Project Overview
Hello, and thank you for checking out the casting call for the Echoes of Yesterday (Working Title) - Jukebox Musical demo recording album. This album is not the real thing. This is a album of demos to get a feel for what the final product would be. Because this is a jukebox musical there are songs from many different artists. Dean Lewis, David Kushner and Avril Lavigne being just three of them. This demo album will be uploaded to Soundcloud as a "Cover album"
CHARACTERS
There are a total of six characters in the show. Four are leads, two are featured roles. Each character sings. Two out of the six roles are cast. Here are the roles.

To give you all an understanding of what I'm really looking for while going through auditions. Here is the full song list for the album.. These are the songs now, however if this musical was to become a thing, they could be subject to change, but for this version of the musical, these are the songs. The characters that sing the song are in the (). This show also doesn't have an actual ensemble. Whenever a character doesn't have a solo, they will always most likely be the background for one of the songs if it calls for it.

RULES
There aren't really many rules, but here are the main
1. Must have a good microphone
2. Must have discord. (and be active, if cast)
3. Over the age of 16 (Not required, but perferred since most of the roles are 18+)
-There is no explicit material in this musical or album, it's just the character's ages.

Lily is the second lead of the show/concept album. Lily is James' (main lead) love interest and eventual girlfriend until the very beginning of act two, where they have a falling out. I am looking for a singer who can sing both Alto & Soprano, but a little more on the Alto side.

Samantha is one of the secondary leads of the show, and is Lily's best friend. As a friend she is always looking out for Lily and making sure no one hurts her, until she hurts her herself by accident. I'm looking for someone who can cover all of the emotions. happy, excited, sad, etc. And can put that into their performance.

Mr. Walker is an older man and a lighthouse keeper. He only sings one song in the show, and that is in act 2. In the song he acts as a mentor of sorts to James. The song is Straight Back Down by Dean Lewis and is a trip with Mr. Walker as the main vocalist, with James and Jack. I am looking for a singer, who can pull of an older man's voice while singing, but not too old. The character is around his early late 50s.

Like Mr. Walker, Mrs. Thompson acts as a guide to Lily. However, not really as a mentor, but more as a grandmother. Mrs. Thompson was Lily's old art teacher before she moved to another state. In Act 2 after the falling out between James and Lily, Lily decides to move away for a little while and runs into Mrs. Thompson in the state she moved too. Mrs. Thompson also has one song, and it's with Lily.
