VESTIGIOS — English Dub (Student Short Film)
Project Overview
We are a group of film students from Alicante (Spain) and we’ve recently completed a short film titled Vestigios.
The story takes place after a global catastrophe known as “The Thaw”, where an ancient virus emerges and forces humanity into isolated shelters.
We are looking for English-speaking voice actors (preferably with a neutral or American accent) to create a dubbed version of the film.
This is an unpaid project, but all participants will be fully credited and can use the material for their portfolio.
The short is around 10 minutes long and focuses on atmosphere, psychological tension and character-driven storytelling.

Quiet, introspective, emotionally restrained. He questions everything around him. His tone is calm but slowly becomes more unstable as the story progresses.
“I don’t think he got infected by accident… What if he wanted it?”
Warm and grounded, but slightly dismissive of Yago’s concerns. Represents normality and denial.
“I think you’re just having nightmares.”
More practical and defensive. Gets irritated easily when things are questioned. Protective but closed-minded.
“Stop it. You’re overthinking everything.”
Calm, controlled, almost emotionally detached. Carries a quiet sense of authority and hidden concern. Slightly unsettling.
“We believe whatever is outside… has changed.”
Anxious, distressed. Appears in recordings. His voice should reflect fear, guilt and mental instability.
“I made a mistake… I couldn’t control it… I couldn’t control anything.”
Calm, documentary-style voice. Clear, neutral delivery with an authoritative and informative tone. Should feel like a news report or scientific explanation from the early 2000s.
The performance must be natural and controlled, avoiding excessive dramatization, but with a subtle underlying tension.
“In early 2014, an unprecedented thaw released an ancient microorganism that had remained frozen for thousands of years.”
