Valkyrie ( Macross Delta + English Cover Group)

Project Overview

Welcome to Valkyrie!

This is an group covering Macross songs in English!

We're starting with a handful  Walkure songs available and seeing where to go from there.

As of now I'm hoping anyone interested in providing vocals can step in for other staff positions  as well ( such as mixing and video ), the more you can help the better you're chances!

 If the group is successful, then I will look to commission  custom instrumentals of songs not typically available and maybe even look into other types of songs to cover.

I intend to be a bit strict on due dates, so please be prepared to set aside some time for this project. Also, when it comes to line distribution, parts will be split up to give everyone a chance to sing more. 

Everyone except for Mikumo is open because shameless selfcast.


What I am looking for:

X Vocalists open to feedback- I want the covers to be the best they can be so I will be providing  productive feedback  and I am expecting vise versa ( If accepted or asked directly ) 

X Similar, not exact- Vocals that capture similar singing styles to the original vocalists and provide a diverse group. Honestly, as long as there is a blend I am happy.

X Communication- If something comes up, be open to talking to the group, and respond to any updates

X Mic Quality- At least something with no heavy static please.

X Please be open to being cast as a character you didn't audition for

I am fully aware I am not the best person out there BUT I know what I am working for and I want it.  I am very happy with my current cast and I am looking to compliment their voices. I am in no way trying to deter anyone wanting to audition. I just want you to give it your all. If you do not have time, I will be able to tell.

I am looking for an extremely powerful voice that conveys a lot of emotion. At the beginning of this process I was going to self cast,  so I will be comparing the auditions to myself in terms of power and emotion. 

Sheryl very frequently switches from singing with her diaphragm to head voice, so I'm looking for someone who can effectively emulate this. ( Doesn't have to be exact, just please don't audition in purely head or chest voice )

I'm looking for a soft sweet voice. As I said with Sheryl I want someone who has a knowledge of the diaphragm, chest, and head voice since Ranka switches between these ( Mostly chest and head voice ) 

She sings with emotion, but she more often than not is very cheerful, so it would help to sing while actually smiling. I have an idea of what I want, but I cannot post an example here. I am definitely open to interpretations.
