Transformers Headmasters: The Apocalypse of Cybertron
Project Overview
Our goal with this series is to give fans the season 4 that they never got in the original generation of Transformers, in a high quality production. This is a long term production. All finalists will be expected to commit long term to their characters and remain in contact for future episodes that are produced. Microphone quality is an important factor in casting. We may also request alternate takes in a closed audition and to test your commitment to the role. It goes without saying, this is also a factor in the decision making process. All auditions will be determined after the deadline by our production team.
-The deadline for all auditions is June 24th, at 11:59 PST. The episode is already in production and is being recorded by the rest of the cast. If you are chosen, you will receive your lines as soon as the role has been confirmed.

BIO - A mystic; spends more of his time trying to contact the electromagnetic essences of long-dead Decepticons than talking to live ones. Mindwipe is a formidable opponent, able to hypnotize and control lifeforms just by making eye contact, and boasting an eerie and precognitive "sixth sense". But sometimes he forgets this and, when the odds look stacked against him, Mindwipe's more than happy to turn tail and get while the getting's good.
Alternate Mode: Vampire bat
Voice type: Male. Subtle Romanian or Hungarian accent is ideal. Original voice was inspired by Bela Lugosi.
Voice range: Low
Line 1: Soon, darkness will consume all of Cybertron.
Line 2: "You bothersome parasites! Do you not know who your master is!?Line 3: "Ah, there's Vector Sigma! Victory is assured! Hahaha!"
Line 4: "I sense the calling of an ancient power. But from where?"
BIO - Cruel, vicious, but apparently built with a few wires crossed. Talks to himself in a sing-song backward way: "Destroys the Autobots I shall. Tear them to scrap metal I will."
Alternate Mode: Wolf
Voice Type: Male. Bold. Conversational, with a dynamic range of emotive ability. This character's voice is open to creative interpretation.
Voice Range: Medium to Low
Line 1: "The Decepticon Headmasters we are. Weirdwolf, I am. How may we serve you, my Lord?"
Line 2: "The swamp is crawling with Piranacons, and hungry they are!"
Line 3: "It all depends on you now. If you fail, Zarak would never forgive you."
Line 4: "Who are you kidding? Outnumbered you are!"
BIO - Skullcruncher would be an apex predator and darling of the battlefield if it weren't for one little thing: he has a bad habit of grinding his teeth before launching an attack. This nervous tic is so loud and obnoxious that it tips the enemy off to his whereabouts. Skullcruncher will ravenously scarf down as many Autobots as he can during battle, making him positively terrifying to the opposition. This image as a mindless, cannibalistic monster has only further solidified Skullcruncher's reputation as a big, dumb beast others are too afraid to hang out with.
Alternate Mode: Alligator
Voice Type: Male. Voice type is open to creative interpretation.
Voice range: Medium-Low, Low, Deep
Line 1: "We'll let you in over *your* dead carcass... which I'll use as a chew toy."
Line 2: "It’s about time you twerps showed up!"
Line 3: (concerned) "Are you absolutely sure about this?"
Line 4: "Let's get out of here!"
BIO - Combaticon leader. Believes the key to a mission's success lies in the perfection of its planning. Prefers devising sinister schemes to actual combat, but a relentless, furious fighter when stirred into action. Joins with fellow Combaticons to form robot "Bruticus."
Alternate Mode: Artillery Truck
Voice Type: Male. Subtle RP British accent. Sometimes rolls "r" pronunciation. Sophisticated strategist & Leader.
Voice range: Medium to Low
"My strategy is brilliant! The entire secret lies in confusing the enemy, so that he cannot fathom our real intent."
"Combaticons, initiate attack plan Delta!"
BIO - Noisy, irritates all nearby. Hair-trigger temper, blusteringly belligerent... a terrifyingly effective warrior. Enormously strong, resistant to most conventional artillery. Combines with fellow Combaticons to form robot "Bruticus."
Alternate Mode: Tank
Voice Type: Male. Gruff. Militant with a soldiers tempo.
Voice range: Medium Low, Low
"What's to stop us from beatin' you into scrap iron instead?"
BIO - Blast Off feels literally and figuratively above the other Transformers as he soars through outer space. Aristocratic, aloof - disguises his long distance loneliness. Cruelly efficient at raining destruction on Earth. Blast Off condescends to combine with his fellow Combaticons to form Bruticus.
Alternate Mode: Space Shuttle
Voice Type: Male. Slight RP British accent.
Voice range: Medium to Low
"Scram you little creep! This litter void is Decepticon territory."
BIO - Likes to be where the action is. Charismatic, inspiring... other Protectobots have difficulty keeping up with his non-stop pace. Believes in being maximally operational every moment of one's life. With fellow Protectobots, forms "Defensor".
Alternate Mode: Firetruck
Voice Type: Male. Approximately 30s-40s age sounding range.
Voice Range: Low
“It's amazing what you can accomplish if you don't care who gets the credit.”
"Protectobots, stop those Decepticons!"
BIO - Views humans as if they were his own children - will expend his last drop of fuel to protect them. Seeks human friendship, but humans fear his massive, hulking, mechanical form. Can lift 300,000 pounds with one hand. Impervious to most artillery, can surround himself with force field for brief periods.
Voice Type: Powerful, maybe gravely
Voice Range: Low to Deep
"As long as one innocent being is threatened, then none are truly free."
(straining) "This would be a lot easier if First Aid were here!"
"The only way you're getting through, is hauled away in pieces!" (leaps/punches) "Hmf-Rah!"
BIO - A fierce and frightful fighting machine. Suppresses thought of the five Aerialbots that comprise him, directs his thinking to one purpose: destruction of Decepticons. Cold, aloof. Can demolish a battleship with one blow. Difficult for him to adapt to new situations or be innovative due to limited mental functions.
Voice Type: Strong, powerful, gruff, deep. Established voice performed by Ed Gilbert heard here.
Voice Range: Low to Deep
"Superion ready for action!"
"I'll make you pay! (Kicks) Raah!!
"Aerialbots, SEPERATE!"
BIO - Brave, grimly determined warrior, but he struggles to maintain that image in order to hide his fear of heights phobia. Selected by Optimus Prime to command the Aerialbots so that he'd be too busy worrying about others to worry about himself. Combines with other Aerialbots to form "Superion".
Alternate Mode: Concorde jet
Voice Type: Leader. Established voiced performed by a young Charlie Adler heard HERE.
Voice range: Medium Low
"There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure. So don't look down, look strait ahead."
"Aerialbots! Transform and unite to become Superion!"
BIO - Leader of the Predacons. All business. Hates waste in any form... won't burn an extra drop of fuel unless he's certain the results will be worth the effort. Long stretches of inactivity often mistaken for laziness. Explodes into furious, ferocious action when it's time to strike. Combines with fellow Predacons to form Predaking.
Alternate Mode: Lion
Voice Type: Male. Sometimes calm, cool, and indifferent, then other times more bold and savage. Sometimes has a fast savage purr/hiss impediment.
Voice Range: Low
"Wait 'til the guards come - Then we'll dismantle them."
"I'll rip you apart for that!" (Give him a savage cat growl either at beginning or end of line.)
"Predacons, form PREDAKING!"
BIO - He's like a kid at a candy store - always delighted by all the targets he has to choose from. Builds mecha-nests atop tall buildings and mountains; composed of late model sports cars, wings of jets, theater marquees. With fellow Predacons, forms Predaking.
Alternate Mode: Eagle
Voice Type: Male. Sounds like early to mid 20s age voice with medium pitch.
Voice Range: Medium to tenor
"This is Divebomb... I've located the Autobot. Do I have permission to destroy him?"
"I'll cut out your diodes!"
BIO - Rumble is your basic street punk. Small but always acting tough. Quick temper and mean disposition. Follows Soundblaster's orders eagerly. Transmits immense low frequency groundwaves to create powerful earthquakes. His small size limits his physical strength, but his ability to shatter the ground makes him difficult to approach in a fight.
Voice Type: Male. Street thug dialect.
Voice range: Medium to medium-high (tenor)
"Good to see ya Soundblaster."
"Heh heh, wait til Galvatron get's a load of this!"
BIO - Creating confusion is his specialty. As a Triple Changer, can switch from space shuttle to train to robot almost instantaneously. Thrives on foes' panic and fear. Functions as a military transport. As shuttle, travels at abnormal speeds & can launch weapons and satellites. Carries cargo.
Alternate Modes: Space Shuttle & Locomotive
Voice type: Male. Ideal voice would be similar to Zarkon from the original Voltron Lion series.
Voice range: Medium Low to Low
"One more load of death crystals and we'll be ready to turn Cybertron into metallic swiss cheese."
"Prepare to land on Cybertron!"
BIO - Sullen, fatalistic, sees little reason to continue Transformers' war. Motivating him to fight is always a problem. Vain - spends most of his time shining himself. Combines with Stunticons to form Menasor.
Voice Type: Male. Slight RP British accent. Vain. Pessimistic and indifferent.
Voice range: Medium to Low
"The word is 'mortifying'... Which is my sentiment exactly. Face it, we're doomed."
"I really don't care, do you?"
BIO - Prefers brute force over reason. Steam comes from his nasal ducts when he's enraged. Smashes head-first into highway trestles and small buildings to relieve his aggression. Always feels better afterwards.
Alternate mode: Bull
Voice Type: Male. Wild. A loose cannon.
Voice Range: Medium to Low to Deep
"I'll turn you into mud pie!"
"If he's come after the cannon, he's gonna get himself obliterated!
BIO - Doesn't listen to anyone, particularly his friends. Smug, arrogant. Puts up a stubborn front to hide deep-rooted insecurities. More vulnerable to psychological rather than physical attacks. In rhinoceros mode, his horn can puncture 3-foot thick steel, release corrosive acid. Combines with fellow Predacons to form Predaking.
Alternate mode: Rhinoceros
Voice Type: Male. Low pitch, stubborn, and sometimes snorts.
Voice Range: Low to deep
"The best advice is to not listen to advice!" (snorts)
BIO - An all-terrain veteran, comfortable fighting everywhere no matter how broken the terrain. Intelligent. A navigation expert... no matter the terrain, he will find a way through with the quickest route possible.
Alternate Mode: Bullet Train
"Not while I'm around, you won't!
"It doesn't matter what lies ahead. Wherever we have to be, I've got a way to get us there."
BIO- Midnight Express is the Railbots "night fighter", or stealth expert. When the lights get low, he really shines. Able to sneak up and take out opponents easily even under the worst visibility conditions. On the other hand, he tends to get a little sluggish and day dreamy when the sun is out. During the day, he slacks off from his duties.
Alternate Mode: Bullet Train

"If we travel under the cover of night, we can avoid being detected and move them to safety."
BIO - Defensive guards who patrol Autobot outposts on Cybertron.
There are several of these guards, so there will be multiple castings from auditions submitted with this listing. We are open to the idea of both female and male voices bringing these bots to life.

We are seeking video editors and audio editors we can share production with and make greater progress in producing the series. We hope to divide the workload with alternate episodes so that we can complete many more in the pipeline at a faster rate. Anyone willing to make this commitment will instantly be elevated to the leadership of the project, and will share in making decisions for the future benefit of the Transformers Headmasters English dub, including future casting decisions.

We are seeking audio editors we can share production with and make greater progress in producing the series. We will share our experience and audio effects settings for how we create Transformers Voice effects. We hope to streamline tasks and make the project much more efficient. We would like to have a 2nd and 3rd Audio Engineer to help construct sound effects tracks for some of the episodes in the middle of the series that are still a work in progress. This will help progress the project at a much greater speed of production.

We will share We will share all knowlege and settings we have learned for producing Transformers effects, and any of thing that may be of help in editing and producing.
