that I have only recently finished writing. I need a dozen roles to be filled by you lovely people :)

The series was started 6 years ago, and I need to finish it before I go insane. It's an apocalyptic, fantasy type series, following a group of survivors in an unforgiving world.

One of the characters, called Nathaniel, was cast at one point. Then the voice actor decided to bail on the project. It's important to me, that the new voice actor will sound as close to the original as possible, so please watch the video, if you'd like that role - It will give you an understanding of what I'd want him to sound like :)

However, if you're not sure you can mimic him and have another idea of a voice he could have, you are welcome to send me an audition as well
I really just need to cast soon.

However, I expect that you have experience in voice acting and committed to do many lines in the course of more than 100 pages.
If you have a terrible microphone, it really diminishes your chances as well.

Thanks for your time!

Unpaid
Role assigned to: Joshua Nicholson

Please watch this video to get an idea of how he sounds like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPEuo75SZ-c&feature=youtu.be

Nathaniel is a conflicted character. He spent many years to work for a big secret project as a scientist. The machine he builds, leads to the downfall of humanity. He is now a member of a small village, where he drinks his sorrows away. He has a daughter, whom he loves, but rarely spend time with.

He is very optimistic now that he has found another character, that can potentially help him undo his wrongs. This is pretty much the only thing that keeps him focused.

If you seem good for the role and I pick you, then I'll explain more in debth.

  • Be careful with that! It’s very fragile!

  • There we go. Before I do this, I have to make this absolutely clear: you must not wake us up. The consequences could be fatal for the both of us. Frankly I’m not even sure what would happen... Now, for the launch code...

  • I know this might look bad, but I want you to understand, that it is no coincidence that you and I met. And for what its worth, our cooperation has the potential to change everything. For the better of everyone.
