"Until Dark Falls" Casting Call- GENERATION 2

Blizzard is the daughter of Torrent and Mistral (1st generation Mains). She was forced to train with her mother her entire young years, isolated from her older brother, and only rarely visiting her younger brother. Finally, she was freed from her mother's cruelty of training and gets sent to a school to learn about subjects other than fighting after Torrent convinces Mistral to give their daughter more chances of growth. And that's... where her TRUE adventure starts...

Personality: She's similar to Mistral. A warrior who will fight anything she views unfair. She isn't the smartest, however. She has a battle inside her. Should she impress her fierce mother, or accept her emotions and go against how she was raised? She gets REALLY excited like her father and cares about her family, even though she might not show it. Unlike her mother, she would explain why she feels the way she does and then overreact. She usually feels like a monster or a problem in the group and struggles.

Abilities: Mindreading and animus magic (strong enough to enchant ghosts)

 She loves stories. It was the only thing she got from her dad, and she treasures it deeply. She gets super excited around Orca, like Torrent does Albatross.

VOICE DESCRIPTION:  A powerful voice. Only slightly harsh. There are moments where her voice is smooth. Whenever she yells, make it sound slightly immature. Slightly higher than a low female pitch.

Monarch is the son of Nutria and Mosaic (Main characters from 1st Generation). He was raised to speak Spanish-- however-- he doesn't JUST speak Spanish. Due to his parents being able to speak both ENGLISH and SPANISH, he's also capable of that. He has a sister named Vainilla-- someone he resents and hates deeply, and Tulip, whom he's embarrassed of and angry at-- but not nearly as angry. 

Personality: Monarch is super protective when it comes to dragons he loves and will constantly worry for them. However, he RESENTS dragons he hates and will rarely ever forgive them. He speaks Spanish soooo, I hope you know how to enunciate Spanish words LOL. He is a very determined character and will go to NOTHING to achieve his goal. 

Abilities: Exploding ash, flame silk. Alligator growl

 He gets SUPER jealous when other dragons talk to Sunfall.

VOICE TYPE:  Slight Hispanic accent. Whenever he speaks English, the Hispanic accent is only in the shadows. HOWEVER, when he speaks Spanish, his Hispanic accent takes over. Slightly higher than middle male pitch.

Sunfall is the daughter of Navaga and Rufescent (Main Characters in 1st Generation). She has been raised to love and care for other dragons, but she develops a curiosity of the arena-- something her parents resent. If anything, she gets irritated and annoyed at her brother, Argentavis, who always cusses and calls her mean names. One day, she gets submitted to the school and meets new dragons-- and Clearsight.... And that's where her adventure begins....

Personality: She is confident on her wish to be useful, but she feels covered and protected by everyone else, she is supportive, and doesn´t give up.

Abilities:  Sky wing abilities. Can breathe underwater.

VOICE TYPE: 

2nd Gen: a soft but confident voice, teen aged.

3rd Gen: same voice, voice around adult’s, can be pitched.

Being the "prettiest" dragon in her generation will be easy, right?... Right?

Hope is the son of Grace and History (Main characters in 1st Gen). He's always focused on his scrolls as a child, annoyed whenever his sister, Colorful Void, tried to force her singing abilities onto him. However, he never violently lashes out at his sister and loves his parents. One day, he was walking with his family and met the most amazing group-- and especially a beautiful dragon.... and that's just the beginning of his story.

Personality: He starts as the shy and smart guy that would do anything for his friends. He doesn’t desire love, until someone comes…

Abilities:  Weak past seeing, might get stuck in them.

 He is the smart guy of the classroom and even though his muscles aren’t the best, he is able to out stand his enemy with strategies… sometimes. He is one of the few that will own a magic book. 

VOICE TYPE: 

2nd Gen: Slight deep voice, teen-aged, slightly soft.

3rd Gen: less pitched voice, average? Around adult’s voice. Soft or not is optional.

Frozen lake is the son of Torrent and Mistral (Main characters in 1st Gen). He was raised by his father after he almost died from a defection in his egg. Thanks to his father's magic, he was saved-- however-- that meant his father would raise him to make sure his magic doesn't fail suddenly. He was sent, along with his sister, to a school where he will be invited to join along an adventure with her... What would happen next?

Personality:  He is considered a narcissist, except he might admit one or two mistakes. He won´t forgive ANYONE, even after they apologized with their heart. He will later develop; however, it will be far in the series.

Abilities:  Weak future seeing, will draw the vision.

 He will have a villain arc that might affect his relationships. He only cares about his closest friends and family, and will only save others, if those he loves to want them to stay alive. Will be one of the few that own a magic book. 

His defect that almost killed him makes him smaller than the other dragons-- which could cause a lot of teasing. He does NOT like it when dragons make fun of his mutated size.

VOICE TYPE: 

2nd Gen: has a serious, teen-aged voice. He might be shy, but has a voice that calls the attention

3rd Gen: Deep, a voice that makes you respect him, considering how small he is for his age.

Cyclon is a champion for Queen Dark' Phoenix, determined to perform well in the battles assigned to him-- to prove himself of worth. His sister, Rose Flame, cared about him and warned him about the life of a champion, but he went anyways. He's motivated to be just like their former fire scale champion, Rufescent. However, something happens, and he meets the daughter of his role-model. After that, he visited her multiple times, whenever he has the free time. He slowly fell in love with Sunfall, but never had the courage to tell her how he felt... One day, he visits her-- and there are many other dragons there as well.

Personality: He is really imperative as a kid, and he becomes the opposite when he grows up. He is confident on his strength, except when flashbacks come in. He won´t give up until the danger is out or he becomes unable to fight.

Abilities: Fire scales

 He will appear in the second gen and third gen, so you´ll have time and know that you´ll stay for that period of time.

VOICE TYPE: 

2nd Gen: A warm and welcoming teen voice.

3rd Gen: a warm deep voice, will-protect-at-all-cost.

Abrades is a Sand Wing who fell in love with Azure and had a couple dragonets. However, Azure turns insane and kills her, forcing her to become a book. Abrades is blinded, believing that Azure's horrid act was an act of love, and adores her new home-- the 3rd Book. Feasting on ghosts whenever she's hungry, she constantly wants ghost companions to drag them into her jaws... until one day, a specific ghost enters and opens her eyes about how horrible everything is in her afterlife.

Personality: Even though in her book form, she was in both sides, she would prefer the light. She likes peace and gets annoyed when it fades away. She is loyal to her friends and will be on their side as long as their opinions are logical.

Abilities: In her book form, she was described as an even more powerful entity than LE and DE, however, her energy gets drained too quick, and it can´t recover, so, at the end of 2nd gen, she is unable to come back.

Her original name was "Cleopatra" until Azure trapped and made her into a book.

VOICE TYPE:

Abrades: Might have two voice actors, one shall be a male, the other a female, they have to work together to speak at the same time. If not, then it’s preferably a female to voice her. 

Cleopatra: Female adult voice, slightly strong, serious

Darkening Eye is an evil, dark book that can only be used for villainy request. He was forced into the book a long time ago, by a dictating, manipulating king of his tribe. Now, he's on this path to get his revenge for everything the king has done to him-- one day.... oNe dAy...... He will be free...... From this prison......

Personality:  Before getting trapped in the book, he was a loyal soon-to-be soldier of his tribe. However, after getting betrayed and separated from the only dragon he trusted, he made a vow to himself... DESTROY. THEM. ALL.

Abilities: E-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. He can revive dragons; however, their bodies will mark the limit... Once the body becomes a skeleton, the dragon will die.

He will be there from the beginning; however, lines will start from 2nd gen. Becomes MAIN VILLAIN in 3rd gen. Will remain until the end. 

Lightening Eye is capable of anything that's good and "righteous". A long time ago, her brother, Sol, was chosen to keep the universe in balance, and he asked her to go into the book in order to keep the good and light in the world in case evil comes. She accepts her brother's request and turns into the 2nd Book.

Personality: She takes everything serious and her choices aren´t affected by her emotions... She is described as the perfect dragon and someone who will never mess anything. That is, until she stops being that perfect entity...

Abilities:  E-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. She can revive dragons if they weren´t dead for too long, maximum of 2 hours.

 She shows up from 2nd gen and will remain until the end. 

Her original name was Lumine, a Light Wing, until she became a book-- in which she was named "Lightening Eye" from the 2nd Generation dragonets.

VOICE TYPE:

2nd Gen: A soft, serious but strong female adult voice. 

3rd Gen: Her voice will slowly stop being serious and strong, will say when.

Dream is a Night Wing, who was born with a unique ability unlike others-- however-- there is a terrible price when its used. Unlike her brothers, she doesn't battle over who's the strongest with the greatest powers... Once her brother, Talon Strike, left the family to get stronger, she was left on her own-- so-- she got imprisoned by the Sky Queen, wanting to use her special powers for her own benefits. Good thing someone came to save her.... 

Personality:  She´s sometimes sarcastic but helpful. However, she hardly trusts anyone thanks to her powers, not even her own family. She becomes grumpy.

Abilities:  Modified animus genetic.

She will appear some time in 2d gen, then again in 3rd gen.

VOICE TYPE:

2nd Gen: Adult, female voice. Strong and brave. 

3rd Gen: Really raspy voice, old woman.

Azure is a Sea Wing who came upon a dragonet one day, and decided to adopt him and raise him, naming him Torrent. One day, a mysterious force made him lose his mind and influenced Torrent badly. His insanity made him trap his mate into a book and try to create a child with dark actions. He fought with Torrent, and always won against him. One day, he gets challenged by a fierce dragonet... and he gets brought into an adventure.

Personality:  He might suffer a lot, but there´s only a few who would make him stand back up, his non-biological brother, his wife and children; he will do ANYTHING for them. He is nice and helpful, however... That... Changes...

Abilities: Animus Magic.

He will have a villain arc in 2nd gen and then he will later re-appear in 3rd gen as dark prophecy dragonet.

VOICE TYPE:

2nd Gen: Serious but crazy-like voice, adult voice, male.

3rd Gen: Same characteristics, except his voice is slightly raspier.

Isolation, who is a Night Wing, got abandoned by his parents to fend on his own. After Isolation got abandoned by his parents, he developed this strange obsession to become animus. He went ALLL OVER THE WORLD and explored all Phyrhia, finding animus items... And- since the 3rd book would be able to make him animus, he found it. He used Abrades's powers to create magical items and make him stronger. One day, he found himself fighting a dragon-- and fell in love with a small dragon.

Personality: He panics in situations he can´t handle but would do anything for those he loves. He doesn´t forgive easily, even though he might say to himself that it´s ok, the other side of him will continue keeping the hatred. He loves to nickname a certain someone.

 He loves to collect animus touched items...

VOICE TYPE:

2nd Gen: Slight high-pitched voice, male, teen aged.

3rd Gen: slightly deep voice, adult

Darkstalker is the son of Arctic and Foeslayer (Ghosts in the 2nd and 3rd Gen). His love towards his mother made him go insane once she died from Arctic's tribe, and his hatred towards his father enraged him-- enough to murder his dad with his magic. He holds on too tight to the dragons he loves-- which makes him lose them.

Personality: Darkstalker is a vengeful dragon. If someone does something against him, he'll hold a grudge-- even when he gets his revenge. Loves Clearsight deeply and tries to make it the way it was 2,000 years ago, where they were happy. He doesn't believe the things he does is bad-- until later on in the series. Clever and deceiving dragon-- a trickster. Charming and will introduce himself VERY dramatically. Power-hungry.

Abilities: Mindreading, future seeing, animus magic, And... some other stuff?

Side villain in 2nd and 3rd Gen.

VOICE TYPE:

 Middle male pitched. Slight sinister accent, like he's keeping THOUSANDS of secrets.

Arctic is a royal Ice Wing prince, raised horribly by his mother. Due to having a horrible parent as a child-- he became one HIMSELF. After he was harsh and cruel to his son, Darkstalker, he was killed by his own son and enchanted to do whatever Dark ordered him to do. He gets pushed around by his child-- and he hates it.

Personality: Arctic absolutely HATES his son, Darkstalker, and has little to no care for his family members. Arctic is a very cold-hearted Ice Wing and yells A LOT. However, he has this deep love towards Foeslayer-- which has nothing important LOL. He's not the brightest. Over time, he'll learn just how important bonding with other dragons are, and ultimately, becomes a well-trusted teammate.

Abilities: Animus Magic.

This guy doesn't show up AS much as the other ghosts, but he still DOES appear. He doesn't cuss unless he's REALLY mad, especially with Darkstalker. He's scared of his son's magic but won't admit it.

VOICE TYPE:

 A harsh, rough voice. Medium low pitched.

Pearl is a royal Sea Wing who survived the massacre from Albatross. However, her trauma and guilt dragged her into the cursed area-- trapping the victims in an endless loop. Her brother is Fathom, another survivor of the massacre and a main ghost in the series. Someday, she'll meet her brother again....

Personality: (Queen) Pearl is a very subtle, sarcastic dragon. She's haunted by the memories of Albatross's Massacre, and is one of the royal Sea Wings trapped in the constant loop. She cares about Fathom, and she won't let Fathom suffer through the trap of many.

 She's Pearl from the book, so if you've read about her, you should know how she's like in the series.

VOICE TYPE:

Sassy, spoiled princess, but it's obvious she has trauma in her voice. Medium high pitched.

Talon is a Night Wing who constantly tries to get stronger in power-- in order to prove that he's the best of his siblings-- Full Moon and Dream Maker. Therefore, he leaves his family to find out ways to get that power-- and runs into a beautiful Sea Wing named Cove. He gets many kids-- Ryujin, Torrent, Peridot, and Navaga are some of them. However, his power-hungry character makes him go mad and he leaves the family.

Personality:  Talon is a power-hungry dragon and is determined to get stronger and stronger, no matter what. All he thinks about is power and proving that he shouldn't be messed with. However, he has a REASON for this that could be shown as a special episode or something.

Abilities: Animus magic, mindreading.

 This guy is a HORRIBLE dragon, but he's significant in the life of Ryujin, so-- at least he has that LOL

He gets a tiny villain arc in 2nd gen, and then he never comes again after he leaves the group.

VOICE TYPE:

 Slightly powerful voice. The greed shows through his voice. Slightly low voice.

Spring is the child created by Azure... The rest of her will be revealed in the series....

Personality: She is a nice and gentle sea-sand hybrid. However, she hides a secret, and very well. She might be mysterious at moments, and she would do anything to help someone who is going through a hard time.

Abilities:  A kind of animus where she can only make a version of a real dragon, but like if they were a white ghost, and control them like a puppet.

 She is searching for her family... She wants everything to be like before.... Before she understood....

VOICE TYPE:

No description, she’s teen aged.

You will color in each frame of animation in the project.

How you can audition is a fully colored animation to show that you are capable of this.

You'll make the movements using the storyboards provided in the discord server if you get casted with this role. 

In order to audition, please send an example of how smooth you can make movement. It doesn't have to be colored in or anything, just have the movements.

You will create the magical effects and whatever effects we ask of you in animation clips for this project.

In order to audition, please show an example of an animation with good effects/ only effects animation.

You will put line art on top of the movements of the characters and add the details wherever they are needed.

For the audition, just give me an example of how you can animate! ^^
