Project Overview
Hello everyone! The following casting call is for a fandub of the the Webcomic unOrdinary which can be found on Webtoons. This project has been in the works for around a year and we would love to add new voices to the mix. We are currently looking for voice actors and actresses to fill the rest of our cast. Please note that some major roles have already been cast.
Note: We have asked permission from the original artist in the making of this dub.
Official Webtoon Summary:
The world is not perfect. Learning to deal with its flaws is just a normal part of life. But there comes a point where these imperfections spawn a crushing realization... that something needs to change...
Guidelines:
Before we start, here are some official guidelines.
1) Please don't record with a broken toaster. While XLR/USB mics are preferred, if you only have a phone mic we can manage.
2) Please keep all audio clean with no voice alterations to your recordings. Try to keep any pops and background noise to a minimum
3) Be prepared for commitment to this project. We expect all VAs to be active once cast.
4) Please have a discord as we communicate through a Discord server.
5) Be kind to your fellow voice actors and actresses.
6) When auditioning read the whole thing through instead of breaking up the lines.
7) And finally, have fun!

Casting
Today is the day that we will be doing the casting for the first round of characters. However, we will not only pick the people who will play the characters mainly, we will also be picking people from the audition to be understudies for the characters! So if you haven’t been picked to play the character, you still have a chance of being a understudy for a character. If you didn’t get picked for either a role or an understudy role, don’t worry! We have more characters in line to have people audition for, so don’t lose hope! As always, be a good sport and don’t go off being “I SHOULD HAVE BEEN (Insert Character from unOrdinary here)!!” We wish you all the best of luck! We are excited to have the people who are selected today as a part of our family! -

So I've been looking through the auditions and I've been very impressed. But I have a problem with a number of them. When you read the lines more than once please read the whole thing through. I want to see the flow of your speech. It's hard to follow with the amount of lines. So please redo your auditions.

Remi is a main character in unOrdinary. Remi is a kind and noble soul. Not one to shy away from her beliefs, she is one person not to trifle with. Part of the “3 Musketeers” of Wellston alongside Blyke and Isen, as well as being a part of the “Royal” ranks in the school , she will electrify you with her ability (Quite Literally). Outside of battle, she is one kind soul who really shows everyone kindness. She will fight for what’s right.
Isen, these cuffs weren't designed for people like us.

They're perfect for restraining mid-tiers. But for us, they serve as more of a reminder.

Raven Viceral
Seraphina is one of the main characters of the Web Toon, unOrdinary. She is a perfectionist with a cold personality. Prior to the events of the story, Seraphina was like every other student in the school and treats the main male protagonist, John, like trash for being a cripple. However, after spending some time with John, she slowly comes to terms and excepts John for who he is. Going to modern day, she is a bit more laid back, yet still has that sense of perfection within her. She will defend John with her life if needed.

Well Teknically
Isen is a major character of UnOrdinary. He's a part of the "Three Musketeers" of Wellston. He's analytical, his ability is Hunter, and he is a writer of the Wellston's newspaper. He is one to stand by his friends no matter their ideas.

Arlo is the King of Wellston. He is someone who is not to be trifled with. His force field ability is something to be feared, especially if you are caught inside of it. He’s more of the snoody type who thinks he is the all powerful person within the student body. Just remember one thing: Do not call him “Asslo”.
What? You "called it"? You should know how it works by now, Remi. It's first come, first serve. If you want a piece, you gotta be faster than that.
I heard you guys recruited a new Queen and, word is you haven't lost with her on your roster yet. I wanted the chance to see her in action.
