"Underway 2: Staff Change" Crew
Project Overview
I have been waiting for this for a while. The "Underway" series is one of my favorite game stories I've made, and I'm excited to make this one. I have some REALLY cool and interesting ideas, and I can't wait to make it a reality.
But you can't make a game this good without a crew, right? So why waste time, let's get into the good stuff!
I am looking for a variety of voices, one being a singer. The descriptions of each character are provided on the roles. I don't have the script finished yet, so most of these aren't the lines that'll be used in the game.
If you're interested in auditioning for a role, you must:
-Have an email that you check FREQUENTLY. (This is how primary contact will be made and how files/scripts are shared)
-Be okay with not being paid. (As much as I'd like to pay you, I don't have the money to, nor a way to actually do it.)
If anyone is interested in a role, don't be afraid to audition!
PLEASE NOTE- The estimated release date for this game in the above video is NOT accurate. I shifted some things around, and I'm hoping to have the game done by the end of 2020, and released in January 2021.

Jarrod is the young assistant to Leo in running Shack's Party Center. Although his role is never fully explained, it is assumed that he does anything that Leo doesn't. He has a bouncy, excited personality, and it's always interesting to see him on screen.
While this role will have only one actual spoken line, the audio from this recording will be used for his voice in the typewriter dialogue system. (Like in "Undertale")
(Excited, and sort of obnoxious) "Are you ready for another day of crazy parties?!!"
(Determined, but obnoxious) "It looks like we have a plan. And when we have a plan, we put it into action!!"
The Dark Knight is an interesting character to say the least. He doesn't exactly fit with the rest of the roles, but he is an important character in the game. You'll see his role when the game comes out, I'd like to have a deeper voice for this one, although it is not required.
This role has only one actual spoken line, but part of it will be used to make the text dialogue voice, like the one(s) in Undertale.
(Determined, sort of angry) "You've destroyed my royal guard, and now you've taken over the throne!
(Exhausted, but hopeful) "We were destined to battle from the beginning... But I don't think that now was the time..."
Miranda is one of the 3 parents you randomly encounter during one part of the game. Though she doesn't really have any depth to her personality, she does have a sort of flare that's different than the others.
This role has only one actual spoken line, but part of it will be used to make the text dialogue voice, like the one(s) in Undertale.
(Concerned, but curious) "Hi, are you the manager? I was wondering if you could help me with something."
(Serious and stern) "They tried to warn you, Leo. Will you ever figure it out?"
Emma is one of the 3 parents you randomly encounter during one part of the game. She doesn't have much depth to her personality, but she has her own sort of flare that differentiates her from the others.
This role has only one actual spoken line, but part of it will be used to make the text dialogue voice, like the one(s) in Undertale.
(Careless, sorta arrogant) "Hey, you. You know where a girl can take a smoke break?"
(Slightly angry, but in pain) "We're just trying to help you, Leo! Why won't you listen to us?!"

(Tired, but confident) "Hey, I was curious about your robot performer. What happened to him?"
(Concerned/sad, but in pain) "Why are you doing this, Leo? We know you're better than this..."
I need a singer. That much is obvious.
There is no character to the singer, however the lyrics in the song they'll be singing are from Leo's perspective. The song they're singing will be played as the credits, The instrumental will be done by me and my music friend. I'm still kinda new to having people sing for me, so you're gonna have to be patient with me, as I will probably be a little flustered/awkward at first.
