Vocaloid Chorus - Cendrillon
Project Overview
This is a Vocaloid cover group! We will be doing a chorus version of Cendrillon first, and the auditions are for that. Ideally, I'm looking for a longer-term group of people, but if you only have time for this cover, that's alright too!
Also looking for artists and mixers. I can mix myself, but if someone is more experienced, I'd appreciate it!
Audition Info:
- Sing a vocaloid song or any song in japanese that showcases your voice the best. A cappella or backing track is fine, as long as you're audible.
- 16+. I'm 18, and would prefer to work with people around my age. However, if your singing fits best with the group, I'll make an exception.
- Must be able to stay on pitch for the most part. Everyone goes sharp or flat sometimes, but not all of it can be covered up with autotune. Some understanding of staying on pitch is necessary.
- Have discord or be willing to download it.
- Minimal background noise. No specific mic requirement, I know everyone has a different budget. However, be able to record in a way where your voice is clear, and there is no background noise. It makes it so much easier to mix.
- I'll provide feedback on auditions if asked.

About you! (write or speak it)

3) Do you have any experience with music or singing?
4) Can you follow a harmony if you're given a guide track or sheet music?
5) What is your comfortable range if you know? For example... mine is e3-e5. If you don't know how to figure it out, I'll help you with that if you get casted.
Make sure to talk about comfortable range: what you're most comfortable at singing. Bigger isn't better! This is just to see what works best for you in terms of harmonies and fitting together voice parts.
Sing any song in Japanese. Choose something that showcases your voice the best! Backing track is okay, but make sure I can hear you properly. No autotune or any other vocal effects.
You can sing a second song if you choose- this one doesn't have to be in Japanese. [Optional]
I can sort of mix on my own, but admittedly I don't have a ton of experience. If you think you can mix voices well, apply here! Link me to anything you've tried to mix before, or pm me to email it.
Say something you think would fit
This project will have simple videos- everyone will have an OC and they will be highlighted when they're singing, similar to a Nico Nico chorus video.

Also: I'll do videos if no one else steps up, but if someone particularly enjoys video editing, please do it! Again, link or email me examples of previous work.
