Trevor's Game: Minecraft Adventure Map
Project Overview
What is a Minecraft Map?
Minecraft, originally released in 2009, is a sandbox game made entirely of virtual blocks. Within it, players can make their own games using the game's data and code their very own version of the game, making Minecraft somewhat of a game engine as well. Players can download "maps", or worlds, where these games can be played. Maps can range anywhere from mini-games to full-blown productions involving screenwriting, voice acting, retexturing, and animation.
About the Map
A popular mini-game known as "Which Doesn't Belong" had its legacy around the beginning of 2019, where players go through multiple levels and, between a series of 3 or more blocks, must choose the one that doesn't fit an unknown criteria. This puzzle map eventually evolved into dozens of others, twisting the basis of the game by adding more than just this simple puzzle.
In Trevor's Game, the puzzle is taken to an entirely new level. We took that concept and made it into an adventure-based game, with a storyline and complete character arcs. We've also added more than just the simple puzzle to the mini-game aspect of it, such as a timer, memory games, adventure-based tasks in-between sections, and more. After six months of screenwriting, building, coding, retexturing, sound design, and heavy testing, we're now ready to take the script we've written and accept voice actors.
Voice Acting Info
The script was released about 3 months ago. In that time, out of the seven roles, five have already been voiced-over.
The two roles left:
- Trevor: The main antagonist of the story
- Drill Operator: Short part; directs you to a task.
Feel free to change up the lines a little bit to fit your style.

(Shocked, tearing up) It... can't be... you actually made it. I can't believe my eyes! I've waited every waking day and every waking hour for someone like you to show up.
You shouldn't be here, I told you to leave. It's far too late now, you've seen too much. I must follow through with the plan. I'm sorry, this is all for the sake of the company.
Short part which directs the player to the next task.
10-15 sentences. Changes may be made to the script.

Oh hey. We made a drill here to cut through the door. Good news is, it worked. Bad news is, we can’t back the drill up. Completely lost power!
