This fandub will be of the 1978 classic of Urusei Yatsura. We will be recording 5 episodes, and if it goes well, we will continue! This is completely for fun, and non-profit. We just want fans to come together and make a good fandub!

He is very lecherous with an idiotic personality, and often tries to escape class work. Whenever he sees or hears a pretty girl he immediately asks for their address and telephone number, but never succeeds.
Hi! I'm Moroboshi Ataru, Number One Japanese Boy! Please date with me!
But to grab those horns, naturally I've gotta grab the body first..."
"Darn right! Ever since that alien pyscho decided she was my 'fiancée'...my life's been nothing but wretched! Dumped by Shinobu, zapped by lightning every time I make a pass at another girl! And now she flies happily off to marry some guy her family has picked out for her. Dear readers! I ask you: do I deserve such torment!?"
Shinobu usually acts like a cute, fragile teenage girl who isn't afraid to speak her mind. However, when her temper is pushed too far, she gets violently mad, having able to lift school desks and then throw them to others, usually Ataru. Ataru and she have known each other for long time and they had feelings toward each others in beginning side of the series. She even proposed Ataru if he can win Lum. However even though Ataru tried to meet and date Shinobu countless times, she always got disappointed or jealous of Lum, who she disliked a lot.
"I must go to my sweet Ataru! He needs me! He loves me! Even though I know Lum will be with him, I can't keep away from my beloved, my precious. Although, if he's shagged her... I'LL KILL HIM!"
"Men be damned!! / Who needs men!"
"You flirtatious scum!"
Cherry's role in the manga seems mainly to be to cause unnecessary trouble for Ataru and the main cast. His very sudden appearance in some chapters seems to cause the already weird plot to get much worse. When he appears, he often predicts a bad omen, and they usually come true (even if he has to help it).
It is fate.
Y... your face, my friend... it's profoundly unfortunate!!!
Ataru's mother... that's it. No, I'm serious.

"Get out of here you deranged priest!!"
For much of the series, he laments the trouble Ataru and Lum's relationship causes, and it is implied each time the house is destroyed, he has to take out yet another loan to fix it. This ultimately leads to him wondering if he's living his life solely to pay off their mortgage.

Lum's Father, or simply known as Mr. Invader, is an oni alien that invades planets.
"Maybe it was a mistake to bring her here without telling her it was to arrange a marriage... Forgive me Lum, but it's for your happiness."
"That's right. If you're able to win a game a tag against us, we'll stop the invasion."
Perm (パーマ, Permanent?), his nickname is derived from his hairstyle ("permanent"), he is tall and skinny.
"You don't deserve to have Lum, Ataru!"
"QUICK OPEN THAT PEACH NOW!"
The leader of the Stormtroopers, whose nickname means "eyeglasses".[2] An otaku in every sense, he loves Lum immensely, and has sworn to serve her. Megane has a strong personality and generally directs the schemes of the Stormtroopers to gain Lum's attention (though mostly for himself). He closely monitors the actions of the others to prevent them from looking at other girls, and to ensure their complete loyalty to Lum.

"I and the rest of us, have devoted our love to Lum!"
Chibi (チビ, Tiny?), he is a timid crybaby, speaks with a cracked voice, and is often beaten up by the rest of the Gang of Four.
"M-Megane!! You've to believe me!"
"I-I'm not a lolicon!!"
Lum's ex-fiancee.
"Lum."
"Will you cook for me for the rest of my life?"
When pretty girls are around, his behavior is remarkably similar to Ataru, although he masks it well in the guise of "I'm just an innocent baby", which shows how much of a child he still is. On the other hand, he behaves like a brat towards all of the male students of Tomobiki High School especially Ataru, thus earning the name "Jariten" from them. Whenever he is treated badly by Ataru or other male students in his class, Ten tends to get revenge on those who mistreat him to show them how badly he was hurt by them even if it means burying the Tomobiki school underground.
"I'm a good boy!"
"Lum, you'd be better off if you dumped that idiot!"
"Hey... HEY YOU. Answer when somebody talks to you. Eh, maybe it's too much to ask. Tomorrow you're going to get married to that woman, but it's more like a condemned man's last night, isn't it? Even an idiot like you can understand that, well good riddance. This is your own punishment for mistreating Lum, the inevitable consequences for your prior misdeeds. It's good that for the rest of your life you'll be chained to that girl. Better for Lum, better yet for the entire universe. I hope you're miserable. I hope you're suffering. I hope you're sad. Poor Lum felt the same way about you. YOU DISGUSTING SLIMEBALL. That's all I have to say, good night."
An incredibly strong kindergartner who attends the space grade school along with Ten.
"THIS! This is the true way to be a man."
"Oni! Killing oni is what I need to become powerful!"
She is very tall, slender, and beautiful, and is the object of affection for the male students of Tomobiki High School as well as Onsen-Mark. The students will even purposely injure themselves just to visit her in the infirmary. However, she is just a gluttonous as her uncle, but no matter how much she eats her body stays the same. Her explanation for this is that she is dieting (yet her proportions don't change and she continues to not gain weight). Also, she has the ability to summon ghosts and spirits through her training. Like Miyake Shinobu, she is capable of superhuman strength when angry.
"YOU DAMN LECHER! THIS IS WHY YOU'RE CURSED!"
"Exorcise! Purify!" (keep repeating for however long you want)
"These young girls today, I can't figure out how they think."
