VA's NEEDED (ANIMATORS TOO) FOR CSM MANGA DUB (AND SKITS)! (With Editing and Animations - Call #3)
Project Overview
NOTE 1: ANYONE WHO AUDITIONS FOR THIS PROJECT AND IS CAST HAS THE OPPORTUNITY TO VOICE THE SAME CHARACTER IN MY CSM SKITS AS WELL! SKITS LIKE THE ONES YOU FIND ON YT.
Hey, there! I am currently casting for characters found in Chainsaw Man for the Control Devil Arc! My intention with this project is to make a manga dub "episodes" covering the entirety of this arc, with each video being around 15-20+ minutes (sort of like the length of an anime episode). The videos will consist of voice acting along with sound effects and transitions. My end goal is to dub the entirety of the Chainsaw Man manga, and it continues with this arc! Once an edit is completed, it will be posted on my TikTok (DoomSonyVA), so if you'd like, please check out my page!

Future Casting Calls will be posted for future arcs as soon as I reach them. Attached to the Casting Call is an example of what a video consists of. It covers the manga dub for the most part, then manga animations, and then animations. Please watch the entire video and if you are interested in auditioning, then follow the directions below:
Please submit files in either mp3 or WAV format (it's preferred but if you must send in other formats, then go ahead)! Also include your discord in submission as well!
Please title your files with YourName_Character'sName
A maximum of 3 takes! I'd prefer 1 or 2, depending on how drastically different your delivery of the lines will be.
This is optional, but I'd prefer it if you did have a proper recording setup, but even a phone under a blanket will do just fine.
Go ahead and audition for as many characters as you want! There is a chance to be cast for multiple characters!

When it comes to who gets cast, I will be announcing that in my discord server prior to assigning the role here on Casting Call Club! To anyone interested in joining my server, I will be posting a link at the very end of this description.

*Nayuta agrees to turn Yoru back to normal under some conditions* "Okay. I'll turn her back. On two conditions. If you won't abide by them, I'll leave her a dog for life. One. From now on, you let me eat ice cream every day. Two. No more getting friendly with her."
*Nayuta and Denji arrive back at their home, finding it on fire. Nayuta is horrified and clearly worried about their pets* "AAAAAH!! The pets..." (Tip - really scream for this line - I mean it haha).
Need a Pochita VA for this current Arc and future ones. This is a very long term role.

Also, this role will be primarily effort sounds/noises. Since Pochita rarely speaks and just fights in this form.

Need a Reze VA for this current Arc for one to two lines (lol).This is a short role unless you are down for voicing in my skit videos as well.
For direction: If you can, try to sound like the EN VA of Reze. However, this is just a bonus. For example, I'm going to be voicing Denji and I DO NOT sound like his EN VA at all. As long as your acting is solid, I will heavily consider you for the role! I prioritize acting over voices so just give it your best acting!

*Reze asking Denji about whether or not he went to school* "You've really never gone to school, Denji? Not even grade school? Isn't that, like... kinda, you know... bad? More like... messed up. At 16, you're still just a kid, you know? It's when most kids are studying to get into college, throwing themselves into a club or a sport, hanging out with friends... but you're killing devils, almost getting killed yourself... is this public safety place you're with right now really a good place?"
*Reze under Makima's control when the weapon hybrids are about to confront Pochita* "Well, I think she'd be bored on a date with a man. Right, Miss Makima?!
Need a Barem VA for this current Arc and future ones. This is a very long term role.

For direction: I do not have a particular vision for his voice. Perhaps a medium-ish, teen to young adult sounding voice? So long as your voice sounds like it could come from him and your acting is solid, I will heavily consider you for the role! I prioritize acting over voices so just give it your best acting!

*Miri follows Denji into his school as a student - introducing himself to the class* "I transferred here from Kanagawa. My name's... Miri Sugo. My hobbies are running and playing the piano. One more thing. I'm not here to make friends. So don't talk to me, you pieces of trash."
*Miri valiantly requests Denji to join the Chainsaw Man Church* "I spent my entire life being used like a tool by worthless bastards! I heard it was the same for you! See?! That look says "Bingo"! Am I right?! I'm not about to worship you, but I am grateful to you with every passing day! In the Chainsaw Man Church, I'm truly free! I realized something! My body, my brain... I ought to use them for myself! Join me in the Chainsaw Man Church! I'll protect you from Public Safety and that sushi woman!"
Need a Katana Man VA for this arc and future ones.This is a long term role.
For direction: If you can, try to sound like the EN VA of Katana Man. However, this is just a bonus. For example, I'm going to be voicing Denji and I DO NOT sound like his EN VA at all. I'm told he only killed a handful of women and children. He'd buy me anything I wanted with the drug money... he was a true Tokyo-ite and a good man who everybody loved. You loved him too, didn't you, Denji?"
*Katana man recognizes Yoru/Asa when confronting them* "Huh...? Hey! I know her!! She's that Chainsaw Man Church Woman!!! Asa Mitaka!! She was in the newspaper! They call her the devil-fighting highschool girl! The poem collection she thought up during her classes goes on sale next month!"
*Katana man declares the purpose of his being* "KILLING CHAINSAW MAN! IS THE REASON!! THIS HEART STILL BEATS!!"

*Class President announces to Mr. Tanaka that the class wants to spare Bucky* "Sir... the whole class talked it out, and we've decided... we won't eat Bucky! We eat living things. We can't deny that. But Bucky isn't a chicken or a devil to us anymore! Bucky is our friend!"
*Class President finally snaps at Asa - jealous that Mr. Tanaka is favoring Asa* "You always do this. You're always... always, always, ALWAYS... such a goody-two shoes. Mitaka, did you know that Mr. Tanaka... apologized for Bucky's death to the whole class on your behalf? Did you know that Mr. Tanaka... was the one who told me to befriend you? Did you know that Mr. Tanaka... likes YOU even though he's having sex with me?!
I am looking to expand my cast of animators/manga animators. I currently have 1-2 animators and 1 manga animator. However, I want to have segments of animations/manga animations for each video that I post, so I am looking for more. Anyone interested, please send a link to your work(s).
