Villain Musical Number (Minecraft Animation Project)
Project Overview
INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND:
For this musical number, you will be singing for the character of Bryce, the main villain of my story. Please try your best to match the tone of the voice actor at 11:48 in this episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXK8358YIxk (feel free to use this character's dialogue overall throughout this episode as inspiration)
The goal of this musical number is to recap the events of the previous seasons of my project while moving the plot forward in this season. I've always wanted a villainous musical number and this happened to fit perfectly.
HOW TO AUDITION:
1. Listen to each clip of me singing the musical number attached in the video here and get a feel for each section. (check chapter times)
2. Record yourself matching my subpar singing the best you can. Do this while playing the non-vocal clip in your headphones. Interpretation is allowed and encouraged!! I'm mostly looking for the right notes, general rhythm, words and pronunciation. Do not mix your voice with the music clip (I will do so on my end)
3. Repeat for each clip.
VOICE REQUIREMENTS:
-Must use discord and be able to send files via discord, google drive, or email
-Looking for a voice similar to either Bryce in the attached episode or my voice in the clip.
-Please make sure there aren't any microphone peaks. Give yourself plenty of distance to belt.
-Vocal microphones are best, but others can work.
