Project Overview
I’m looking for a voice that has a younger feel, closer to a young male adult voice, while still being able to deliver serious and suspenseful documentary-style narration. The style is similar to Dr. Insanity — using real police incidents, bodycam footage, 911 calls, interrogations, court records, and case files. I'm looking for a talented male voice actor for a long-term true crime YouTube channel.
The voice should sound like a young adult (roughly 20–30 years old) with a natural, conversational delivery. I'm looking for a style similar to the narration used by Dr. Insanity—calm, confident, engaging, and capable of building suspense without sounding overly dramatic or like a movie trailer.
The ideal voice should be able to:
Keep viewers engaged throughout 20–40 minute documentaries.
Tell stories naturally, with clear pacing and excellent pronunciation.
Convey tension, curiosity, and emotion when appropriate while remaining authentic.
Sound professional, modern, and easy to listen to.
Deliver clean, studio-quality recordings with minimal background noise.
