Tony Stark/Iron Man Role For Marvel Audio Dramas
Project Overview
This is a role for a larger universe, Tony is a key character and will have a lot of lines! Please keep that in mind before auditioning and be willing to be dedicated!
The Marvel Audio Drama universe is a series of connected stories in the veil of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the Marvel comic universe, focusing on large stories but also more grounded, more personal stories for each of these iconic characters. We've taken inspiration from several sources for all of our characters, including Tony.
Tony is keeping his Iron Man persona close to the vest, only telling the people he fully trusts. Right now he's riding high, he feels invincible and life is good for him. But it won't always be that way... there's a storm coming.
What will Tony appear in? We are currently working on an Avengers sequel and he will be appearing in our next project, a Deadpool story. He will have many appearances in the future, ensemble projects, solo projects, and cameos elsewhere.

Tony Stark is Iron Man, but in this universe only his closest friends know this. He's somewhat of a pompous ass that's more than a little full of himself, but he's also justified in that too. As Iron Man, he gets to live his hero fantasy and feels like he's doing a lot of good. He's a little selfish, but also very selfless to balance that out.
As far as performance, our original actor did somewhat of a Robert Downey Jr. impression, so feel free to go down that route if you wish. But feel free to try your own thing too! Don't worry about Iron Man effects on the lines too, we'll do that.

[being heartfelt to a villain, understanding their pain] Stark just wants peace, he told me he pictures a world without weapons… When that day comes, I’ll step down and Iron Man will cease to exist.
[talking to J.A.R.V.I.S, looking past an official report of what happened and thinking critically] People deserve second chances, right? Plus, consider this Watson. If you’re trying to get a shit load of money, or even enough for table scraps, would you rob a rinky dink convenience store that gets maybe 10 customers daily? Without even a ski mask? This feels purposeful, like this guy actually wanted to go to jail. He’s got some sort of secret deep in there.
