Tokyo Mew Mew: Abridged the Series
Project Overview
Tokyo Mew Mew: Abridged the Series is a passion project and meant to be a revival of classic 2000s abridged content, without all the controversial takes. Based on Tokyo Mew Mew, it is chaotic and full of jokes that Deadpool would be proud of. The first two episodes have already been released, but I am looking to expand the cast and bring a semblance of professionalism to this horrific project. It has three seasons planned as of now.
The cast will be working together on Discord, the link of which will be provided to those who obtain the roles. For those auditioning, I ask that you provide at least 2 takes of each line, and have a mic that restricts gain and background noise. Due to the obscene and vulgar nature of this series, I ask that you are at least over 18 before auditioning.
When you are logged in, you can comment, add submissions, create projects, upvote, search open roles, and way more. Login here.
Minto is a spoiled brat, often flaunting her money with every sentence as well as her secretive motivations for heinous crime which she lets slip on the occasion. A parody of the original character, she sees herself as higher than everybody else and to some people's surprise, is also quite casual about being an open lesbian.

I enjoy afternoon tea, shopping and the occasional break-in at midnight.
Where would I be without my wallet? (panicked) Where would I be?!
If you repeat what my lips said, I'll make sure yours are painted red.
When Retasu does speak, she speaks in a shy, conserved voice. She is often blunt in both her tone and what she says, preferring to get to the point of things and not dance around the bush. When she does speak her mind, she can get angry to the point of irrationality.

I like long walks by the beach.
Can I help? No? Alright. I'm rather sad now.
I have a feeling that I'm not needed, but I'm going to help anyway.
Zakuro speaks in a calm and collected tone- out of the main cast she seems to be the only sane woman. However, she is very superstitious, and often draws many insane conclusions about simple problems. She is also deeply religious, but only to a comedic point.

(angry) This is what I get when I miss bible study!
(sarcastic) Keep talking. I'm listening.
You ARE aware that the energies and micro-vibrations of the universe fluctuate depending on one's mood, right?
Ryou is a stereotypical furry, and prefers to make his life and dreams come true on the form of the Mew Project. He's casual in what he says, no matter how NSFW it might sound to the other party. He is resented by other furries, who state he gives the community a bad name (and for good reason).

I like my fursonas in maid costumes.
If this is meant to offend me, you'd be surprised by how much I can tolerate.
(serious) The internet raised me, in a cursed and unforgiving world.
Keiichiro, nicknamed "Churrito" by Ichigo, is a well-dressed gentleman...as well as a former stalker. He used his past knowledge to help find the Mews, and his advice to the girls is rarely needed or used.

Simple, follow her home and keep knocking until you see flashing lights.
(happily) Working with you two makes me want to tear my hair out, you know?
I don't get it, wandering the city at night is completely safe!
Quiche is a creep, and he knows it. He presents himself as emo, edgy, and "bad to the bone". A villain through and through, he understands what he does is such, but continues anyway because he finds it darkly fun. He speaks in a playful, almost childish tone.

Welp. I've been creepy long enough. Bye~!
Where do you think you're going, kitten?
It's funny, this is all for comedy, but if this was real life I'd have a lifetime sentence!
Pai is the only sane man of the entire cast, for realsies this time! He often questions what he's doing and breaks the fourth wall to explain why everything they're doing is nonsense. He sounds tired 24/7.

Wrangling you two is like trying to convince a politician to be honest.
I don't understand. Why don't we just send all of our Chimera Anima at them at once?
Maybe in a few episodes you'll win, I'm sure of it.
An unseen figure, he calls the shots for the Aliens and directs them to retake the planet. Despite his authority, he is actually quite dumb, and when he finally appears onscreen most of his actions will be purely accidental. Despite this, his voice is calm, authoritative, and menacing.

I expect the plan did not work out the way it was intended?
You will do my bidding, or so help me you won't live to see Episode 10.
Am I missing something? Are you telling me I am *wrong*?
While she never makes an appearance on-screen, she will be on a phone call between some of the characters discussing some fourth-wall shenanigans with Ryou. She speaks with an Australian accent.

So Season 2 is coming, right?
You think I'll be chosen as the next Mew?
Listen, mate, I think you're overthinking things.
