Who is Tycer?
Hello! I'm Tycer, a Minecraft Youtuber who focuses on producing 360 videos on the TycerVR channel. 5 Mil Monthly Views
On my YouTube channel 'TycerVR' I produce two videos a week with my 'Friends' within our 'World' of Minecraft. These are semi-scripted improvised Minecraft Videos where my group of creators plays/reacts/improvs through different scenarios!
These vary from 'Escaping SCP 096!' to playing 'Hide and Seek with Cameras!' and depend on the series we're filming at the time. Currently I have two serises running; one focused on going to other scenarios/worlds and completing 'Missions'; alongside a more casual series on our 'Friend Island'.
Why do you need an Editor?
I currently edit episodes myself, alongside one other editor. I'm looking for 1 - 2 more editors to join in a freelance capacity to assist in scaling up content production, and improve video turnaround times.
What are you Looking for in an Editor?
The editing process is one of the most important in the video production process; hence I am looking for a skilled editor, who can bring a creative flair to each piece of work they create! Job duties are as follows;
- Taking Raw footage, Cutting and Trimming it down to fit the Story and Narrative of the episode
- Adjusting Vocal tracks to prevent Audio Clipping and to provide a clean sound stage
- Making Artistic decisions on best bits to keep, and what to cut from footage to produce a high quality edit that appeals to Kids/Teens
- Bringing a Creative Flair to find Music & SFX on Epidemic Sound to add to the edit, to aid in storytelling and viewer engagement (Very Important)
- Exporting via Project Manager to Google Drive for review
Example Edit?
Please look at my channel, to see the quality of edits and standard expected. Typical edits are between 12 - 20 minutes in length. A final editing timeline looks Like This
360 Videos?
All my YouTube videos are in a 360 format. However, the video editing process isn't much (if at all) different to 'Standard' video. I am happy to assist and offer advice, as needed.
Technical Requirements:
- Adobe Premiere Pro (Latest Version)
- Google Drive Access
- Discord
- Ability to turnaround Edits in 2 - 4 Days
Ideals:
- Experience editing 360 Content
- Experience with sourcing Music & SFX from Epidemic Sound
- Previous Experience editing YouTube, Minecraft and Kids format content
- Knowledge of editing with Proxy workflows in Premiere

Pay:
Pay is per project/video. On a sliding scale from $45 USD to $70 depending on video length.
