What is Total Pokemon Island?
Total Pokemon Island is an animated fan series inspired by Total Drama Island and other similar shows featuring Pokemon as the contestants. In this series 22 contestants face off against each other split into 2 teams as they compete for a grand prize of $1 million. The show's host Ambipom has hand selected a variety of strange, absurd, and idiotic characters to entertain as they must live with and fight against each other in a rundown summer camp on an island in the middle of the ocean.
About: Project historyTPI has been in the works for a long while now, and went through many rewrites and reiterations. The project is currently being worked on by just me and one other person. However after a reboot due to a change in writers and some technical issue we soon came to realize that this series was more to handle than just 2 people on their own. At least not in any feasibly timely manner.
After so long I finally come to you the rest of the internet to ask for help in making this series finally come true. The main thing we're looking for is voice actors for the cast, and potentially an assistant script writer.

When auditioning the thing we'll be looking at the most is that your audio is clear with minimal/no background noise, and of good quality. You can use whatever tools or audio editing software to reduce any background noise as needed. If you need to do so you will be expected to continue doing it as you work on the project.
The show will contain swears so if that bothers you have been warned.
You must be 16+ to audition (anyone 18+ will be prioritized.)
For the writing positions the main things we are looking for at the moment is a script editor to review and finalize scripts. However a more involved role could be possible in the future should you want it.

Ambipom is the host of the show. Seemingly all powerful with supernatural 4th wall breaking abilities. He tends to be apathetic when it comes to anyone else's problems, and is always set on making sure the show is a success for better or worse.
(Agitated) "You see this is the part where I would care if I did, which I don't... So go bother someone else."
(Commanding + Sarcasm) "Campers! Come meet me at the campfire for your next challenge. Or don't, but it will be your funeral. Literally."
(Announcing) "That’s not important right now because the Dynamic Dialga’s win the challenge! Palkia’s meet back here tonight for the elimination ceremony."
Male He/Him
The overworked and underpaid cohost who also acts as the camp chef, janitor, councilor. He hates the current job that his been thrusted onto him and is usually pissed at everyone, and everything around him.
(Angry) "Get back here! I'm not done yelling at you!"
(Annoyed) "Maybe you should stop complaining, and eat the food in front of you before it eats you."
(Rage) "Oh, so you think I'm a cliché do you? WELL I'LL SHOW YOU WHO'S A CLICHE!"
Male He/Him
Beldum is the dumb bro type jock who's always hanging out with his best bro Piplup (No homo, unless...). The two of them are practically inseparable and are never seen without the other.
(Excited) "Bro! We are so going to win this thing bro!"
(Amazed) "Bro, did you see that!"
(Bro-ish) "Bro, that's like so deep bro."
Male He/him
Bellsprout or "Lil' Cunty" as he calls himself thinks he's all that because he has 3 Soundcloud followers. He dreams of being the next big rap legend, but it's clear to everyone but him that he just sucks.
(Annoying) "Yo yo yo, what up people? Lil' Cunty's in the house."
(Proud) "Shoutout to my 3 Soundcloud followers."
*noises that sound like you're trying to rap but are clearly failing to do so*
Female She/Her
Budew is the classic mean girl who believes she's better than everyone else, and well, she does have the skill set to be confident in that claim.
(Belittling) "No, losing is for ugly people. So if you don't want to be ugly, go and win this challenge already."
(Arragant) "Oh please, she's just lucky we still need her vote to be safe in this game, otherwise I would have dropped her a long time ago."
(Irritated) "What? You can't just change the rules whenever you feel like it. That's not fair!"
Male He/Him
Bulbasaur is an overall good guy and friend to have. He always has a plan (even if it's not good), and does everything he can to help his teammates succeed. Bulbasaur always tries to make a good impression with everyone to keep peace and prevent fighting.
(Confident) "Well if we stick together then we’ll all cross the finish line at the same time. It’s the most surefire strategy to get us the win."
(Soothing) "Come on guys, let's not fight over this we can just talk things out instead."
(Confused) "Wait what how did we- weren’t we just at the campfire?"
Male He/Him
Charmander is the kind of guy that likes to go the extra mile when doing anything, and he always has to do it in a way to show off how better he is than everyone else. He always feels that others are holding him back when they don't try as hard as he does.
(Annoyed) "RAAA! You're too slow, let me do it!"
(Condescending) "As team captain I say that YOU are sitting this challenge out because the other guys are stronger than you are."
(Frustrated) "What do you mean we lost again? They have no skill!"
Female She/Her
Chikorita is your stereotypical valley girl. She's the typical spoiled brat who's always maxing out daddy's credit cards, and she's here so her parents can get a break from her attitude, and spending.
(Uninterested) "Ugh, Fine, whatever. It's not like I have anything better to do anyway."
(Annoyed) "Literally no one cares Treecko. Now leave me alone, I'm doing my nails."
(Sarcastic) "You know what? Sure. Let’s go up the stairway to hell. What could possibly go wrong?"
Female She/her
Clefairy is BFF's with Happiny, and the two of them are virtually inseparable, at least until they get put on opposite teams from the other. Between the two of them they are very much terminally online and into fandom drama, and fanfiction. Clefairy tends to be more into the unhinged sides of online communities, and frequents wattpad regularly. While she isn't very interested in men herself she is interested in shipping men together, and writes lots of fanfiction about it.
(Dismissive) "Not right now, I'm fujo-ing out."
(Worried) "No! I can't! My bestie is on the other team!"
(Curious) "So tell me, in your honest scientific opinion. Do you think, Lucario- is into eggpreg?"
Male He/him
Despite his brutish appearance Druddigon is a rather gentle creature. He prefers keeping things calm and peaceful as he doesn't deal with high stress environments well.
(Regretful) "You know, maybe that wasn't the best idea we had."
(Stern) "Well we're not going to be getting anywhere if you two keep fighting."
(Confident) "It can't be that bad. It's not like a computer virus would try to kill us."
Female She/her
On an island full of weird and varied personalities, Eevee is by far the weirdest as she is the only "Normal" character. She's your average girl from your average suburb community. She may seem basic but she's here to show that "normal" isn't as boring as you might think (Unless she breaks and goes insane first).
(Normal) "I would just like to say that this plan is kind of dumb."
(Embarrassed) "I might have, accidentally... Left Snivy in the combustion room."
(Vengeful) "I hope Yanma’s go extinct."
Female She/her
Happinyis BFF's with Clefairy, and the two of them are virtually inseparable, at least until they get put on opposite teams from the other. Between the two of them they are very much terminally online and into fandom drama, and fanfiction. Happiny tends to be the more grounded of the two. While she is into some unhinged things herself Happiny is able to keep her freak online and separate it from her personal life.
(Worried) "But I can't be separated from my bestie! She can't survive without me."
(Unamused) "Really? We get separated for that long and that's the first thing you have to say to me?"
(Disgusted) "I've seen cleaner balls at Dashcon."

Kecleon is the typical nerd. He's on all the forums and blogs you can imagine ranting about the nichest things out there that no one has heard of. You can typically find him on local wifi networks installing bitcoin miners on to other people's laptops.
(Excited) "Nerherher, I finally found the bitcoin!"
(Gloating) "You could never comprehend the machinations of my mind."
(Afraid) "You can take my lunch money! Just don't hurt my butterfly collection!"
Male He/him
Lickitung likes food. the only thing he likes more than food, is eating food. He's not the smartest at, well anything. He has a pretty one track mind, and will do everything in his power to fulfill his ultimate ambition of eating.
(Oblivious) "That's interesting and all, but when do we eat it?"
(Excited) "Oh my gosh! It's a magical floating talking chocolate chip cookie with sprinkles! I MUST HAVE IT!"
(Concerned) "You know I think you're a good guy giving me all those cookies the other day, but the crushing weights you keep dropping on my head are beginning to make me question our friendship."
Female She/her
Litwick is into darker and alternative things. She's never the social type preferring to be by herself most of the time. She's very much into the occult, in fact she's an expert on the subject when you consider she's a ghost.
(Interested) "I’m vibing with the stairway to hell."
(Bored) "This is so boring it's killing me... Oh wait, I'm already dead."
(Tired) "I'll pay you to leave me alone."

Mareep is a solo punk rock musician from the countryside looking to get out of her small town and make a name for herself in the music industry.
(Aloof) "You’re like the most trustworthy guy here, like I would believe you if you lied to me and told me my head was about to explode or something."
(Serious) "You can come out. I know you’re hiding here."
(Explanatory) "Back in Saint Olaf Wailords were wailords and Skitty's were skittys."

Munchlax likes to beat up on the weaker people around him to make himself feel superior. Whenever someone seems better then him he'll try to do what he can to undermine their success so he can seem like the better person.
(Scheming) "Hey I’ve got an idea, that guy is the other team’s dumbest member right? So why don’t YOU tell him that the pokemon on his card is something that he can never find?"
(Suggesting) "So here’s what I’m thinking. Our alliance needs to be strong, like us. We need to be an unstoppable force that the nerds have no hope of beating."
(Upset) "Out of everyone I could’ve been stuck with, it had to be the nerdiest nerd on the whole island."

Piplup is Beldum's best bro. Just because he's smaller and doesn't have cool psychic powers doesn't mean he's weak.
(Boasting) "Oh yeah? Watch this bro."
(Disgust) "I’m so voting for that traitor the next time we lose."
(Encouraging) "Bro you got this. You’re the strongest here. Now win."
Female She/her
Ponyta isn't the brightest bulb there is, but she does her best. She's into all the stereotypical teenage girly stuff like makeup, boys, clothes, and shopping. She's a quick thinker, but her ideas are only good when it comes to which dress best matches those shoes.
(Dreamy) "Oh my gosh! That's so funny. You're so funny."
(Scared) "OH MAI GAWD THIS UGLY BITCH IS IN THE WATER STARING AT MEeeeeee"
(Surprise) "OOH! A mall? Where?"

Ralts was a very sheltered kid as his family is overprotective of him as they were worried he would get bullied because of species more feminine appearance. He came to the island to try and break free from his shell but struggles to relate to anyone right away as he prior social experience.
(Timid) "You guys are being kind of loud so..."
(Defeated) "Yeah well I'm going home next so I kind of want to be alone."
(Concerned) "Uuumm. What are you doing here?"
Riolu He/him
Riolu is an orphan who was left at a traditional martial arts dojo. He holds his ideals and honor highly, and always tries to look at the positives in everything only using his strength for good. He doesn't get to interact with people his age much and can be quite gullible as a result. He's pretty much an open book and never hides any secrets.... Right?
(Suggesting) "Kecleon’s a pretty smart guy. He might be able to offer some strategy so we aren’t over relying on our brawns."
(Concerned) "I don't know... Picking on a weak foe like that is kind of shameful."
(Embarrassed) "Hehe. Yeah, I would, never lie. Not to gain an unfair advantage or anything like that. hahahaha....."
Male He/him
Sneasel is the typical bully, always messing with other people's heads just to have a laugh at their expense. He usually isn't the type to resort to physical violence, usually preferring to get into someone's head then watching the rest play out. He can't help but take advantage of other people's stupidity and gullibility whenever he needs a quick laugh.
(snarky) "Say, why don't you go and tell Budew all about the wacky adventures you had the past few days, and I'll go- not here."
(Amused) "I didn't want to see his bones turn inside out as much as the next, but it was funny."
(annoyed) "I don’t know but if those two don’t shut it I’m going to make them."

Snivy is rich. Really rich. Fuck you amounts of money rich. Why is he competing for more money he doesn't need or want? So the poor people can't have it.
(Disgusted) "Ew, that sounds poor. I wouldn't be caught dead doing that."
(Superior) "You poor people wish you were me."
(Bored) "Infinite wealth is poor people money."

Treecko is from the good ol rural USA parts. He grew up on the farm with his many siblings, and was politely suggested to go away for the summer to compete on the show. Treecko unlike his typical country brethren is into extreme sports, and wild parties. He's quite loud and full of energy, so many people can find him to be annoying.
(Explaining) "I haven’t been hunting since the day great grampappy lost his right leg. We don’t talk about how he lost his leg."
(Proud) "I dunno nothing about computers, but I know this great home remedy that will cure any illness."
(happy crying) "That's the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me."
Male He/him
Totodile is just some guy who happened to be living on the island. The thing is, he's kind of insane. He likes the taste of flesh, but more importantly he likes candy. He often terrorizes the contestants (especially if they're pink and look like gumballs) by biting them to taste their yummy flesh.
(Insane) "*deep breathing* Fleeeeeeesh"
(Lunacy) "I. LIKE. CANDY!"
