Project Overview
Welcome!
This group is purely for fun. If, along the line, any profits are made from Youtube (where the english cover videos will be posted), then the income will be split among members. However, no money is guaranteed from this project, so please join if you are willing to do this for the sole purpose of getting yourself out there and having a good time!
This group will be fairly relaxed, so there are no worries about deadlines. While there will still be some, they will be flexible and easy to uphold.
Editing and visuals will be done by myself (unless someone lovely would wish to make some art!) so there will be no problems when it comes to “Will we be able to get someone to mix audio tracks?” or “Can anyone do composites?” That will all be taken care of!
All you need to audition is:
A semi-decent mic! I can do mixing and noise reduction, as well as normalizing and compression. However, those can only go so far. Any set up will do, so long as there’s fairly good sound and minimal background noise.
Discord! As most projects do, this group will be communicating through a discord central hub. The link to the server will be listed down below, so keep an eye out! If you are cast, or if you like the project in general, I’d love it if you could be in the discord.
A positive, ready-to-go attitude. This group is in no way professional, so I don’t expect you to be. Feel free to act goofy and fun, but don’t be rude to any of the others in the project or discord. It’s all about having a good time!

Will you be pre-casting?
Totally depends on if the voice fits or not! It’s all about who’s right for what role, not who shows up earliest or who auditions latest.
Will you be multi-casting?
Again, depends on who we’re talking about. If someone was perfect for both a Rin role and an IA role, I’d gladly give them both if no one else was fit for the role.
Can I audition for more than one role?
Of course! Audition for any role you’d like. Male vocaloids are welcome to have female voices and vice versa as we aren’t trying to imitate the voices they already have. We’re looking for a totally new, rockin’ voice to fit the roles. All you need is a good range, and you’re blarin’ and rarin’ for action!
Do we have a say in what songs are covered?
Yes indeed. Even if you aren’t cast for a role, you can still help decide which songs will be chosen for covers and which songs will be saved for later. You can also help decide who will sing what song, and if it will be a chorus or a solo (or a duet, trio, etc etc.)
Will I get a solo?
Everyone who is cast will be guaranteed a solo song, and possibly more. No song is limited to one specific singer. For example; a Len Kagamine song could be covered by the Luka Megurine singer. There’s no limit to who sings what, no matter gender or voice range. Pitches can be changed, after all.
A youtube channel has already been made for the group. I will link it after the first song is made, and it will be posted in the discord. Thank you so much for reading this incredibly long introduction, and I sincerely hope you will consider auditioning!

Hatsune Miku generally has a high-pitched voice, but interpret her how you would wish! We're not looking for imitations, remember!

Rin Kagamine has a high range with a cute style. Feel free to show this in your audition, but don't think you're limited to this!

Len Kagamine has an upper-ranged male voice, but you ladies are welcome to audition for him without needing a male-sounding voice. A feminine voice is welcome, too!

Luka Megurine is a voice bank with a feminine, adult voice. Interpret this in your audition in whatever way you wish!

KAITO is a deep voice bank, although he also has a good mid-range and high-range.

IA generally sings high songs, but is probably a mezzo-soprano? I'm not too sure about that, to be honest. However, you can sing in whatever tone you'd like.

Gakupo most likely has the lowest voice in the vocaloids listed, but you don't have to in order to get this role! We'd prefer a lower voice, but we're open to whatever!

Meiko is a low-pitched alto vocaloid with a sultry voice.

Gumi has a wide range, so we're not looking for anything too specific.

Mayu is a rather high-pitched vocaloid with the appearance of a child. Sing whatever fits her range, even if it's in a different key!

If you'd like to do art for the project, that would be great! However, an artist is not necessary to start the project.
