Project Overview
Hello!
I'm Casey McDonald, I've previously worked with 'Legendary Frog' and Mark Schneider as writer and background / prop designer for Toonwerks, notable on "Wonders of the Universe" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_iZomJI3X7g&list=PLpbp5sDjrxloTbSc_YPGvJQ-O5RHbspnh)
I've since split off to start my own show, a fantasy adventure called Toll of the Lost! All the details and characters I need cast for ep1 are in this google doc:

(In brief, i need 4 male and 1 female. 2 of the characters (the last 2 in the document) only show up for the first scene but will re-appear in later episodes)
"Dust: An Elysian Tail" voice director, Deven Mack is serving as casting adviser on the project as well.

INFORMATION
The Grand Arbiter is the current, sitting lord of the Dragons. He holds his position with strength and doesn’t have a lot of patience for games and trickery. Easily the sort that doesn’t accept any kind of failure and the value of others must be proven before utilized. He’s not really one for tactics, but he also understands the value of his council.
NOTES
Prefers things straightforward
Loud and dominating. Brings presence
Sort of your “classic dragon”, all fire, brimstone, piles of gold, and little empathy for anyone
This is no time for your levity, whelp!! Anyone else would be trialed for execution!
We’re not going to help your hatchling brother. Have you forgotten we’re at war?
This council WILL remain respected!
INFORMATION
Valdoros’ oldest brother, and a member of the Draconic council. He’s respected for being an open thinker, often times coming up with solutions for previously thought impossible problems and is unafraid to question authority. In this way he’s similar to Valdoros. Where he differs from his younger brother is his slower pace. He’s very methodical and meditative and doesn’t easily cast aside culture.
NOTES
Very level headed and thought out
Somewhat quiet
Speaks for those around him
Kind of the “all around good-guy” at the start of the series. Wants what is best, even when he knows it’s impossible
He is not ‘anyone else’ Arbiter. We don’t kill our own kind…
All things, sooner or later come to an end… doesn’t mean I have to like watching it.
Valdoros… you could be one of our greatest philosophers and thinkers… and yet you waste it on the humans…
INFORMATION:
730 year old exiled Dragon who has taken on a human form in order to hide amongst society (banished for practicing outlawed and dangerous magic). Has a love for books, knowledge, magic and science. Character is very much the opposite of minimalism.

Loves to correct grammar, and common misconceptions
Ideal job, if he had one, would be professoring somewhere about history, surrounded by dusty books

INFORMATION
Eternius is the imprisoned soul of the ancient prophet “Schal the Eternal”. He’s older than anyone can comprehend and has bore witness to the span of all time. Being tied to a book, he’s not capable of interacting much with people besides influencing their decision making. In this way he’s very manipulative and loves toying with others.
NOTES
Despite his eerie personality, he’s very enticing and confident. So much so, that he never needs to yell to make a point.
Difficult to tell who’s side he’s really on
Playful in a sinister way, sort of a slimy character.
Plays the long con chessmaster role, shuffling people around like tokens on a board.
Valdoros is the ONLY character that treats Eternius in a casual manner, and in turn, Eternius appears to hate Valdoros more than anyone else.

INFORMATION
Being a wandering refugee from the northern warrior clans, Kaskara has an extreme distrust of Magic due to it’s dubious nature. She lives her day to day life as a mercenary for various nobles. She has some sense of honor, but living on her own has taught her that life is hard, and there’s no such thing as living comfortably.
NOTES
Has a harsh view of the world
Sarcastic, gruff and to the point
Probably smart enough to be a true leader, but wouldn’t want to deal with people whining to her about their problems
Very focussed on the here and now
