Unnamed Backrooms Series Pilot

Project Overview

This is an early production series that I will be making about a bunch of different explorers in the backrooms. Remember it is just a pilot, but if the pilot goes well then it will turn into a full fledged series. It will follow a ton of characters. The characters that are currently listed are not the only characters, I will be adding much more in the very near future. It follows all of the characters and doesn't exactly have a main protagonist, although some characters are basically the protagonist. It is incredibly early in development. The base story is relatively basic and is just following the characters as they try to escape and what foils they run into while they do. It follows a lot of the backrooms wikidot levels and lore. I hope you can enjoy the project if you do join in. Most of all remember that it is early in production, and so many more roles will be added. I plan on adding at least 20 more important characters and few extras. I will also probably add more roles.

This project has a low projected outcome, in otherwords, if it makes money I will pay, but it all depends on how well the project does, so if you need to make money I'm afraid this project isn't for you. PAYMENT IS NOT GUARANTEED.

    I’ve been incredibly busy, but dont worry, I will be returning to this project very soon! With the new listing!

  • IMPORTANT

    This will be one of the last updates in this listing for a while, but don’t worry, I won’t forget about it. It will still be used, I just have to create a new listing every time a previous one expires. With that being said, there is an important detail that I believe has been missed, so I’m going to reiterate it one more time. THIS IS NOT A PAID PROJECT, IF YOU CAME TO THIS PROJECT FOR MONEY, IT ALMOST DEFINITELY WONT PAY. What I meant by deferred was that if I did get money (which is unlikely) then I won’t be stingy, I will pay equal amounts of the revenue, but it probably won’t make revenue, so this is for fun.   • New Listing

    Before I start this update, I would like to say that this is the first project I've made, so I had no idea what I was doing, with that being said, I realized why this project died: the listing has expired. So, I've decided to try and revive this project I'm going to create a new listing. I would like to clarify, this listing is still going to be used, you don't have to re-audition, I will just be creating a new listing to try and get more auditionees. All of the auditions currently sent in will still be looked at and considered for the role, the new listing will just be trying to get more auditioners before the deadline, since there are several roles that still don't have anyone to fill them. Thank you.

  • Another Update

    I just added a few more roles to make sure you guys know I didn't abandon this project. I plan on adding several more roles including the ones I just added. Thanks to everyone who has auditioned, and if you feel like I haven't been paying attention to the auditions, I have and have gone through all of them so far. I plan on utilizing the whole audition time, and if we can get somewhere around 100 auditions I might cut it down a few months. But thank you to everyone who has currently auditioned and I will keep bringing updates every now and then.

    Thanks to everyone that has currently auditioned, if you don’t receive a message from discord, don’t worry, I haven’t picked any of the roles yet and plan on DMing only the people that are chosen. So far I have heard some great auditions, a lot of which are definitely in top consideration for their roles. Thanks and I’ll keep trying to update. It might take a minute as this is sort of a long time project, that’s why it’s planned to be fully decided by the end of this year. Thanks again and wish you all the best.

Michael is kind of the main protagonist of the series. He's a middle aged man who has hit his low point in life. His wife left him, he has no money, etc. He ends up getting stuck in the backrooms and starts looking for a way out, while also trying to figure out his personal issues before he gets back to the real world. Make him sound tired, and give him a raspier but not to raspy voice. Even though he is tired, he still feels emotion so don't just make him emotionless. Other than that have fun with it. I want to see it become your character.

Timothy is the older brother of Jenny. He's had to take care of her and so he is surprisingly mature for a 7 year old. He listens well and is polite. But he's also very protective and kind of feisty. This is the only voice I have somewhat of an idea for. I'm think of Kotaro from Kotaro lives alone except a bit colder. But have fun with it and do what you think will work for the character.
