Project Overview
Hello!
I have been working on an animation patent for a series I want to make, however I can't fully animate it since I have no voices yet. This project has only two roles and is very short as both characters have 5-6 lines of varying length. VAs who enter this project do not have to come back to return their roles as this is just for the animation patent, however I will be making follow-up CCC posts like this one as I make each scene. The storyboard and animatic is already done, I mostly just need to edit in your voices so I can show it to people so they get a good idea as to what I'm making.

Mochi is one of the two characters in this scene. They are a 3-tailed fox and the main character though they have slightly less lines than Odyssey in this scene.
To set the scene, Mochi has just gotten off work for the last day but when casually being asked about the draft by an official Mochi panicked and lied about being a 'wish granter' a job exclusive to a very rare type of kitsune which Mochi is not. Mochi is telling Odyssey (their best friend) all of this after having just gotten back from his usually soothing job, though is comforted to find that the small village away from the war that they are moving to may help cover up.
MOCHI (Hesitant): Yeahh Odyssey, I've got bad and bad-er news.
MOCHI (Anxious): That, not only am I moving to the Crossroads, but I’m going to become a wishgranter there.
MOCHI (Regaining Composure): Wait, really? Thank you so much!
Odyssey is one of the two roles in this scene. She is a calico cat who works at a photography shop.
To set the scene: Odyssey is packing things away to prepare for her and Mochi (her best friend) to move to the Crossroads, a relatively conflict-free village that isn't involved in the war. Mochi comes in having lied to an official after getting worried they'd be in the draft. As per Odyssey's optimistic nature, she reassures Mochi, telling them that she knows everyone there from a past visit, and that she's sure they'll happily cover up for Mochi until they're in the clear.
ODYSSEY (Enthusiastic): Hey last day before we go to the Crossroads! How’s it hanging Mr. Just-finished-their-last-shift?
ODYSSEY: Bad-er as in good news because batter tastes good?
ODYSSEY (Content): No problem man, how about you chill with me and have some tea? It’ll get your mind off of all that negativity.
