"UNDERFELL" (Jorg's Take) | Undertale Fangame Seeking Team!

The MAIN REASON I opened up this audition lol. This is the most important thing here.
MORE THAN ONE COMPOSER MAY ALSO BE CHOSEN DEPENDING ON THE SKILLS AND ABILITIES OF THE OTHER ONES I'VE ACCEPTED!
As stated in the description. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you are a fan of and/or have an understanding of Undertale/Deltarune BEFORE applying. You will mostly be remixing tracks that Toby Fox made, with a grunge/metal aesthetic. It is a requirement that you are capable of working with MIDI instruments, and can replicate sounds such as electric distortion guitars and drums in your remixes. There may also be some original compositions that I will ask you to write for me, and potentially some more orchestral or "epic" sounding pieces. For more details, please see description!

You will be making the backgrounds for the game! Designing assets, environments, animated elements, and more.

NOTE: THERE WILL ALMOST DEFINITELY BE MULTIPLE BACKGROUND ARTISTS!

For this role, it is asked that you attempt to replicate the style that the original Undertale game has. Animated elements, such as flowing water, blowing wind, crackling fires, and more, will all be done for this job too, which is why multiple artists will likely be hired.

It goes without saying, but these will also be EXCLUSIVELY PIXEL ART BACKGROUNDS, just like Undertale. The map is BIG, and there is a lot of work to do here!

Robyn is one of the 6 Human SOULs who will end up battling Frisk in the end of the game. She has more appearances than just that fight, too!

Robyn is a little girl, in the age range of 10-13. She is INCREDIBLY inspired by Aqua from Deltarune, as you can likely tell by the design. For her voice direction, she's the quintessential gremlin villainess. Think of Harley Quinn, if she was more childish, younger, and more unhinged. Accent doesn't exactly matter here.

(also if you didn't catch it by now her name is "robyn" because her armor in the game is a ribbon aha get it robyn ribbon aha aha i'll leave)

Robyn, as with all of the other SOULs, is also an antagonist for this game. This means that more often than not, she's speaking with malicious intent. There are some softer moments on the equivalent to the True Pacifist Route where you redeem the SOULs, including Robyn, but those are later down the line.

In order to line up with future plans I have for this project, ALL of the Human SOULs (excluding Frisk and Chara) will have actual voice acting, which is unusual for a UTDR fangame, I know. Think of Flowery from Deltarune, if you know that whole situation; but instead of short voice clips like "Glue!" and "Jarona!", it's actually the entire line being read out and acted!

BRAVERY
COWARDICE

Beau is one of the 6 Human SOULs who will end up battling Frisk in the end of the game. They have more appearances than just that fight, too!

Beau is a child, in the age range of 10-13. They aren't directly inspired by any influences (since it's pretty hard to reverse engineer whatever deltarune's orange even was into a human design), and are probably one of the most original characters in the lineup of SOULs; which leaves LOTS of room for creativity!

No voice nor gender in mind. Go crazy!

Beau, as with all of the other SOULs, is also an antagonist for this game. This means that more often than not, they're speaking with malicious intent. There are some softer moments on the equivalent to the True Pacifist Route where you redeem the SOULs, including Beau, but those are later down the line.

DISHONESTY

Karly is one of the 6 Human SOULs who will end up battling Frisk in the end of the game. He have more appearances than just that fight, too!

Karly is one of the older SOULs, being around 13-15. He is partially inspired by Blue from Deltarune. As for his specific voice direction, I was thinking it could be pretty open, similar to Beau's. He is male, and potentially could have a slight British/English accent to his voice. Unlike most of the other SOULs, his voice and emotions should be a lot calmer and more controlled, often expressing his dissatisfaction with a situation by using sarcasm rather than screaming and crying. However, there are situations which call for more intense emotions.

Karly, as with all of the other SOULs, is also an antagonist for this game. This means that more often than not, he's speaking with malicious intent. There are some softer moments on the equivalent to the True Pacifist Route where you redeem the SOULs, including Karly, but those are later down the line.

LAZINESS

Cloudy is one of the 6 Human SOULs who will end up battling Frisk in the end of the game. She has more appearances than just that fight, too!

Cloudy is an older girl, in the age range of 13-15. She is loosely inspired by Seth from Deltarune, as you can likely tell by the design. For her voice direction, she's nerdy and a bit snobby. Honestly, think Alphys if she was a teenager and more evil and stuff. Female, with any accent so long as it sounds like I described above.

Cloudy, as with all of the other SOULs, is also an antagonist for this game. This means that more often than not, she's speaking with malicious intent. There are some softer moments on the equivalent to the True Pacifist Route where you redeem the SOULs, including Cloudy, but those are later down the line.

Jackie is one of the 6 Human SOULs who will end up battling Frisk in the end of the game. They have more appearances than just that fight, too!

Jackie is a child in the age range of 12-14. They're LOOSELY inspired by Deltarune's Green, but also, not really. The only real similarities are the chef attire I suppose. For the voice direction, similar to Beau, I have literally nothing to go off because Green doesn't talk in Deltarune! So, go crazy! Make it up! Have fun with it!

Clover is one of the 6 Human SOULs who will end up battling Frisk in the end of the game. They have more appearances than just that fight, too!

Clover is a young child, in the age range of 10-13. Gender can go either way, as their pronouns are They/Them in the original Undertale Yellow game, and it doesn't really matter. All we need is a young sounding person, with a LIGHT cowboy-esque accent. Not full southern, not asking "sir can you step out of the veehickle" like that or anything. I'm looking for someone with a very light hint of southern in their voice, who sounds young, to play this role.
