Venenum is going to be an animated Short Film based off of a short story that I wrote. In it, a girl must infiltrate a government storage unit to procure a protective yellow cloak for her next door neighbor. This yellow cloak protects people from the sickening effects of the Aeris Venenum, a toxin in the air that has been spreading throughout their non-specified country.
This is just for fun. I will need voice actors for four roles, an animator, an audio engineer, a music composer, and a producer. I will write the script. I don’t have discord, but if the actors want to set one up amongst themselves for rehearsal purposes, that’s fine by me.
When you receive the script, practice your lines so you know how you are going to say them, then send them to me via this website. I will send them to the audio engineer so they can splice it all together. Then the audio engineer can send the audio to the animator, who can animate the film and send the finished project to the producer, who can add credits and put the video up on youtube, probably.
She is the main POV character, though really, no one has very many lines. She is best friends with her next door neighbor, Calib, though she gets annoyed at his irresponsibility sometimes.
“Calib! Those cloaks are irreplaceable! How could you be so irresponsible?”
(Laughs deliriously) “Ha! No! You owe me much more ice cream for this than we originally planned!”
“Don’t try to guilt-trip me... it works too well.”
Roxanna’s next door neighbor and best friend. Can be rather irresponsible, and is extremely good at guilt-tripping Roxanna.
“It may or may not be being used as a lining for my winter blankets.”
“What? It’s warm!” (Defensively)
“You know, they do safety drills to make sure we’re prepared for if the filtration systems fail. What am I supposed to do without a cloak? How are you going to feel if I end up dying?” (Major Guilt-trip)
A government agent who works alongside Government Agent 2.
“Why do you keep this experimentation a secret from our superiors?” (Worried)
“Who’s there?”
Shady Government Agent who works alongside Government Agent 1.
“Not everyone is willing to do all it takes to win a war.” (Dark)
“Look, if we can find a cure, we’ll be heroes.” (Desperate)
Basically, you just need to add credits, and maybe a title sequence, and upload this to youtube or some other platform.
