TTRPG Channel: Dice Club - Looking for on camera comedy actors
Project Overview
First rule of Dice Club... Tell EVERYONE about Dice Club!
We go BEYOND D&D and play obscure, off-the-wall ttrpgs.
Dice Club is a community theater and the internet is our stage where artists exercise and hone their abilities in; acting, video editing, music, production, etc.
URGENT We are looking for talent for TOON!
"Toon!" is a TTRPG that streams on Twitch.tv, Tuesdays @ 7:00pm cst. A comedy improv game, where you play a toon character and your job is to be as funny as you can possibly be (for about 2 hours). You can play any kind of Saturday morning toon ranging from the 1990s back to the beginning of animation.
*** We are also looking for more game/dungeon masters!

BEFORE YOU AUDITION - THE FOLLOWING ARE OUR CAST MEMBER CONDITIONS:
* Weekly COMMITMENT! Being cast in a ttrpg is the same as being cast in a weekly live tv show, requiring the commitment to show up and perform.
* Cast members MUST arrive 30 mins before the shows start time for pre-show setup. If a shows curtain time is 7 pm cst, cast arrives for pre-show setup at 6:30 pm.
* Cast must have a decent camera, and be on camera the entire show.
* Casts faces must be completely visible at all times on camera. Masks, partial masks, hats that cast shadows or cover too much of the face, and virtual face rigs are NOT acceptable.
* Cast members must have decent lighting.
* Cast members backgrounds must not distract or detract from their performance. A green screen is preferred, BUT as long as the area behind you is neat & orderly, that is fine.
~ Clutter and unmade beds, distract from the entire performance and lower the show and the channels production value. ~
All the above conditions create our stage, and make the best stage possible. We are looking for bold talent, that seek to grow as performers.

To audition,
1. watch both of these videos, they are important;
How to act on camera for a TTRPG
2. Post your most favorite toon character voices you can do, the more "cartoon-ish" the voices are the better. Think of the kind of toon you would like to play or be.
Being camera aware and comfortable is essential.
3. Screen Test: Send us a short video, we are looking at your camera quality, your lighting, your environment, and your screen presence.
(This is why video 2 is important; camera distance, lighting, staying center frame, being expressive, these factors make a show watchable.)
In the video we would like answers to following ;
- Explain, what ttrpgs you've played, or the game system you are familiar with.
- If you have never played, explain why you think this seems like something you are interested/excited to do.
- What do you hope to get out of the experience.
- Have you had any training or experience in improv or comedy?
- What is your performance background?
Send your video mp3 to: diceclubmail @ gmail . com
Feel free to ask questions. I probably have answers.
We are looking for people who are looking to improve their talent while rolling dice.
Hope to hear from ya,
Jerrie
