CHAINSAW MAN SKITS! VA's NEEDED (ANIMATORS AND ARTISTS TOO)!

Project Overview

SPOILER WARNING: Given that I will be making skits that include the weapon hybrids occasionally, please be aware that these skits will cover the Chainsaw Man manga! Anime-only's, please turn away unless you are fine with voicing in skits that'll involve manga content.


NOTE 1: This project is set as deferred payment because in the event of my accounts being monetized, I will begin paying VA's for their work (most likely paid by rates based on how well said video is doing but we can always discuss this as well)! Please be aware that this will most definitely take some time. For animators/artists, please only audition if you are willing to work for free in the meantime or from time to time. Once I am monetized and making decent income, I am willing to discuss commissioning you for your work based on your rates.


NOTE 2: Some of these characters will be cast ahead of the deadline, based on who I need for my videos. For example, Pochita will likely be cast ahead of time. So please, audition on a "as soon as possible" basis.


Hello everyone. I am DoomSony. A fairly new anime/manga skit content creator (currently only making Chainsaw Man skits for now). I am currently casting for my VA cast for Chainsaw Man skits along with animators, artists, and music producers.

For my skits, they will consist mainly of Roblox maps + animations, with occasional manga panels, manga cutouts, and masked out anime characters from their clips. Attached to this casting call is a skit video I have recently edited and uploaded. It serves as an example of what future videos may look like.


Now, I also intend on having 2d/3d/Manga animations in my videos on top of Roblox animations, as well as drawn art moments (similar to visual novel dialogues), hence I am casting for animators and artists as well. Any animators/artists interested in working with me, please submit an audition!


Every script/idea will be written mainly by me. Those who are cast, I will send you scripts whenever I need lines from you and as VA's, you are free to adjust lines for more natural deliveries/reads and give suggestions to me as well.


For this casting call, when it comes to chaaracters, I am looking for 14 characters, 2 of which were added very recently (Power and Makima). When auditioning for a VA role, please follow the directions below (note that each role has its own direction in the role description along with manga chapters - please use those manga chapters as reference to perform the lines as each line for every character comes directly from the Chainsaw Man manga):


  1. Please submit files in either mp3 or WAV format (it's preferred but if you must send in other formats, then go ahead)! Also include your discord in submission as well!

  2. Please title your files with YourName_Character'sName

  3. A maximum of 3 takes! I'd prefer 1 or 2, depending on how drastically different your delivery of the lines will be.

  4. This is optional, but I'd prefer it if you did have a proper recording setup, but even a phone under a blanket will do just fine.

  5. Go ahead and audition for as many characters as you want! There is a chance to be cast for multiple characters!

  6. Have fun, and give it your best acting!


For artists/animators, go ahead and submit a link to some of your work(s) alongside a method of contact such as your discord if you have one.

When it comes to who gets cast, I will be announcing that in my discord server prior to assigning the role here on Casting Call Club! To anyone interested in joining my server, I will be posting a link at the very end of this description.


Aside joining for casting decisions, you can also join my server to audition in there rather than on CCC.   • Casting Call Completely Revamped - No more manga dubs! Only skits!

    Hello everyone. Doom Sony here. It's been a long time since this Casting Call has been posted. Thank for the whopping 70 auditions for my project! However, I would like to post an update.

    The casting call has been revamped! The deadline is now August 14th at 12:00 AM PDT! To everyone who has submitted auditions as of the date of this update, I have made the decision to not pursue manga dubs anymore but rather, pour my entire focus into skits only, as I believe I can take this type of content really far versus the manga dub content.

    Attached to the CCC page is my first skit video. It serves as an example of what future skit videos will look like. Also, this project has now been changed from unpaid to deferred payment. Please take a look at the project description for further details, but I will essentially pay VA's based after I am monetized and based on how well videos do, hence "profit-share".

    If you have submitted an audition(s) for my project, your submission will still been taken into consideration. However, if you would rather not have your submission count, since you wanted to only voice in the manga dub and not skits, then please, comment on your submission that you have changed your mind, or delete your submission.

    I apologize to everyone who has submitted for this shift in the casting call's direction, I hope you remain interested, but regardless, I wish you all the best in your endeavors.

    One last thing, the role of Pochita will most likely be cast earlier than the new deadline, so if anyone's interested in auditioning for this role, please do so as soon as possible.
